Pink is well represented in my scarf drawer; from the archives I give you soft pinks: Tapis Persan 140, Shackleton, the Viennese Carriage Wheel with the long title, Appaloosa Des Steppes, Exposition Universelle and a tiny bit of dusty rose/mauve in Animapolis
View attachment 5232591

I still go googley-eyed for Appaloosa des Steppes!

Sharing what is quite possibly my favorite 70 in beautiful tones of pink and brown or what H calls "prune"--

This is the best colorway of Dames Blacnhe.

Gorgeous, BC!

Thank you orchard!

no makeup day today, so some archive shots. I am snuggling up in my bingata, today with a grey cashmere cardi and leggins but I loved how it pairs with purple (very pregnant archive shot).

also was wearing my tout en quilt for our daily stroll. it's one of my "washed" scarves (without being extra expensive "Wash", it's just... well, been washed. anyone else think the price for Wash scarves is excessive??)
View attachment 5233073

You look fantastic! (And yes- the price of washed silk is really too excessive....)

Introducing my orange Les Artisans d'Hermes. CW07, orange/ciel/fuchsia. This is a lot of orange. There are even a few pink bits, including the motorcycle fender.

View attachment 5233076

Congrats on this one twin!

Your top with Duo is just perfect! We are twins on the Kantha....I've not tried to wear mine with pink but need to make a note of that as it looks really amazing.

Twins on the gav and the Triangle! They both look great with black. Love the color of the little cutie that is on the way!

This colorway is stunning!

Thank you MAGJES! Well- I now have to put the little cute gav on hold because my Sales Goggles (copyright @Cookiefiend ) went in to overdrive yesterday....

A few Orange + Pink Scarves.
My Persian “Baby” made an appearance in my last photo! She’s quite tiny for an adult cat even though she is 10 years old.

What was Forrest Gump’s email password?

1forrest1

:roflmfao: Nooooooooo! Staaaahp! (But I do love that orange hem!)

Got a bit lost between being on call, having to give several (different) talks in very different timezones during this and next month (even 2 live ones). Julide and Cookie, thank you so much for hosting last week and this one. I enjoyed the phantastic array of complete sets of wonderful scarves, Croisette being in Paris, your twins and triplets and now pinks and oranges! :hugs:So much to see!
Scarf of yesterday was Laboratoire du temps, with its orange accents, and SOTD Duo cosmique, with a photo showing it flat for @Living.la.vida.fifi. it is unusually bright for me, but I love it.

That Under the Waves is sooooo delicious!

Orange Tapis Persans, the right color for this warm and sunny autumn day.

Gorgeous in those marvelously saturated colors!

Not a lot of orange in my collection, but pink is fairly well represented, usually as an accent color.

Jardin a Sintra is more raspberry, but I consider that a pink.
Same with Wild Singapore, which also has a sort of orangey red border. I think I might rehome this one--I love the pattern, but never reach for it, something about the color palette is hard for me. Unfortunately, this was a scarf that was produced in only 3 regular colorways (presumably due to covid?), and none was quite perfect. I'd love the special edition cw, but that's an expensive pipe dream, I think!

Of course these are important designs for you… As a dog lover, I relate! They are are so fab!

Ha! What a great and fun intro, Cookie! And, such amazing silks, especially the Bal des Bulles moussie

All so awesome!

That special edition is gorgeous… But, I must say that the green CW is spectacular on you

Oooh i love how you did this! So creative and stunning!

What a beautiful post featuring two if my favorite things: flowers and scarves!

Oooh! So beautiful! Though 8 have multiples of Jungle Love, I do not own this pink CW which remains my favorite

Oh, these are great and such chic and spunky knots! And I’ve tried to make the rando knot a few times but with terrible results… I must keep on trying

Love them both, especially the Beloved India

Love them on you, and it’s auch an awesome idea to frame the Nano… I’ve been thinking of doing this myself

This is magnificent! What an amazing color combo!

Both are truly amazing. I adore that Kantha and that knot is spectacular

You look adorable! And, once again, I disagree with you as I feel this scarf looks amazing on you

All three are glorious!

Such a beauty!

Gaaaah! A work of art

This is such a fabulous CW! And the perfect scarf for the week, blending both colors!

You always make me smile, Cookie! And, also drool! Both of these are so different yet amazing

An amaZing parade of silks
If only Bassets and its wonderful hem were spaniels…
I adore your black hemmed Animapolis and the moussie is so very beautiful @Karenska!

It is just so gorgeous @Redbirdhermes -- I am delighted to be your twin. One of two moussies I own and perfectly on point for this week! I feel so very very fortunate to have found one...

 Funny @sonozen but your scarf is just lovely-- like an orange creamsicle-- dessert-like as you say.

Both scarfs are great-- such different moods of orange! I agree with Snausages that it looks unexpectedly lovely with grey. But your pun @Cookiefiend, though terrible, made me LOL, but then I am a cheap date, when it comes to humor...

Thank you @bunnycat!

What a very lucky (and beautiful) find @Hélènecarré!

Yes! @turfnsurf! It could be like a truly chaotic and wacky version of J'aime Mon Carre...

This is the extent of my organizing. Just pin and save...but it works!

So helpful to know about, though truth be told I am better at this in theory than in practice-- I must have all sorts of such things at half-mast; begun with great intentions but not-so-great execution and really not-so-great follow through...This sounds promising though @Nomad!

I just love these all, @Snausages but that EU with pink hem is so pretty! Don't recall seeing it before. Of course your Shackleton and Tapis are stellar and my now twin Appaloosa ;)

:ty: so much! Both pinks are variations on Mai Tai's Camellia knot from the Scarf Art App.

My gosh-- what a stunning array @Living.la.vida.fifi! They ll look amazing on you, but personally I adore your bright L'Arbre du Vent and your JL shawl-- possibly because the one combines pink and yellow (a favorite combo of mine) and you have styled the LAdV with that gorgeous buttery yellow top...
I’d originally gotten the one with hot and pastel pinks but looked corpse-like in it. I’m always surprised when I find softer colors that work. Now if only Mr Bajtlik would add a spaniel companion to Kluska (who IIRC is a corgi?)
Thank you - both for your kind words and the organizing tips! I love learning new ways to organize!
I do like Stylebook, but it does take some time to get started…. I’ve been using it since 2017 and set it up while Mr Cookie watched 3 minutes of everything. :giggle: I use Goodreads for my books, it has prevented me from buying duplicates!
JdS is an unusual scarf, like a woodcutting in some ways because of the ‘roughness’. Each time I look at it, I see something new!

Lovely! I ❤ your Tapis Persan!

Thank you sweet Fifi!

Woo hoo!!! So much to love here! Your orange PeF is stunning, I covet your pink Kachinas ❤, and it makes me smile to be your twin with the lovely PdS! :hugs:
ty! I usually recall a scarf’s provenance and the scarf becomes infused with the memories. This was at the temporary Dallas location during their remodel and the natural light was so much better at the temp location. This was one of those ‘omg a soft color!’ moments
Fabulous collex, my fav is your pink Shackleton
Mwah!:winkiss: This is one of those rare scarves that I can’t recall where/when I got it. I vividly recall its first outing in 2007 - thrown unexpectedly into a training sesh with no warning/prep. Was glad I was well-scarved that day to distract from my nerves
Plumes en Fete in orange is just so stunning tied! I'm still dying for your JL CSGM!

Thank you! I will check this out.

Your EU is so pretty! I've not seen one close up and it's so lovely.

How beautiful! These colors work so well together!
TY! This was my first boutique purchase after 3 years residing primarily on Ban Island. Jan Bajtlik pulled me out of scarf retirement!
I still go googley-eyed for Appaloosa des Steppes!

TY! If not for this group I would have no clue what to do with it. I fell in love with the purple/blue horse but the hem/border didn’t make sense to me. The scales have fallen from my eyes!

View attachment 5233025
:ty: It is getting there (with the help/enablement of TPF)...I have only two languishing in CCP...A lifelong project, for sure...

Beautiful shawl! Looks wonderful on you and I agree @blydia , on wash scarfs. I have two and while, I like the feel, the added cost feels unnecessary and excessive when you can just wash them yourself with the Laundress products...

It is beautiful @Redbirdhermes -- I like how the soft blue of your top "quiets" the orange just enough...

TIA @Hélènecarré! That is a very useful post from Mai Tai.

Thank you, @MAGJES! I love me some stripes and I have always loved pink and (some) reds together!

Thank you! I like the unusual mix and it feels a bit old fashioned, which suits the design...

Excellent oranges, pinks, sweaters and kitty photobomb @MAGJES! The CU is stunning.

Congratulations @Redbirdhermes -- what beautiful blues and greens together.

GROAN...for the pun-- the silks are amazing. I love your BdG bandana -- I just got this season's "vermilion" one and it is really orange-- not red at all. Twins (on account of you) on this Exposition Universelle @Cookiefiend! It is a real chameleon color-wise...

Very beautiful both @Agrume! I love your bright and splashy Duo! The pink corner is quite eye-catching and fun.

Thank you @Living.la.vida.fifi! This is the 70 of Jeu d'Omnibus et Dames Blanches. The 70 edition for the 70th anniversary. Here it is flat for @Nomad as well, who was asking. I think it is so charming...

I've never posted before but love following along with the weekly theme. I have lots of pink and orange silk I had planned to quietly wear this week but yesterday I received my first CSGM with some of both colors and I had to wear it and learn to picture and share today! Les 12 Leopards
