So beautifully tied! I must try this with my Grand Tralala.I am heading out to a lecture and my actual SOTD is on theme: the rhythmic, looping decorative bridle straps of Grand Tralala!

I'll always remember this design because my SA and I pondered the design name "At the Corner of the Fire"? What does that mean?Thank you so much for hosting the past weeks, @xincinsin! I marvel at at the lovely scarves you introduced me to!
What a great intro, @Cookiefiend! Very much looking forward to how this week will develop.
Here is my first contribution: Au Coin du Feu. Knitting definitively is a recurring pattern. I love the christmassy interpretation of Ex Libris.

What a lovely and surprising CW! (Mine is the mostly pink one.) The online picture is boring and looks nothing like the real thing. It's gorgeous on you - with that great pink ribbon and the HEM!I am heading out to a lecture and my actual SOTD is on theme: the rhythmic, looping decorative bridle straps of Grand Tralala!

Wasting time on internet waiting for other computer to reboot - the one with the scarf info - so cannot put fingers on the story, the artist is Nicolas Buffe, if I remember, lives in Japan and is a manga artistI did not know that, although I have been fortunate enough to go to Rome and see the column. Thanks.
This would be better then.

My daughter grew up loving manga. That was a huge influence on her becoming an artist. She has published graphic novels, does screen printing and teaches art. Unfortunately, she has no interest in Hermes scarves.Wasting time on internet waiting for other computer to reboot - the one with the scarf info - so cannot put fingers on the story, the artist is Nicolas Buffe, if I remember, lives in Japan and is a manga artist
LOL, xincinsin, Au Coin du Feu means „By the fireside“.I'll always remember this design because my SA and I pondered the design name "At the Corner of the Fire"? What does that mean?A little knowledge is a dangerous thing indeed!
I also remember it because my mum, who is very good at handicraft, informed me after my attempts at knitting and embroidery, that I wielded needles and knitting pins like they were barbecue skewers![]()
Indeed, momasaurus, this is really, really great. At first I thought it was real. The trompe l'oeil label is my favorite part of this scarf. Genius.

OMG @xincinsin that is so funny and I can't knit either! Some sort of knitting dyslexia sets in...And I also have a lot of knitters and needlepointers in my family.I'll always remember this design because my SA and I pondered the design name "At the Corner of the Fire"? What does that mean?A little knowledge is a dangerous thing indeed!

Thank you so much @momasaurus! I ordered it online in pink, black and this one. Loved them all but this one met my wardrobe and it was like a sorority girl rush! They all loved her cuz she went with everything. What a lovely and surprising CW! (Mine is the mostly pink one.) The online picture is boring and looks nothing like the real thing. It's gorgeous on you - with that great pink ribbon and the HEM!
