drooling :hbeat::loveeyes:. Nothing better than scarves on scene! Enjoy your days off!

Thank you, Rialto is a very versatile design – and being in Venice again was just unbelievable!

Scarf mail try on. Not on theme And not with this outfit haha. Tried to show Notre Dame in front . Les Ponts de Paris.
This is a design on the lower half of my wishlist, in a color I finally found that I can work with and a price that worked. I can’t do the strong yellows that is so typical on this design. It is also a classic case of color distortion with online pics. I thought the ‘blue’ was a different ( better) blue than what showed up in my box. But it is still a good blue thankfully, phew. I love how the bridges look in this. View attachment 5123057View attachment 5123055View attachment 5123056

A lovely design and the cw suits you very well – I think you should definitely try to make this a scarf on scene too ;).

Wayyyy too hot here to contribute scarf wearing pics, but I can contribute my stats/thoughts on sale goggles and h math. I apparently have paid $80-100 over on my La danse gav, my pastel Into the Canadian Wild, one of my ex libris kimonos, my pink/green Parures de Samourais, my white L’ombre des pivoines ( I haven’t worn!! :-/)

But my H math tells me that I saved sooooo much money on so many other scarves that it all balances out :graucho:. Like two 140’s in great shape for $300-400. Those were my sale goggles lol. I couldn’t NOT buy them at that cost!!!!! My gavs for only $80-100. My 90’s for $100. But I will also say I have bought some with ‘oh my I have never seen this come up that often, I think I HAVE to get it at this reasonable price’ goggles on! n I haven’t Worn them and am not sure I will wear:facepalm: like this…

I love your H math – because I'm very guilty of it too... I had never seen this design before but the medieval theme with the gothic cathedral in the centre is great! Maybe not easy to wear but definitely a beauty to look at!

Thank you so much! I folded the scarf into a triangle and almost knotted it like a cowboy knot. But instead of tying bothe ends in the front I looped one end around the scarf and pulled the other end through the loop. I got this idea form a video tutorial on the instagram page "scarflookbook". The video was posted on 22 November 2020 with a Parures de Samouraïs carré. I just used a triangle instead of a bias fold to start with.

I love this design and it is a perfect match with your blouse or dress in the first photo. I had to look twice to see where the shawl ends and the blouse/dress begins. A perfect souvenir and a gorgeous accessoire!

Thank you!! :hugs:

Sometimes my impulse buys are along the “Oh what the heck, let’s give it a whirl” lines. :giggle:
Such as this Giant Triangle! (which I’ve worn 4 times since April, so I think it’s a success!)

Sometimes they’re “Eh… that’s a bit more than I want to pay, but it rarely comes up… so…”
Such as this beautiful Les Ailes de la Soie! (Which just arrived!)

Twins again Cookie! I got mine in April and I LOVE it! It looks beautiful…

Awww… Thank you so much! And, yes, mine is the cream, black and gold… This design is a Parisian delight!

Thank you so much! I must honestly say that I love every single CW of this design that I’ve seen… Which is your Grail CW?
It is a Parisian delight. Well said.

And the black one you have is my top colorway choice. I like how the border looks against the black. And like how the neutral boats pop. I also like the grey with the brown border.

omg that les ailes is so wonderful on you! Congrats!

Oh my gosh…Did that come off wrong.. Like I was saying yellow didn’t look good on you?? I meant, I know what you mean because I think I can not handle certain yellows ( think it does ME no favors!). I have to analyze the yellow on a scarf to make sure I can make it work. oh my gosh sorry if that came off wrong. ugh. Darn writing And not taking the time there to write a few more words to clarify! So sorry dear Snausages! N agree with other comments that the yellow stripe w it totally works. Thanks for the name. I didn’t realize that had Viennese origins. very cool
The d’oh was me forgetting the scarf title :) I read your note exactly as it was intended
I am terrible at discerning what looks good on screen vs on my neck. If we had an ‘oopsie’ week I’d be clogging the feed

Thank you hon! It’s a beauty, I hope you find one! ❤️

Welcome into our exclusive discerning club - the Clair de Lune is really dark brown, and needs a lot of light to shine in all its understated glory. I rarely wear mine, it's very stiff and I fear loosing it if not secured tightly with a knot or a scarf ring - enjoy:smile:
Thank you for the welcome! Mine is pre-loved, so already less stiff, but the texture is still unusual.

For those who wish to know more, some scarfies discussed their Cavalcadour Clair de Lune here:

@LKBNOLA Let me get a pic for you. It's not easy to photograph as the staining technique obscures the design, but the overcast skies are finally clearing up, so I'll go in search of a spot to take a photo.
