Beautiful scarf LKBNOLA. Glad you arrived safely to your house and that you have managed to get most organised. I could never imagine driving for >20 hours. I could also use a mannequin to practice scarf tying on.Good morning, Scarflandia! We are back in New Orleans and about 80% of our rentrée is done. And most important I am happy to report that the silks and new csgms have been unpacked and placed on their designated shelf. An as yet unnamed scarf mannequin has been assembled so I can continue my knot adventures. Too many days of beautiful mod shots, creative stylings, theme interpretations and new-to-me designs to comment on each one, but I am looking forward to resuming my early morning TPF routine this week. Today we have our building's "Ladies Lunch" at the iconic Clancy's restaurant in Uptown New Orleans and I am reprising this outfit with Reves de Corail, which has some embellishments so maybe it is on theme. (And it is blue and silver for Hanukkah!) So happy to see all your gorgeous silks and wonderful smiles!

This reminds me of Steel Magnolias:

Good to see you back, and a beautiful scarf!coming out of hiding…
Yesterday at the Gardiner Museum exihibit on Venice. The Gardiner is a gem of a museum specializing in the ceramic arts.
Wore Sous l’Egide de Mars which is sort of on theme with its decorative details
Since there have been some discussion of lace, I’ve included some pictures from the exhibit of Venetian lace, which had a stylistic impact on ceramic designs. The scalloped edges of the bowl was influenced by lace and here is a beautiful plate.
Gorgeous, Julide!
Pretty candy colours, Snausages!Coming up for air - loving everyone’s mod shots
lots of ribbons as the Muses dance in Woof Woof/La Source de Pegase

Another happy scarf, nicely paired with those stripes, Nomad! One of my favorite combinations when I want a little happy happy on. I think I only bring it out over the holidays oddly. Must be the festive in the air. There are ribbons within the desserts.View attachment 5263514
Totally not my colours - but love it, lucky you that you can wear those, Karenska!!Oh, what a pretty cw, Barbette. We are sisters. Here’s mine.

Great with black, Croisette!
As the others state, I would not have noticed... not a bad scarf to have this accident...Me with Formule Chic today. First pic is from an innocent time where I was happy and blissfully ignorant of the fact that I must have accidentally stained my scarf with fountain pen ink months ago and didn’t know it. The last two pics are of the stains. I tried to use silk cleaning spray but it’s a lost cause, sadly my beloved scarf will be a wabi sabi.

How lovely and what a fun idea to turn your scarf ring into a way of embellishing your outfit and not just your scarf @Karenska! I am glad you had fun with your fun scarf!I went to lunch today with three dear friends and fellow Italian teacher and students. We had a long and leisurely visit and lots of laughs. Here is my SOTD in my attempt at the heart knot on MaiTai’s scarf app. Animapolis and regate ring on a leather necklace. Eye pin is a handmade beaded number given to me by my good friend, Sue, who was part of our foursome.

Ah, I can only imagine your initial dismay @laurenad but as your friendly scarfie support community has pointed out, it hardly calls attention to itself as far as stains go! Ink is a bear to fool with so wabi-sabi co-existence is a good strategy!Me with Formule Chic today. First pic is from an innocent time where I was happy and blissfully ignorant of the fact that I must have accidentally stained my scarf with fountain pen ink months ago and didn’t know it. What a nice mannequin! And even more beautiful scarves!I am getting my act together to post some theme pics later but yesterday was a two scarf day and I was delighted to find that the perfect choice for an al fresco evening of cocktails on the porch of the beautiful Columns hotel was my CSGM.
