I really enjoyed last week's multiples theme. I had meant to join in some more, but after the surprise tree service appointment to cut down some damaged trees (that necessitated me getting up at 7:30 am every day) and the mail theft mid week, the video test proctoring and now the remakes of the stolen packages, I am pretty much tapped out. Fortunately, a couple of my scarves can do double duty from last week to this week!

Glurg - this thread is much like my ironing pile... if I don't keep on top of things it gets overwhelming. I attempted quotefests several times but after 32 pages there wasn't enough of @Julide greenery to repair my eyes. I do read every post and my like button finger once again has callouses. Thank you for all the lovely compliments and I kinda wish someone would leap in with a 'blecch' every now and then to encourage me to cull at a better rate.

This was such a fantastic theme - as we get into multiples we see passions truly come to the forefront and it's been an absolute delight to see what delights everyone to the nth degree!

From the archives, a couple of blecch-proof gavs. Pink is well-represented in the scarf drawer, orange a bit less-so. Hermes Electrique has pink and orange, and the other side is Quatre Chevaux from the men's collection

Orange is generally a no go color for me (unless there is lots of pink, purple or other color to balance it out!) But pink appears to be one of my go to colors, though I am choosy about the particular shade (Warm pastel Cool pastel... )

I got to wear my new ZP CS Giant triangle last week on the ONE cool day we had. Hoping for more soon! Plus it was on theme for last week too, as I (still) have the pocket square I was supposed to sell when I bough the triangle....and.....

And great words of wisdom. It took me a long time before I could shrug at my previous SA and cheerfully declare that I found nothing to buy. Not that she was pushy, in fact she was always reminding me to buy only what I truly loved. Another SA tried to hone my discernment by suggesting I buy only one scarf per season, but I'm afraid that was a goal too far for me. Took me a few years of growing up, but now I don't get swept away by the undertow when I visit the seasonal scarf threads.

Thank you, @Julide , for your leadership in multiples. As you predicted, it is turning out to be an expensive week for me, with a sixth colorway of Les Artisans on its way, along with my first Pytheas.

My expectation is Pink and Orange week will be a wee less pricey, as neither color can be said to be a favorite of mine, but under @Cookiefiend ‘s leadership this week will certainly be a parade of glorious goodies.

I try to limit my purchases of orange scarves, but over the past couple of years, a few have slipped into my collection. I’m beginning the week with an orange scarf that is also a multiple of mine, the orange Breitling special edition of Reves d’Espace.

I am sure with time your point of view will become clear. Sometimes experimentation is the only way to find this out. Next time you will remember this excitement and think, is this because of X or does this really suit my style? It’s hard to keep the excitement at a rationallevel to make the right choices when you’re just starting. Everything is amazing!!! Seen for the first time!! I love this dazzle of zebras-- the GT and gav look wonderful on you and I too have been eyeing that nano-- can't wait to see it (framed, on or flat). Sorry to hear about your mail mishap. Our mailbox is at the end of a gravel private road and I've had my share of beach parking lot folks "help" themeselves to a package (but usually amazon or target so I hope they enjoy their detergent or paper towels...)

Todays orange pink is coupons.
I honestly thought I‘d reach for this more, but I realize that it’s not a forever scarf for me. I don’t have a CCP like @LKBNOLA but I do have scarf hunger games (or squid games I guess, I have seen neither because I‘m too sensitive for dystopian stuff)
anyways. this scarf competes with my plumes and plumes wins every time so it is considered a funding scarf now.



also I bought some fitting mom jeans. it’s hard enough to lose the weight so I don’t have to feel bad about myself only wearing maternity jeans which I despised (and i frankly didn’t really wear hence only skirt outfits…)

Ah, sweet mama, don't be hard on yourself-- you look beautiful (jeans, skirts or even bathrobes!). Always good to buy a new pair of jeans or shoes or earrings while your body is regaining its pre-baby mojo. And with such beautiful scarfs, people are looking at your lovely face anyway! And I honestly don't reach for my CI as much as I imagined either-- my Pelages et Camouflages often wins out...
