Hello, strangers! I've been MIA so long, I don't even know if you remember me. This is Beloved India CSGM (recently acquired, but longed after for a long time!) plus Hermes Orange lipstick. Unseen are the black top, dark Grey skirt and Trim II in Graphite Clemence. All for my doctor of 30+ years. Maybe my style sense is why he always says - quietly - "Always a pleasure to see you."
I have read many a post of yours. So nice to see you, and in your orange.

I hope this post to my longtime friends on here doesn’t break any rules. I feel that an explanation is in order. I believe that I posted something about my awful situation this past summer. To summarize: Because of a lesion at T10 compressing his spinal cord, my husband became a complete paraplegic in June. Several days later he had back surgery. From his admission to the VA hospital June 17 until discharge on September 7, he worked hard to improve. Discharge diagnosis was incomplete paraplegia. And he was pretty darn helpless even then!

Fast forward to now. He still needs his power wheelchair most of the time. But....he can walk a few steps, use his bathroom (no more potty chair - YAY!), get down on the floor to crawl around and return to wheelchair, plus he can drive! He has astonished and pleased all of his physical therapists. He has awed me, for sure!

So that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Wonderful to see you again! And kudos to your husband!

Thank you so very much for the update. This is the best of news! I am so happy to hear he is doing better than expected.:flowers:I hope that means we will see more of your fabulous combinations going forward!!:flowers:

Le sigh - so pretty!!

It's lovely - I see some beautiful pink in there too!

Very chic!

Beautiful cw!
Thanks so much, dear cookie.
Gorgeous silks (and wool!)

That peachy de la Mer is delicious!

 Thank you kindly LKB! it's very soft!

Thank you kindly Nomad!

oooh- this is lovely in pink! Is this one a dip dye? Is has that nice soft glow dip dye look to it.

The brights on it are magnificent rbh!

It pairs beautifully with your jacket!

Love these soft warm neutrals here (and the hem is perfect for it!)

Stunning pairings with both of these. I especially love the rust sweater with them!

This pink and red one is really special in MPC.

Beautiful textilegirl! The bright hem is a great pop!
Thanks, bunny. This is one of my favorite pinks, but it is not a dip dye. That is territory I have yet to enter! Though I am tempted :graucho:
It looks to be extremely versatile! Love the hem as well.

Gorgeous Pinks!

I've not seen this beautiful colorway modeled before. Perfect for you.

What a great colorway and I do wish I was wearing those slippers right now!
Thanks, magjes. I love this one. It was my second toe in the orange water.

Your lippie is a perfect match for that gorgeous scarf! I'd love to find this design in a CSGM. You look divine!!

Thursday in our house is Burgundy Thursday, so I’m going off topic a tad (surprise!), but just a little - after all Burgundy is French and so is Hermès! :giggle:

I’m staying orange today with two different scarves - one of which is scarf mail! :panic:
Le Bal des Oiseaux (for @labelo) with lots of orangey goodness and on several different sweaters.
(and the orange matches the Burgundy label!)
