Wonderful combination of colors in your Tout en Quilt! Plus you look so cozy!!

Brilliant knot for this design.

I already own a Jardins de Hiver but every time you post yours I find myself searching for this delicious chocolate colorway.
I’ve been good and have not succumbed to my “wants.”

Lovely sweet colorway.

LOVE this colorway!
Thank you! This lovely cw is very versatile, it also has some beautiful blues and greens! ❤️
That Bingata is GORGEOUS! I wish I could pull off orange like you can!

Plumes en Fete was also my gateway scarf...about 15 scarves ago!

Your collection is so bright and cheery! I'm scared off by some of these intense oranges, but you pull them off so well!

Pulled out Le Bal des Oiseaux for pink week. This is another one that I haven't worn much--I like the print in the abstract, but in practice I think there's just a bit too much pink background and not enough pattern for my taste. I think a contrast hem would do a lot of work on this one. I'll try giving it another spin or two and then consider passing it on to make room for something else!
It is beautiful!
Perhaps try it with a matching pink top? That will allow the design to pop more…. I’m putting my experimenting hat on … stay tuned!
A few oranges from the archives.

All see so beautiful! I love that green hem on ELeK, your ce of LCdV is the most tempting (I often consider it), and well - you know I love your Sarasa!
(mine lives in the ‘mixed neutrals’ drawer :giggle:)
I don’t do orange. But I do have quite a few pinks.
this pink point d’orgue diOes have a few bits of orange.

:faint: All Hail the Moussie Queen! :faint:
(stunning!)
Where to start on the collex?! :faint:
TY for the AFdC love - to keep my scarf drawer from overtaking my house I had to choose between this and the framboise Tohu Bohu. The pop of black horse cemented the decision. No regrets!

Gav love!

Cousins on the dog wash! I find the wash scarves challenging to knot. But your contrast hem is divine!

TY! It was a PITA :hs:

No words :whiteflag:

*everything* is a story! I find the appreciation of things, events, conversations…everything is enhanced by context (perhaps I simply enjoy reliving the moment!)
You will have so many storm stories - the tree! The generator! That KeP is a delight!

Wednesday Addams is a wonderfully easy Halloween costume if anyone needs last minute ideas! TY for your kind words and back to you x1000!

Fabulous!

I *love* the idea of documenting outfits! I have Stylebook but haven’t opened it because I find building the library overwhelming. But if I just start with the OOTD…
I don’t have many moussies but one is a snag/stain magnet.
Is that another lavender top that seems to go with everything?!

The H apple is so tasty tho!

Ty! The Wikipedia entry for Pierre is a fascinating read and, well, I can’t resist a good pink. And your TT is indeed a perfect pink!

You are the pareo queen! I love them all!

After reading up a bit on Pierre I understand a bit more about the images, so weirdly and deliciously assembled.
And your assembly of scarves has nothing weird but everything delicious!

I keep learning that flat and folded can give such different vibes LOL a lesson I appear to learn on the regular! I do love wearing busy scarves and I always feel a bit bad saying goodbye to beauties I don’t wear. Marie Kondo is genius - saying thank you before moving to the re-home pile helps

We are running on generator power due to the Nor'easter affecting all of the Massachusetts (and New England). Here's a pink I wanted to take new pix of, but for now, one of my beloved (and only) 140 silk. A hurried mod shot of Kelly-en-Perles from last summer:

this is so very pretty in pink on you.
Today wearing my Kachinas wash. I was complaining about the wash prices but this actually is my second most worn scarf over the last 941 days (which is how long i’ve consecutively logged my outfits in stylebook). i think it is precisely because i don’t love love it and wouldn’t be bummed out of it got stained i wear it a lot around the house and on casual days.

on the opposite end is my one of two moussies. I am so scared of ruining them
that I tend to not wear them much (15 times) and i‘m also not good at styling it.

Wearing my H gateway scarf today. Purchased a classic H orange scarf at first, only thinking I would buy one scarf. Such a pure innocent thought!
love this styling. Always love your styling
After a long multiquote, my SOTD, just the right tone of pink for me.

so so pretty in pink.
Another crossover from last week to this week. I finally completed my "cotton collection" of giant cotton scarves. I looked for YEARS for this black multi Astrologie/Dies et Hore (lots of orange detailing here, and the little Petite H ?? charm necklace is hot pink Ivresse de l'Infini)

bals look lovely on you. I feel the exact same way. I also love the print but when I purchased one it just fell flat for me. Though time and time again I see it on others ( like you and pirula) and I think “I want one” Haha. And agree with you and lkb that a contrast hem might have amped it up to more excitability.

@lanit There were too many to count that I just loved. You really know your colors and what looks amazing on you. I am envious. I can’t pick a favorite. They all look so good on you. @Living.la.vida.fifi I particularly loved your carnaval. Perfect autumn colors. @MAGJES amazing pics. I loved loved your tapis des selles. So stunning in thst colorway. It actually reminds me a wee bit of licorne?? The way the designs are and colors in them. @Cookiefiend your astrologie is amazing. And the way your tied it! Also the Jardin in brown and orange. Similar in great colors to fifis carnaval I love. Amazing ladies! Such FUN eye candy for the rest of us!

Those oranges really are fabulous on you! I’m swooning over that Jardin mousse, just gorgeous

To bookend my participation in this week’s theme I move from the bright orange of my gateway plumes en fete (with pink accents) to my most recent purchase, a sweet little fairytale shawl in soft autumnal tones of pink/red, mint, yellow, orange and brown, with a darling nutmeg hem. Because I am a minimalist at heart and I think less is more when it comes to CSGMs, this will likely be my only brown neutral and I couldn’t be happier with it! 6AF592FF-71A8-4A12-A880-08F9102B78AC.jpeg

Thursday in our house is Burgundy Thursday, so I’m going off topic a tad (surprise!), but just a little - after all Burgundy is French and so is Hermès! :giggle:

Le sigh - so pretty!!
I finally found Alice Shirley's Under the Waves in brand new with tags condition, however it was a mousseline, and it was very, very orange. I got it anyway. It is perfect for Orange Week and I love the light, airy feel of silk chiffon. Still looking for my 90....

SOTD is Under the Waves mousseline, CW08 in orange/turquoise/vert.

One of my favorite designs ever and this is a wonderful CW!

I’ve always wanted one but now I know that it MUST be this one… it is marvelous!

Such a fresh and wonderful CW, and the closest IMO to the amazing Omotesando edition

Welcome! You look amazing! Such a beautiful look

All are simply wonderful, but I must say that I love the Artisans and Sintra on you

Such fabulous pops of color, especially the Loti which you have made me appreciate, and the Source de Pegase is amazing

Such spectacular orange silks! Adore the Point d’Orgue and Temari

This was my fav CW of this design although it was never issued in the 90 format which I wanted. I finally ended up with the blue 90 but must say this was the best CW, and the white hem seals the deal

Oh, this I most surely know… I consulted your pics a few times before purchasing mine so you were quite influential and inspirational

So happy you chose the pink Duo… made for you!

Well, this one is perfect for the week with its mix of orange and pink… I was planning on sharing mine as well… one of the most striking Samourais!

Oooh, I hope all is back to normal now! KeP is fabulous… Ties so beautifully! And it’s delicious in this CW

Oooh, I’ve never thought of wearing mine with white, but now I must!

Yes, orange is one of the best colors on you! I adore this CW of Bingata as the design elements stand out so well and brightly… The ZP moussie is beautiful beyond words… I’ve always thought that Kachinas shines in the orange tonalities and you’re making me go in for a second Grand Theatre! Love, love this citrusy CW

What an amazing combo of pink and yellow!

I’ve always loved that Kachinas on you as I love the Maharani on you as well… I feel that Kermit Oliver’s designs are work so well in the wash version! And the Iris Arc en Ciel is a masterpice! A moussie design at the top of my coveted Grail list… Sigh…

Oooh, you have my favorite CW! I own two marvelous CWs of this masterpiece but yours is one I’ve always coveted

Aaaah! The best Plumes CW IMO

You always make me smile, dear Cookie… You’re right that that orange hem on Jardins d’Hiver is a star on its own… The best autumnal silk! And, the BdG en Finesse is amazing! Is this a 90 or giant format?

Oh, so lovely!

Aaaah, love them all! The Astrologie is showstopping! And, are the Les Cles and Tout en Quilt both cotton pareos? I need lessons from you on how to tame mine

Love this look!
will let you know if I ever need a new home for it!
