Todays orange pink is coupons.
I honestly thought I‘d reach for this more, but I realize that it’s not a forever scarf for me. I don’t have a CCP like @LKBNOLA but I do have scarf hunger games (or squid games I guess, I have seen neither because I‘m too sensitive for dystopian stuff)
anyways. this scarf competes with my plumes and plumes wins every time so it is considered a funding scarf now.

also I bought some fitting mom jeans. it’s hard enough to lose the weight so I don’t have to feel bad about myself only wearing maternity jeans which I despised (and i frankly didn’t really wear hence only skirt outfits…)
You and your scarf are both gorgeous, and that celebrity baby body bounce back fascination is the stuff of, well, movies. Your culling decisions are super hero level…

Hello to everyone and thank you ladies for all your gorgeous posts which are so inspiring and a daily eye candy!
Here is my humble contribution to the pink-orange theme this week:

I'm twin with Blydia`s Coupons carré, which is one of my very beloved designs.
As a fan of pink, I’m on my fainting couch. That moussie
I looove this cw, Langsam, do pretty. I have the black-hemmed one - lots of pink.

Twins! This is the scarf that pulled me off the quiet shores of Ban Island after a pretty quiet 3 years.
Such a fun post, dear Ms Cooks. Here is my pink/lilac/orange La Monde est Vaste moussie.
An instant mood booster!
A pink scarf that has an orange changeant effect, my scarf of the day, Quintessence mousseline.

Ooooh you’ve captured the shimmer so well!
Going for the best of both worlds:
Soft creamy orange with a dash of subtle pale pink, brings to mind a pretty dessert— Acte III, Scene I, La Clairiere!

This is the most muted of scarves I own and I do so love it for warm days!

(Since I feel like a lazy ass today I’ve decided to make Bottom the star of the day…)

Today’s terrible pun:
Which knight invented King Arthur’s Round Table?

Sir Cumference!
Why have I never thought of orange and grey together? The scales have fallen from my eyes!

My final entry into multiples… I’m a lifelong cocker spaniel lover (I share a home with Cookie who sleeps in weird positions) so I feel compelled to add anything with spaniels.

2 original issue Chien au Rapports 90s, a Colliers de Chien 90 and maxi twilly, and Colliers et Chiens twilly and 90 wash

Good morning Scarflandia! This week we celebrate a our favorite shade of orange (H of course!) and pink!

24 Oct 2021 Sweet Pink & Bright Orange: Cheery scarves against breast cancer and scary monsters

Sweet Pink and Bright Orange
Erm - did you know there’s not much that rhymes with Orange?
I only know terrible puns…
(Though they are lots of fun!)
But then I’d have to run.
Please don’t throw an Orange!

And on a more serious note - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We all know someone who has been affected by breast cancer, or even one of us has herself dealt with this. Wearing pink this month is to highlight the importance of awareness, education and research for this deadly disease.

Big or small, Let’s save them all!

A week of Pink,
(Scarves printed in colorful ink)
And the favorite orange of Hermes,
(Oh how that color does blaze)
Protects us from scary monsters that Shriek!

Ha! What a great and fun intro, Cookie! And, such amazing silks, especially the Bal des Bulles moussie

Some archival pinks to start the week off including a shot of my H boutique last spring.
All so awesome!

Thank you, @Julide , for your leadership in multiples. As you predicted, it is turning out to be an expensive week for me, with a sixth colorway of Les Artisans on its way, along with my first Pytheas.:hrmm::P

My expectation is Pink and Orange week will be a wee less pricey, as neither color can be said to be a favorite of mine, but under @Cookiefiend ‘s leadership this week will certainly be a parade of glorious goodies.

I try to limit my purchases of orange scarves, but over the past couple of years, a few have slipped into my collection. I’m beginning the week with an orange scarf that is also a multiple of mine, the orange Breitling special edition of Reves d’Espace.

The SE

And, the regular edition in green.

View attachment 5231494View attachment 5231495
That special edition is gorgeous… But, I must say that the green CW is spectacular on you

I'm posting a "double pink" to start off the week. Didn't intend this but last week during multiples, two pink Honore scarfs ended up suggesting a double tie (bias fold and then an attempt at an orchid knot at the bottom). PdS and Fleurs d'Indiennes!

Oooh i love how you did this! So creative and stunning!

Fab intro cookie! I have just started to “come over” to the pink side.:giggle: A couple of archive photos of pinks. Orange is generally a no go color for me (unless there is lots of pink, purple or other color to balance it out!) But pink appears to be one of my go to colors, though I am choosy about the particular shade (Warm pastel  Cool pastel... :nono: )

I got to wear my new ZP CS Giant triangle last week on the ONE cool day we had. Hoping for more soon! Plus it was on theme for last week too, as I (still) have the pocket square I was supposed to sell when I bough the triangle....and.....

Both designs "Grand Fonds" and "Grand Fonds II" or "Grand Fonds Détail" came in MdS PM, although the "Détail" one seems to be more rare. "Grand Fonds II" was a very lucky find on a French consignment website.

I think H should assign a Scarflandia theme to an artist to illustrate the antics that take place there...
Yes! @turfnsurf! It could be like a truly chaotic and wacky version of J'aime Mon Carre...
Really?!? I didn’t know you could put pictures into notes!
Gonna try this!
(I have a pinterest page I keep scarf screenshots in)
This is the extent of my organizing. Just pin and save...but it works!
magjes and cookie @turfnsurf I use Airtable app for all my collections. It’s cloud based so I never lose the info and can work from any device, and the app is super easy. I have a section for knots that I am constantly adding screenshots to And links. Super easy to organize anything in there. I have a table for all my Hermes scarves, knots, wishlist. I also do camping equipment, us travel, world travel, local travel. Oh! I have all my books, paper and audio in one table . I have bought many duplicates in my library haha. Have a table for daughters clothes for when I am shopping for her. I know many use Stylebook. But my mind works better w Airtable and I care less about styling than simply the info. But plan to dive into Stylebook at some point.
So helpful to know about, though truth be told I am better at this in theory than in practice-- I must have all sorts of such things at half-mast; begun with great intentions but not-so-great execution and really not-so-great follow through...This sounds promising though @Nomad!

I do like Stylebook, but it does take some time to get started…. I’ve been using it since 2017 and set it up while Mr Cookie watched 3 minutes of everything. :giggle: I use Goodreads for my books, it has prevented me from buying duplicates!
