Those colours suit you perfectly! and love them on this design.

Such a pretty scarf... and perfectly on theme!

Sisters on this bandana, and love your Toile!

the perfect synthesis, Cookie (and green!)/

great to have you back, and what a day...!

too cute, Nomad!

This scarlet ribbon bookmark looks astonishingly real. And love to see this CW of Boogie Woogie. Thank you so much for this week (and your hosting marathon...)! :flowers: :flowers: :flowers:

this green hem... and perfect bracelets to go with.

Thank you kindly, turfnsurf!

What a nice way to wear this design, and you have the perfect scarf ring to go with!

Those skaters are so self-absorbed - and what a great CW, Croisette!
Thank you so kindly, Agrume. I’m very fond of this knot for certain designs.

Thank you and really happy to be twins with you LKBNOLA. No this one I bought 2 years ago right after it was released. The one my SA found me is from SS2021. I have not unpacked my shopping yet.
Dear @Nahreen, please unpack your bags and don't keep your fellow scarfies in suspense! We live vicariously through each others scarf mail and shopping trips...Here's my twin PeF. It took me four tries to get the cws I wanted in this design. Finally settled on this one and the orange.
Plumes en Fete 2.jpg
Oohhh love this one and was so tempted to get it when RBH showed hers. You two are Twins! This is the first design that lured me to the bandana side. I think your knot is perfection with this 70/55?? Wonderful styling. Is it a bova knot ( I think it’s called)?
The main reason I restrained myself is because I am questioning if I love the 70 or 55 format. So I told myself to wear them more and decide before buying another :girlsigh:
Thank you @Nomad! I just twirl the bandana and do a sort of ascot knot-- my Parisian DIL just rolls her bandanas like a hot dog and ties them this way so I've always copied her...I wear my three 55 bandanas far more than the one 70 version I have. This one is 55. It hits a sweet spot between gav and 70 for me.
OMG! My favorite scarf ring and the colors here (that rose shading to burgundy!) and those checked border accents in the corners are TDF @Croisette7 :hbeat:

A lovely design with a lovely title @HScarfCollector! I was unfamiliar with this one and so happy you introduced me to it.
Lovely examples of where the ribbon is the major design focus, @xincinsin. I was wondering if my La Serpentine de Pierre Charpin would fit into the theme of the week, and apparently it does.

From the Story Behind:

"The composition is structured by a ribbon that changes color at each turn. In the folds of this play with volume and solid colors, a character or a word from the artist could make an appearance. The protagonist is none other than a horse."

I love this @Redbirdhermes -- such a fantastic design and wonderful cw on you!
SOTD to go out and about with good friends to a holiday market, a chili and chowder charitable fest and Santa Speedo race on our main business street. It was great fun and I found a few gifts. Those runners must have been freezing. En Cadre in chocolat, blanc and rose. Kind of rinbon-like in its drape. View attachment 5265857
What a lovely local Christmas event and you were perfectly scarfed for it @Karenska!
Thanks for the welcome back :hugs:!!
Haha. I normally do not log in all that mileage in one day. I either do one or the other. I love the thought of working out in a beautiful H scarf though!

Love this look! I've eyed the design in the earlier 90 format so many times. I had no idea it is now out in a bandana and so darn cute!
:ty: and that is the perfect adjective! It is very cute. So cute, I bought the teal one for my sister! For some reason I like the design more in the smaller version but I too was eyeing the 90 just because of the adorable vignettes and the theme. The original is on my list, too because Paris + Lovers and that one has literary couples on it!
I'm enamoured with @Croisette7's clear CDA too
Boogie Woogie is a very fun design (and a total impossibility for me - two left feet  )

I haven't met an Amoureux that loves me back yet. You look spiffy in yours!
And a private ribbon theme is  . Any chance of you hosting a theme next year ;) ?
:ty: I'm on the hunt for a clear CdA and will ping if i have any luck @xincinsin! I would love to have a Boogie Woogie to wear in New Orleans during French Quarter Fest and Jazz Fest and any number of other musical events. No one here is afraid to let their "freak flag fly" as they say, so two left feet is not a problem as long as you are having fun! Laissez les bon temps roulez :happydance: As to a theme-- hmmm. Usually my mini-inspirations come from the Scarf Mistress prompts...
Grand post!! And great H-modshot logic ;). Your ZP GT is a faaab cw, dear Cookiefiend. I have a ZP, too, now, acquired from a lovely friend. Here it is, showing it’s feathered wings.

Beautiful @Karenska-- lovely tie for this with your matching CdA!
I remember a total lace Hermes scarf appearing in several resellers' inventory over the past two years. Astronomical price of course. (Totally not tempted, I promise you ... well, maybe I was ... just a little ... :giggle: )

I love @paula24jen's Doigts de Fee. Here is mine in red to close this fanciful week. Shown here with Paddock which has many ladies in ribbons and bows and lace!

This design came to my attention first from @paula24jen and also @Cookiefiend (if i am not mis-remembering) has a stunning plisse and the cws just keep upping the ante on how beautiful it is! Lovely in red @xincinsin and a huge thank you and flowers for hosting back to back weeks for us! :flowers: :flowers: I always learn so much and adore seeing your collection in the theme context, too!
How beautiful!

Look at the fringe on this beauty and your perfect styling with that warm and toasty sweater! Lovely as always @Croisette7 ! (And :ty: for the compliment on my toile...
Sisters on this bandana, and love your Toile!
Oh, thank you so much @Agrume! I tried to be your bandana twin but the lovely camel and grey didn't love me back as much as I wished. Unrequited scarf love is a bummer but fortunately there's usually another contender... And I never met a toile I didn't go head over heels for!
Oh, isn’t that lovely! I don’t know this design, LKB, is it oblong?
:ty: It is stole sized. Yes @Karenska oblong. It was the first moussie I ever bought. The oblong makes it versatile and it is easy to tie because it is crinkly!

this ties so beautifully with its colors and design. I had never seen it before last week and was tempted to buy it. But its ban island for me.
Coming in under the wire with my SOTE and my favorite detail from the vignettes on Toile d'Hermes. This lovely lady is wearing a scarf and I am certain it has a ribbon or lace or other detail that would fit our theme! (Apologies for the lighting!)

Good First Sunday of December Scarflandia!
5 December 2021 - Sense of Rhythm - scarves with a repeated pattern or design structure.

Rhythm means ‘any regular recurring motion’. But we all know it means so much more.
It’s also the timing of events on a human scale, the spoken word in poetry (though you can also hear it in your mind) and lyrics, musical sounds, and the steps of a dance - queing Dick Clark from American Bandstand (a blast from my past)
54294020-F656-467E-9658-7498802799E0.jpeg
It’s got a good beat, and you can dance to it! Woot!

Rhythm can also be a pattern, a regular repetition in a design. Our brains are wired to find patterns everywhere, it can help us make sense out of chaos.
Speaking of chaos - Tohu Bohu - an excellent example of making sense out of chaos

BEC39FB7-F4ED-465D-9291-7E25213E6B06.jpeg
(Of course it can also make us see faces in the wallpaper - ask me why I don’t have any wallpaper at my house - which isn’t such a good thing.:panic:)

A design that shows “repetition” in its design is Cuivreries, it’s a pleasing layout of horse bridles and so easy on the eye.

Many thanks to @xincinsin for hosting these past weeks. Welcome, @Cookiefiend , and thank you for your marvelous examples of repeated design and rhythm.

Belles du Mexique is a design that not only has repeated elements and lots of rhythm, but also the dancers are often sporting scarves like ribbons. Along with all the reds in my colorway, this happy scarf is a cheerful crossover on this cold and blustery December Sunday.
