Good to see you back, and a beautiful scarf!

Gorgeous, Julide!

Pretty candy colours, Snausages!

Another happy scarf, nicely paired with those stripes, Nomad!

Totally not my colours - but love it, lucky you that you can wear those, Karenska!!

Thank you for sharing those details, fabulous, turfnsurf!

Awed by your collection, Xincinsin! more fabulous details!

Wonderful pairing, LKBNOLA, and enjoy the last days of Chanukah!

Love to see the expression on their faces!

such beautiful colours, Cookie!

Great with black, Croisette!

As the others state, I would not have noticed... not a bad scarf to have this accident...

and it is gorgeous, Nahreen!
Thank you, Agrume!

SOYD was again De passage à Moscou, I wanted to wear it > once this year. The warm ladies' coats are embellished with fur, I think, in this cold winter weather.

Perfect with your sweater, twin!

Recently I was so lucky to find a SE of Les triplés, my SOTD. I love this design. The little girl wears a bow:

This is the most charming scarf ever, that little girl is so sweet!
Thank you so much to @Croisette7, @Redbirdhermes, @Cookiefiend, @Karenska, @turfnsurf, @Barbette and @Nahreen for your kind comments. It is great to be back among the lovely tPF scarfies!

A beautiful pairing and that design does have so many charming scenes! Also, my cellphone (an object of much family ridicula becaue it is so old) is also about to be replaced. I hope my mod shots look as nice as yours on a new device!

I adore this design and in particular in this cw, Cookie! It looks simply beautiful with your earrings. This design has a very energetic vibe in the darker cws but this one is just quietly stunning.

This is simply fantastic @Croisette7! I would love to add Paperoles to my collection-- don't think I have ever seen this beautiful happy cw and that amazing hem against the teal and pink is :faint:

How lovely and what a fun idea to turn your scarf ring into a way of embellishing your outfit and not just your scarf @Karenska! I am glad you had fun with your fun scarf!

This made me  as I am now in the land of Steel Magnolias!

Ah, I can only imagine your initial dismay @laurenad but as your friendly scarfie support community has pointed out, it hardly calls attention to itself as far as stains go! Ink is a bear to fool with so wabi-sabi co-existence is a good strategy!

Wow turf! I adore the chacks and bright green border and surely these lovelies have earned the Best Dress Horse Award! Amazing.

Thank you @Barbette! I saw it on this thread during Annie Faivre week and immediately began my hunt. Like so many H designs (I am thinking of Cookie's Parures de Maharajahs too) it has a totally different vibe depending on the cw.

I am twins with you on this beautiful Plumes @Nahreen! Is this the one your SA recently found for you? It looks wonderful with your camel sweater.

:ty: @Agrume!

Both are wonderful Agrume and huge congratulations on finding that adorable SE of Les Triples! It looks just like delightful children's book illustrations from a by-gone era...
Thank you, LKBNOLA ... yes, you need a Paperoles!

I was looking for elaborate hairdoes or hats.
I like this lady's fancy bonnet, the ribbons twirling as she dances.

And there's this geisha with multiple combs and hairpins. Her obi, as @Cookiefiend pointed out, is one giant ribbon!

Next are the merrymakers of Cavalcade de Mai who have adorned themselves with leafy necklaces and crowns, astride their beribboned mounts.

Agrume, admittedly, that cw of Paperoles is difficult with my wardrobe but it is so beautiful, I try to wear it once in a while.

Heading out to back to back board meetings and posting my actual SOTD on theme! What ribbon never fails to make a scarfie's heart beat faster? Here it is gracing two silks-- a 90 and a 70 (from last August)--

Ahh, the iconic Bolduc ribbon. I love both, LKB, but the first 70 in those taupes and greys makes my heart go pittypat.

Thank you, Agrume!

Good morning, Scarflandia! We are back in New Orleans and about 80% of our rentrée is done. And most important I am happy to report that the silks and new csgms have been unpacked and placed on their designated shelf. An as yet unnamed scarf mannequin has been assembled so I can continue my knot adventures. Too many days of beautiful mod shots, creative stylings, theme interpretations and new-to-me designs to comment on each one, but I am looking forward to resuming my early morning TPF routine this week. Today we have our building's "Ladies Lunch" at the iconic Clancy's restaurant in Uptown New Orleans and I am reprising this outfit with Reves de Corail, which has some embellishments so maybe it is on theme. (And it is blue and silver for Hanukkah!) So happy to see all your gorgeous silks and wonderful smiles!

I went to lunch today with three dear friends and fellow Italian teacher and students. We had a long and leisurely visit and lots of laughs. Here is my SOTD in my attempt at the heart knot on MaiTai’s scarf app. Animapolis and regate ring on a leather necklace. Eye pin is a handmade beaded number given to me by my good friend, Sue, who was part of our foursome.

Just threaded the regate in a better way; I like this!

Wearing Plumes en Fete this scarf Friday. I love the contrasting blue border on this one.View attachment 5264852
such a great design and in the blue against the carmel. Perfect!
I am getting my act together to post some theme pics later but yesterday was a two scarf day and I was delighted to find that the perfect choice for an al fresco evening of cocktails on the porch of the beautiful Columns hotel was my CSGM. The 12 Leopards enjoyed the live piano music and holiday lights, too! Here's a shot also of my new mannequin ;) all ready for a scarf! Reves de Corail plus accessories; mannequin (for Redbirdhermes and Nahreen!); Porch and garden of The Columns and 12 Leopards on site:

Under the Waves.jpg

Thrilled to at last have my own Under the Waves! It's a design that I've been hunting down for nearly a year.
This is meant as a Christmas present, but my husband said I could go ahead and start wearing it early

This wasn't my first or second choice cw, but it is the one that fits most easily into my existing wardrobe, so it was probably a good choice after all! I finally decided that whenever I saw a cw that I liked and was reasonably priced, I'd pounce and not second-guess myself, as I'd missed out on a couple before this one.

Gorgeous! Haven’t seen this colorway much. It looks wonderful on you against your complexion. So glad you finally got one and hubby is letting you enjoy it early :yahoo:

Twins. Never thought to wear this with black - always thought of it with a pastel top - but it looks quite stunning. Thanks for the inspiration for winter.
Nice to be twins, shrpthorn!

Beautiful, labelo!

Me with Formule Chic today. First pic is from an innocent time where I was happy and blissfully ignorant of the fact that I must have accidentally stained my scarf with fountain pen ink months ago and didn’t know it. The last two pics are of the stains. I tried to use silk cleaning spray but it’s a lost cause, sadly my beloved scarf will be a wabi sabi.
View attachment 5264685View attachment 5264686View attachment 5264687
Maybe of little comfort to you, but I think the stain kind of blends in and just makes the scarf uniquely yours :graucho:
