Holiday vibe, either due to colors or design…
A seasonal favorite, especially due to those golden trumpets against the bright red… Orgauphone et Autres Mechaniques

Fifi, you are Queen of the Brights. Festive all year round!!

With a full heart of thanks to this amazing and lovely community that has welcomed me so generously over the past ten months, I wish you all the most joyous holiday with your family and friends, near or virtual and of course, wearing your gorgeous silks! I am so very happy to share my 2021 new-to-me L'Hiver en Poste today. We will be having a tropical Christmas in NOLA so this is the closest I will get to snow!

Lkb - both these ties are perfect for this carre! Lovely.

Thank you for the compliments on my pendant yesterday. Before I collected Hermès scarves I collected pearl jewelry. Before I collected pearls I collected colored gemstones. I would purchase nice cut gemstones and have them set by local jewelers.

This particular pendant features a wonderful clean and large cabochon of Zambian amethyst from Mastercut Gems. I paired it with a small round green bit of chrome tourmaline. I had purchased a pair of chrome tourmaline and had them made into earrings years before and the cutter (whose name I do not recall) included this little matching green gem in the package. I took the two stones to my local jeweler, Stephen Vincent, who is now retired, and said make me something. He came up with this design which is right down my alley. Clean, simple, elegant, and which features the stones.

I paired the pendant with these Richard Homer amethyst earring drops, set by T Lee. (You can see my white pine reflected in the amethyst.)

One day (during some warm weather month....) I was walking and someone stopped and said how Christmas-y this was (  )

So here is my Christmas offering for the day.... Indian stepwell as a Christmas scarf with Ugo Gattoni's Bains d'H in green, orange, and deep hot pink.

Have a very happy holiday weekend everyone!
That is such a happy, festive scarf, bunny!

Thank you for another marvelous introduction! You have certainly been a tireless Scarf Mistress at the year's end! I love the final paragraph of your intro as I very much feel the need to evaluate and take a moment after what has been an exciting (and admittedly excessively enthusiastic) year of scarf acquisition. TPF has helped me shape my collection in truly magical ways and I am very grateful. I decided to collect by artist, and this year I concentrated on Annie Faivre, Aline Honore and Alice Shirley. For Annie Faivre I added Domes Celeste, Maitres de la Foret, Jardin a Sintra as well as two Colorway add/replace for Libres Commes l'Air and Promenade du Platon. My absolute favorite of all is this one-- a beautiful blue and grey Cavaliers du Caucasse. While there is always more to love and want, I feel I now have her designs that speak to me...

You have also acquired most excellent knotting skills, grasshopper!

Merry Christmas to all from the Cookie Family! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

(and a happy peaceful day to those how don’t celebrate! ❤️)
I love this beauty, cookie. I have no flamingo party, but this would be my choice. (I started my h journey with blue, but I adore all the reds in my collection.)
