And, a CSGM I searched for far and wide specifically in this CW, and which remains one of my favorite shawls of all time: L’Arbre de Vie

Absolutely stunning!!A pink scarf that has an orange changeant effect, my scarf of the day, Quintessence mousseline.

Well done!!Going for the best of both worlds:
Soft creamy orange with a dash of subtle pale pink, brings to mind a pretty dessert— Acte III, Scene I, La Clairiere!
This is the most muted of scarves I own and I do so love it for warm days!
(Since I feel like a lazy ass today I’ve decided to make Bottom the star of the day…)

This is as close as I get to pink and orange in one scarf in my collection. Have you done your Carre Yoga today? (do check out the video toward the bottom of the page. omg!)

You make glass beads?! Lamp work? So glad it was not scarf mail that was taken (though some folks have no idea their worth)
You do zebra so well! Heehee and if you want to rehome that gav….
Theme offering (Kantha) and actual SOTD (new scarf + new stripes=) to cheer up a rainy day. It does have a bit of orange in it!

Thank you! It's very ORANGE!!
These two are so fun together!
<madly taking note!>
bwahahahaha - it's terrible poetry, but I have fun!
(sorry about y'all...)
Gorgeous pink on you, and the nano is adorbs!
This is so fun - the green leopard is my favorite!
Carre yoga!?!
Le sigh - both are beautiful!
Beautiful collection @Foxy trini!
The scarf "undertow" of the seasonal threads-- great metaphor @xincinsin!! (She says, not waving but drowning...)
I love that RdE on you @Redbirdhermes and cannot wait to see your new scarf mail-- especially your Pytheas!
This is so beautiful! What a marvelous shade of dusty rose on flowers and scarfs @Julide! I hope you press the roses or find another way to keep them around...(also, gorgeous scarf ring!)
Always so patient and wise @Julide! Your posts are scarf sedatives for over-excitable newbies like me...
Just all so pink-alicious @orchard! Really beautiful-- that JL and that La Danse are
Always trying to improve my score on that "H Math" @MAGJES!
So lovely @blydia. I love browns and pinks together... and the gav is soooo cute.
Thank you!!! Still chuckling here...I am famously bad at math word problems @Cookiefiend. I shall have to remember that purple hat is always the correct answer...
@textilegirl-- both look great on you-- would love a larger pic!!!
dear @bunnycat!
I just adore this combination. Truly inspired...
@Snausages, that would be fun! And a good solution to the "alas, only one neck" problem!
I love this dazzle of zebras-- the GT and gav look wonderful on you and I too have been eyeing that nano-- can't wait to see it (framed, on or flat). Sorry to hear about your mail mishap. Our mailbox is at the end of a gravel private road and I've had my share of beach parking lot folks "help" themeselves to a package (but usually amazon or target so I hope they enjoy their detergent or paper towels...)
Absolutely gorgeous on you @Langsam. And that video left me speechless...
Yes, thank you @Snausages! I love Kantha (actually have two but one is on loan to DD) and yes, that is Duo in the dark blue cw...
Todays orange pink is coupons.
I honestly thought I‘d reach for this more, but I realize that it’s not a forever scarf for me. I don’t have a CCP like @LKBNOLA but I do have scarf hunger games (or squid games I guess, I have seen neither because I‘m too sensitive for dystopian stuff)
anyways. this scarf competes with my plumes and plumes wins every time so it is considered a funding scarf now.

also I bought some fitting mom jeans.it’s hard enough to lose the weight so I don’t have to feel bad about myself only wearing maternity jeans which I despised (and i frankly didn’t really wear hence only skirt outfits…)
Hello to everyone and thank you ladies for all your gorgeous posts which are so inspiring and a daily eye candy!
Here is my humble contribution to the pink-orange theme this week:

Today’s terrible pun:
Which knight invented King Arthur’s Round Table?
Sir Cumference!
Both designs "Grand Fonds" and "Grand Fonds II" or "Grand Fonds Détail" came in MdS PM, although the "Détail" one seems to be more rare. "Grand Fonds II" was a very lucky find on a French consignment website. It's lovely on you (though I think everything is anyway), and a delightful colorway.... but if your heart doesn't love it? Buh-bye!
Oh my... they're all gorgeous! I didn't know GF came in a moussie PM...
(such a great size and oh this pink!)
Adorable penguins showing off today!
And it's beautiful!
Have you gotten more comfortable with it?
I take screenshots & have a knot idea page in Notes on my iPhone (allows for mix of pics and text)Thank you. The blue/pink/silver is my favorite!
I need to find a way to organize all these knot tutorials here on tpf, insta, apps, pinterest, etc - into just one place.
I can never find a single one when I am in a hurry and then default to a simple bias fold knot.
I heard rumors of an insurrection of silks. They felt slighted and tired of waiting. They rose up and shoved their way to the front of a scarf drawer leaving mayhem in their wake. They even disregarded the hierarchy of hems! The venerable status of their elders held no sway over their revolutionary aspirations and antics. They had a List of Demands. Compromise was Not an Option. They did not care that there was but one neck and 24 hours in a day! It was the talk of Scarflandia what happened there...
Really?!? I didn’t know you could put pictures into notes!I take screenshots & have a knot idea page in Notes on my iPhone (allows for mix of pics and text)

magjes and cookie @turfnsurf I use Airtable app for all my collections. It’s cloud based so I never lose the info and can work from any device, and the app is super easy. I have a section for knots that I am constantly adding screenshots to And links. Super easy to organize anything in there. I have a table for all my Hermes scarves, knots, wishlist. I also do camping equipment, us travel, world travel, local travel. Oh! I have all my books, paper and audio in one table . I have bought many duplicates in my library haha. Have a table for daughters clothes for when I am shopping for her. I know many use Stylebook. But my mind works better w Airtable and I care less about styling than simply the info. But plan to dive into Stylebook at some point.Really?!? I didn’t know you could put pictures into notes!
Gonna try this!
(I have a pinterest page I keep scarf screenshots in)
