Wait, ExLenK -Briefly? All beautiful on you, though I think you rock Kachinas Fifi!

So glad you ended up with the orange Plumes! And you make me regret not getting the pink and aqua Samourais twill. Though I have the CSGM is consolation prize.

This is the best colorway of Dames Blacnhe.

Thank you MAGJES! Well- I now have to put the little cute gav on hold because my Sales Goggles (copyright @Cookiefiend ) went in to overdrive yesterday....
 Sales goggles! And thank you for the compliment @bunnycat!
Wearing my beautiful Duo Cosmique today with pinks and oranges. The colours are much more vibrant in reality. Have a lovely day everyone. View attachment 5233361View attachment 5233364
This Duo is fantastic on you @hotgalaxy!! And you look so delighted to e wearing it!
I've never posted before but love following along with the weekly theme. I have lots of pink and orange silk I had planned to quietly wear this week but yesterday I received my first CSGM with some of both colors and I had to wear it and learn to picture and share today! Les 12 Leopards
This is fantastic with your coat @Barbette! I have the vivid blue one and I love it-- my first CSGM as well. I hope you will come back and post more often!
Not a lot of orange in my collection, but pink is fairly well represented, usually as an accent color.

Some archival photos:

Jardin a Sintra is more raspberry, but I consider that a pink.
Same with Wild Singapore, which also has a sort of orangey red border. I think I might rehome this one--I love the pattern, but never reach for it, something about the color palette is hard for me. Unfortunately, this was a scarf that was produced in only 3 regular colorways (presumably due to covid?), and none was quite perfect. I'd love the special edition cw, but that's an expensive pipe dream, I think!

Beautiful @labelo! Twins on Canadian Wild and just adore that cw of Sintra-- gorgeous.
If only Bassets and its wonderful hem were spaniels…

I’d originally gotten the one with hot and pastel pinks but looked corpse-like in it. I’m always surprised when I find softer colors that work. Now if only Mr Bajtlik would add a spaniel companion to Kluska (who IIRC is a corgi?)

ty! I usually recall a scarf’s provenance and the scarf becomes infused with the memories. This was at the temporary Dallas location during their remodel and the natural light was so much better at the temp location. This was one of those ‘omg a soft color!’ moments

Mwah!:winkiss: This is one of those rare scarves that I can’t recall where/when I got it. I vividly recall its first outing in 2007 - thrown unexpectedly into a training sesh with no warning/prep. Was glad I was well-scarved that day to distract from my nerves

TY! This was my first boutique purchase after 3 years residing primarily on Ban Island. Jan Bajtlik pulled me out of scarf retirement!

TY! If not for this group I would have no clue what to do with it. I fell in love with the purple/blue horse but the hem/border didn’t make sense to me. The scales have fallen from my eyes!
I love your stories @Snausages!
Ah! I was wondering! Thank you for posting the flat image! IIRC this was one of Hermes’ first scarf designs?
Perhaps even the first? I hope one of the historians/mistresses will further our education on this @Snausages. I believe it was a 70 issued for the 70th anniversary of producnig carres, so it makes sense...
Yesterday I posted my soft pinks. Dialing it to 11 today

Mountain Zebra, Woof Woof (Source de la Pegase with Faceties dogs), Au Fil du Carre CSGM, Pierre Loti, Awooooo! with its hot pink hem, Brides Rebelle GM moussie, and Colliers et Chiens twilly with its pink dots

I don’t know what I was doing yesterday but I do know my scarf has a life of its own and won’t yield in my hands…

Twins on this FoSA-- love this so much. But I truly love your shawls! Just gorgeous on you @lanit. One so dramatic and one softer and both lovely! Also your new DC is so very pretty...
Wonderful KenP dear and sorry to read about your power out.it has become a way of life here in our area. Stay safe and keep warm in your shawls!
Thank you @lanit! For us too, alas, here and in New Orleans! But yes, at least I have the generator, a warm shawl, coffee and the beautiful eye candy from y'all! One can hardly complain...all things considered

Today wearing my Kachinas wash. I was complaining about the wash prices but this actually is my second most worn scarf over the last 941 days (which is how long i’ve consecutively logged my outfits in stylebook). i think it is precisely because i don’t love love it and wouldn’t be bummed out of it got stained i wear it a lot around the house and on casual days.

on the opposite end is my one of two moussies. I am so scared of ruining them
that I tend to not wear them much (15 times) and i‘m also not good at styling it.

Is that iris a mousseline or a 90? Love it either way!
