Such luscious artistry and divine colors!

Swoon!

TY! It was not the L’Epopee I thought I’d end up with (I went for the pink, ironically; even my favorite colors have shades that don’t work)

As always so lovely in everything!

That is the best De la Mer colorway I think I’ve seen! The gav moussie knot was a simple bias fold, each tail looped through a mini mors ring then bova-knotted. Hoping your cashmeres are keeping you warm and toasty!

TY for the L’Epopee love! And back atcha with the changeant and the autumnal hairband! I see nothing wrong with chunky + moussie.

So soft and lovely!

OMG it is stunning and absolutely pops against the dark green

Beautiful and classic color combination

Excellent colors and I love the design - I find a new detail every time I look (I have a 90)

Why stop at Thursday? We need a burgundy week! Le Bal goes so well with your wardrobe and you make the PeF look like two different scarves. #skillz

Even your phone goes with the ensemble!

I’ve not seen a bad colorway of this design in any format and this one is perfect with you!

TY! Orange is a color I usually avoid but this shade works and love orange and grey together

I love brown and black together - so pretty!

Excellent colors and admire you and your husband’s strength in the face of adversity

Kicking myself for not adding this and it’s a fabulous colorway!

So simple yet with so much personality!
Thank you! For compliment and knot directions!

Hello, strangers! I've been MIA so long, I don't even know if you remember me. This is Beloved India CSGM (recently acquired, but longed after for a long time!) plus Hermes Orange lipstick. Unseen are the black top, dark Grey skirt and Trim II in Graphite Clemence. All for my doctor of 30+ years. Maybe my style sense is why he always says - quietly - "Always a pleasure to see you."
Wonderful to see your smile (& scarf)

I hope this post to my longtime friends on here doesn’t break any rules. I feel that an explanation is in order. I believe that I posted something about my awful situation this past summer. To summarize: Because of a lesion at T10 compressing his spinal cord, my husband became a complete paraplegic in June. Several days later he had back surgery. From his admission to the VA hospital June 17 until discharge on September 7, he worked hard to improve. Discharge diagnosis was incomplete paraplegia. And he was pretty darn helpless even then!

Fast forward to now. He still needs his power wheelchair most of the time. But....he can walk a few steps, use his bathroom (no more potty chair - YAY!), get down on the floor to crawl around and return to wheelchair, plus he can drive! He has astonished and pleased all of his physical therapists. He has awed me, for sure!

So that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Miraculous news!!
Sooo happy for you & DH!

haha true, totally on purpose of course

It’s a lovely color— I would love to see a photo of it flat! (If you have one) I’m so intrigued by the perforé…
This is on the white tile island, classic horse profiles. Sorry about the fold lines! Different design elements have different size perforations, the Hermes Paris font is multiple rows about the size of pin heads but so very precise and clear. Craft and skill!

To bookend my participation in this week’s theme I move from the bright orange of my gateway plumes en fete (with pink accents) to my most recent purchase, a sweet little fairytale shawl in soft autumnal tones of pink/red, mint, yellow, orange and brown, with a darling nutmeg hem. Because I am a minimalist at heart and I think less is more when it comes to CSGMs, this will likely be my only brown neutral and I couldn’t be happier with it! View attachment 5235051
This is the perfect neutral. Looks lovely on you

Thursday in our house is Burgundy Thursday, so I’m going off topic a tad (surprise!), but just a little - after all Burgundy is French and so is Hermès! :giggle:

I’m staying orange today with two different scarves - one of which is scarf mail! :panic:
Le Bal des Oiseaux (for @labelo) with lots of orangey goodness and on several different sweaters.
(and the orange matches the Burgundy label!)

Hi bobkat, I am so glad to see you! Orange lipstick of course, and that lovely Beloved India, a favourite design of mine. I quote your doctor - always a pleasure to see you!

So Pretty, the colours suit you perfectly.

Realised I’ve quite a number of orange in my silks so here are some from the archives, cause I’ve been stuck at home unwell and recuperating these couple of days :annoyed:

My very first silk scarf from years back— Les Guepards in shades of pink/peach/corals

Les Artisans d’hermes with powder pinks and OMG bright contrast hem:

The chaotic but whimsical Exposition Universelle (don’t know where my knotted pics went so here’s the scarf in full glory hehehe)

Some twilly love, starring Kyoto Marble, The Three Graces & Under the Waves (which complements all my seahorse accessories so well ). In fact most of my twillies have pink/orange in them but I have yet to wear them all…

And my favourite CSGM in a predominantly vibrant pink palette with dashes of orange:
