I love this with gray, you look snuggly warm!
Your moussie collection is a wonder :hbeat::loveeyes:!
Thank you sweetheart! :hugs:
(it pales in comparison to many others here, but it does make me happy ❤️)

Orange Tapis Persans, the right color for this warm and sunny autumn day.
One of my favorite designs ever and this is a wonderful CW!

:ty: It is getting there (with the help/enablement of TPF)...I have only two languishing in CCP...A lifelong project, for sure...

Beautiful shawl! Looks wonderful on you and I agree @blydia , on wash scarfs. I have two and while, I like the feel, the added cost feels unnecessary and excessive when you can just wash them yourself with the Laundress products...

It is beautiful @Redbirdhermes -- I like how the soft blue of your top "quiets" the orange just enough...

TIA @Hélènecarré! That is a very useful post from Mai Tai.

Thank you, @MAGJES! I love me some stripes and I have always loved pink and (some) reds together!

Thank you! I like the unusual mix and it feels a bit old fashioned, which suits the design...

Excellent oranges, pinks, sweaters and kitty photobomb @MAGJES! The CU is stunning.

Congratulations @Redbirdhermes -- what beautiful blues and greens together.

GROAN...for the pun-- the silks are amazing. I love your BdG bandana -- I just got this season's "vermilion" one and it is really orange-- not red at all. Twins (on account of you) on this Exposition Universelle @Cookiefiend! It is a real chameleon color-wise...

Very beautiful both @Agrume! I love your bright and splashy Duo! The pink corner is quite eye-catching and fun.

Thank you @Living.la.vida.fifi! This is the 70 of Jeu d'Omnibus et Dames Blanches. The 70 edition for the 70th anniversary. Here it is flat for @Nomad as well, who was asking. I think it is so charming...

Wearing my beautiful Duo Cosmique today with pinks and oranges. The colours are much more vibrant in reality. Have a lovely day everyone. View attachment 5233361View attachment 5233364
Such a fresh and wonderful CW, and the closest IMO to the amazing Omotesando edition

I've never posted before but love following along with the weekly theme. I have lots of pink and orange silk I had planned to quietly wear this week but yesterday I received my first CSGM with some of both colors and I had to wear it and learn to picture and share today! Les 12 Leopards
Welcome! You look amazing! Such a beautiful look

Not a lot of orange in my collection, but pink is fairly well represented, usually as an accent color.

Jardin a Sintra is more raspberry, but I consider that a pink.
Same with Wild Singapore, which also has a sort of orangey red border. I think I might rehome this one--I love the pattern, but never reach for it, something about the color palette is hard for me. Unfortunately, this was a scarf that was produced in only 3 regular colorways (presumably due to covid?), and none was quite perfect. I'd love the special edition cw, but that's an expensive pipe dream, I think!

All are simply wonderful, but I must say that I love the Artisans and Sintra on you

This was my fav CW of this design although it was never issued in the 90 format which I wanted. I finally ended up with the blue 90 but must say this was the best CW, and the white hem seals the deal

Twins with you on the voie lactee stole, which as a changeante is both pink and orange
Oh, this I most surely know… I consulted your pics a few times before purchasing mine so you were quite influential and inspirational

I missed out on multiples week but saw that Samourais, Phoenix and many of my favorites stunningly represented! I initially had a lot of pinks in my scarf chest, but then the blues took over. HAPPILY they are slowly creeping back in again!

We are running on generator power due to the Nor'easter affecting all of the Massachusetts (and New England). Here's a pink I wanted to take new pix of, but for now, one of my beloved (and only) 140 silk. A hurried mod shot of Kelly-en-Perles from last summer:

Thanks fifi! These are the giant cotton scarves they did one year. I think there were 4 designs total. ??? They are 140x140 so kind of like pareo but not quite. For the pareos, I just tend to fold them on the diagonal, and wrap them a couple of times, sometimes tying the ends around the floof in the center front to tame it.

Pulled out Le Bal des Oiseaux for pink week. This is another one that I haven't worn much--I like the print in the abstract, but in practice I think there's just a bit too much pink background and not enough pattern for my taste. I think a contrast hem would do a lot of work on this one. I'll try giving it another spin or two and then consider passing it on to make room for something else!

Collier et Chiens washed scarf butchered by me (when all I wanted to do is to showcase those adorable dogs… :crybaby:):

Cousins on the dog wash! I find the wash scarves challenging to knot. But your contrast hem is divine!
Thank you FIfi!:flowers:

Wow purple is definitely your color! :flowers:

Hi twin! Love this with your pendant!!:flowers:

:lol:Pun-tastic!!

Thank you kindly Agrume.:flowers: And many thanks for sharing this special edition. So so dreamy. Le:girlsigh:

TY! It was a PITA :hs:
How could I not share this beauty in all it's silky glory? As soon as I saw it I knew that I had to add this to my little collection of scarves Clair de lune a/w 2021. Have a lovely day everyone:blush:View attachment 5234338View attachment 5234339
I missed out on multiples week but saw that Samourais, Phoenix and many of my favorites stunningly represented! I initially had a lot of pinks in my scarf chest, but then the blues took over. HAPPILY they are slowly creeping back in again!

No words :whiteflag:
 Sales goggles! And thank you for the compliment @bunnycat!

This Duo is fantastic on you @hotgalaxy!! And you look so delighted to e wearing it!

This is fantastic with your coat @Barbette! I have the vivid blue one and I love it-- my first CSGM as well. I hope you will come back and post more often!

Beautiful @labelo! Twins on Canadian Wild and just adore that cw of Sintra-- gorgeous.

I love your stories @Snausages!

Perhaps even the first? I hope one of the historians/mistresses will further our education on this @Snausages. I believe it was a 70 issued for the 70th anniversary of producnig carres, so it makes sense...

Several favorites in this collage @Snausages (and I am still going to try that multiple friendship knot!).

All of these are beautiful @MAGJES-- adore that soft Acte III but you are my Pierre Marie bible! You have so many beauties...

Adorable gav @Nomad! Beautiful cw...you always find the best ones!

It is hard to highlight the dogs @sonozen-- mine are always upside down or sideways...

Twins on this FoSA-- love this so much. But I truly love your shawls! Just gorgeous on you @lanit. One so dramatic and one softer and both lovely! Also your new DC is so very pretty...

Thank you @lanit! For us too, alas, here and in New Orleans! But yes, at least I have the generator, a warm shawl, coffee and the beautiful eye candy from y'all! One can hardly complain...all things considered
We are running on generator power due to the Nor'easter affecting all of the Massachusetts (and New England). Here's a pink I wanted to take new pix of, but for now, one of my beloved (and only) 140 silk. A hurried mod shot of Kelly-en-Perles from last summer:

Using the like button and popping on briefly (hoping internet comes back soon besides power!) to post Brides de Gala en Finesse. This one is so wrinkly always but it sure has pink and orange covered!
View attachment 5233946
*everything* is a story! I find the appreciation of things, events, conversations…everything is enhanced by context (perhaps I simply enjoy reliving the moment!)
You will have so many storm stories - the tree! The generator! That KeP is a delight!
Happy Wednesday!

Put some pillows down (you might have to share them with Cookie tho), so you don’t hurt yourself! I have plenty more punny puns on the way!

Woo hoo!!! Amazing pinks! I also spot some fabulous oranges too!

yowza - this little cutie packs a lot of punch! ❤

You did a great job, and ohmigosh - that hem! :faint:

Fabulous!
Today wearing my Kachinas wash. I was complaining about the wash prices but this actually is my second most worn scarf over the last 941 days (which is how long i’ve consecutively logged my outfits in stylebook). i think it is precisely because i don’t love love it and wouldn’t be bummed out of it got stained i wear it a lot around the house and on casual days.
View attachment 5233911View attachment 5233914
on the opposite end is my one of two moussies. I am so scared of ruining them
that I tend to not wear them much (15 times) and i‘m also not good at styling it.

I *love* the idea of documenting outfits! I have Stylebook but haven’t opened it because I find building the library overwhelming. But if I just start with the OOTD…
I don’t have many moussies but one is a snag/stain magnet.
Is that another lavender top that seems to go with everything?!

Wearing my H gateway scarf today. Purchased a classic H orange scarf at first, only thinking I would buy one scarf. Such a pure innocent thought!
The H apple is so tasty tho!
Thank you, Cookie, Fifi, LKBNOLA, Bunnycat and Julide, for your compliments, and thank you for the loves and likes! :flowers:

I adore this ELEK±

Beautiful and indeed perfect for autumn!

It's a great cw!

Welcome, Barbette!

Fabulous examples, and twins on the Artisans, I considered it for today, too. I love the way you tied it, Labelo!

This Pierre Loti is so pink, lovely!

You have the most wonderful CSGMs, Magjes - twins on L'Art du Temari.

Very cute with this colour mix!

You succeeded!!

the incarnation of pastel colours, LKBNOLA! perfect on white, and hope your electricity is back on.

This ZP mousseline is phantasmic, so bright!

I recognise this... and share the mousseline styling issue. you look great.

Hm, I thought the same some time ago. What a great scarf to start!

wonderful, also the sweater pairings highlighting the right colours, Cookie!
After a long multiquote, my SOTD, just the right tone of pink for me.

Ty! The Wikipedia entry for Pierre is a fascinating read and, well, I can’t resist a good pink. And your TT is indeed a perfect pink!
Another crossover from last week to this week. I finally completed my "cotton collection" of giant cotton scarves. I looked for YEARS for this black multi Astrologie/Dies et Hore (lots of orange detailing here, and the little Petite H ?? charm necklace is hot pink Ivresse de l'Infini)

You are the pareo queen! I love them all!
One of my favorite designs ever and this is a wonderful CW!

I’ve always wanted one but now I know that it MUST be this one… it is marvelous!

Such a fresh and wonderful CW, and the closest IMO to the amazing Omotesando edition

Welcome! You look amazing! Such a beautiful look

All are simply wonderful, but I must say that I love the Artisans and Sintra on you

Such fabulous pops of color, especially the Loti which you have made me appreciate, and the Source de Pegase is amazing

Such spectacular orange silks! Adore the Point d’Orgue and Temari

This was my fav CW of this design although it was never issued in the 90 format which I wanted. I finally ended up with the blue 90 but must say this was the best CW, and the white hem seals the deal

Oh, this I most surely know… I consulted your pics a few times before purchasing mine so you were quite influential and inspirational

So happy you chose the pink Duo… made for you!

Well, this one is perfect for the week with its mix of orange and pink… I was planning on sharing mine as well… one of the most striking Samourais!

Oooh, I hope all is back to normal now! KeP is fabulous… Ties so beautifully! And it’s delicious in this CW

Oooh, I’ve never thought of wearing mine with white, but now I must!

Yes, orange is one of the best colors on you! I adore this CW of Bingata as the design elements stand out so well and brightly… The ZP moussie is beautiful beyond words… I’ve always thought that Kachinas shines in the orange tonalities and you’re making me go in for a second Grand Theatre! Love, love this citrusy CW

What an amazing combo of pink and yellow!

I’ve always loved that Kachinas on you as I love the Maharani on you as well… I feel that Kermit Oliver’s designs are work so well in the wash version! And the Iris Arc en Ciel is a masterpice! A moussie design at the top of my coveted Grail list… Sigh…

Oooh, you have my favorite CW! I own two marvelous CWs of this masterpiece but yours is one I’ve always coveted

Aaaah! The best Plumes CW IMO

You always make me smile, dear Cookie… You’re right that that orange hem on Jardins d’Hiver is a star on its own… The best autumnal silk! And, the BdG en Finesse is amazing! Is this a 90 or giant format?

Oh, so lovely!

Aaaah, love them all! The Astrologie is showstopping! And, are the Les Cles and Tout en Quilt both cotton pareos? I need lessons from you on how to tame mine

After reading up a bit on Pierre I understand a bit more about the images, so weirdly and deliciously assembled.
And your assembly of scarves has nothing weird but everything delicious!
That Bingata is GORGEOUS! I wish I could pull off orange like you can!

Plumes en Fete was also my gateway scarf...about 15 scarves ago!

Your collection is so bright and cheery! I'm scared off by some of these intense oranges, but you pull them off so well!

View attachment 5234403
Pulled out Le Bal des Oiseaux for pink week. This is another one that I haven't worn much--I like the print in the abstract, but in practice I think there's just a bit too much pink background and not enough pattern for my taste. I think a contrast hem would do a lot of work on this one. I'll try giving it another spin or two and then consider passing it on to make room for something else!
I keep learning that flat and folded can give such different vibes LOL a lesson I appear to learn on the regular! I do love wearing busy scarves and I always feel a bit bad saying goodbye to beauties I don’t wear. Marie Kondo is genius - saying thank you before moving to the re-home pile helps
