I started to collect mousselines a year and a half ago and they have stolen my heart. So any list of my favorites will have to include my favorite moussies. These are the last three to complete my Baker’s Dozen.

I will begin with my first and, to this day, favorite mousseline: Dimitri Rybaltchenko’s Offrandes d’un Jour. The exotic, wildly colorful florals on the black background make for a masterpiece that is romantic, striking, and so easy to wear. Here are two knots made with this beauty

Another amazing mousseline in my collection is Alice Shirley’s Under the Waves. I am lucky to own two CWs of this masterful swath of silk that depicts the rich and colorful underwater paradise of the Great Barrier Reef. The blending and intermingling of the patterns as the silk is folded adds a dimension that appears as liquid and complex as the ocean

Finally, this year I bought two stoles for the first time and am in awe at their beauty. They are Wlodek Kaminski’s marvelous La Voie Lactee. The colors of these changeants are beyond description. Dramatic and enigmatic, they are true showstoppers. I also own the glow-in-the-dark 90 edition of this design and must include it as it is one of the most rare and unique creations in Hermès history

Although we have all been challenged by this week’s theme, it has been delightful to host it, to show you my offerings and to delight in all of the wonderful silks that have been shared

As a collector who just took the moussie plunge with Le Monde Est Vaste and the EL madras moussie bandana, Fifi, I am delighted and in awe of your beautiful mousselines on display here. In fact this has been quite a moussie day with @Cookiefiend showing us her amazing collection, too.
Your Voie Lactees are incredibly beautiful and I can only imagine what they look like IRL. I’m still trying to understand how to tame them ; the madras felt like I was wearing a cloud, and that’s just a 55! I first folded it into a triangle with the two tails tied behind my neck and the point in front, but it bobbed up into my chin and it felt uncomfortable. So I tamed it into a bias fold and tied a low knot in front, as you saw in my mod shot.

Kermit Oliver’s designs are among my favorites and Kachinas is special because it was the first of the vintage designs I fell in love with and collected in multiples. I currently own four CWs of the 90, one giant triangle (and one I borrow from my daughter) and one giant silk. As a lover of southwestern art and culture, the theme resonates with me. It is vibrant, colorful, and ties beautifully. It is impossible to choose a favorite CW or format, so I include all of mine in this post.

Another favorite masterpiece is Anamorphee’s Ex Libris en Kimonos. A Grail for many, it is easy to understand why. The classic Hermes Ex Libris design is fashioned from samples of antique Japanese kimono patterns. It has both a traditional Asian vibe and vibrant modern feel. I own two CWs of the 90 and a CSGM and each is tops in my collection

These are all so fabulous. I will have to admit that I was happy with my ELEK collection but when I saw a previous post of you wearing that striking colorful 90 I immediately went on a vigorous hunt to locate one. I’m happy to say that she has arrived and is an absolute beauty. I’ve also always admired your amazing Kachinas collection and would love to one day add the 90 turquoise. I love the green corners.

I am definitely agonizing over my ladies lineup for scarves #9-12! In the meantime, my garden is going absolutely marvelously crazy with Fairy Roses and Hydrangeas already blooming out and a bank of orange Tiger Lilys and Several Rose of Sharon bushes are promising some great color very soon. Here are Mountain Laurels-- this pink variety ireminds me of my lovely green Mountain Zebra. I think the corners of the scarf look like my garden which always makes me so happy. FOTD and SOTD--

We are MT twins in this gorgeous colorway. It looks great with your green plaid pants.

Y’all know how much I love birds - I grew up with parakeets and both my mother and grandmother (and now me too) love watching them and listening to them.
So scarves 5 and 6 have feathers!
Plumes (yes I’m cheatin’ a lil bit :giggle:)

I love your new addition and what a great look with your vivid pink top.
My sotd and one that comes to the island with me in the 13. Oh how I love it so. Don’t get to wear it that much tho :-/. So here is a shirt that technically ( I realized after buying it) looks awful with my complexion. But I have possibly saved it?? from the donation bin by wearing my scarf with it today yay. I’m still not sold on keeping it tho. View attachment 5111413
I am still kicking myself for selling this one. I always thought it washed me out but it’s such a beauty. Your top is perfect paired with this colorway.
Although I haven't really had time this week to think about 10 favorites, much less 12 or 13...here are a couple of my personal favorites that I have worn recently. Most of them are going to involves flowers or cats, that much I can tell you without thinking about it!

Savana Dance still tops the lists in the favorites

Your Savana colorway is gorgeous! I continue to look for this glorious colorway of Jungle Love. One day…..!
Soooooo...I took a photo of my sotd which also made it into my bakers dozen for the theme this week, Tresors d’un Artiste. I wore it two ways today. And sadly realized the green matched better in indoor light than outdoor light :-/. Oops. I had time to play and tie it two ways today through the day. Thennnnnnn I decided to play with a new buy from h.com, Animapolis. This purchase was a “let me see what the fuss is about”, “ I just dont think I like such busy scarves in 90’s, but don’t know until you know”. Well, as you can imagine... It was love at first sight with the design, but especially with the colors! These gorgeous sorbet like colors that shine . Now I have to rethink my 13 because this One made it onto the island with me!! I can’t Believe it! And @PangurBan and @Thelittlefoxes. Its because of you that I took the plunge haha. #7 to #9 are favourites partly because of the format. I love odd sizes like 65/70cm and 100cm and I love them even more when they are made in H cotton or cotton/silk.

You look amazing!
Two of my all time Hermès favorites are Laurence Bourthoumieux “Toutsy’s” Flamingo Party and Ardmore Artists’ La Marche du Zambeze.

Flamingo Party was created to celebrate the amazing natural habitat of the Florida’s Everglades. As a Florida resident, it became an instant favorite. It was the very first design I ever ordered from the H website. And it features flamingoes, which are among my favorite birds. Two beautiful flamingoes create a heart shape with their arching necks among the lush tropical landscape. The illustration, dense with exotic foliage and beautiful feathers, is a masterpiece. I own four 90s, a CSGM and a cotton pareo. The first of the pics is of the special Miami Edition

I adore the designs of the Ardmore Artists and tried to pick my favorite one. Although difficult to choose, I went with La Marche du Zambeze. The whimsical animals, gorgeous florals and elaborate border are lovely to tie and are such a dramatic and decorative accent piece. I own the white CW of the original edition and the yellow from the SS2021 season

Thank you for the kind comments this week. The six favorites that have been worn so far this week include: Astrologie Sunrise, Appaloosa des Steppes, Couvertures et Tenues de Jour Fleuri bandana, Les Artisans d'Hermes, Les Toits de Paris, and Zebra Pegasus.

Today's favorite scarf and my SOTD is Tapis Persans. I own three mousselines of this design.

View attachment 5114918

I selected the rest of my thirteen favorite scarves by using a few categories.

My favorite Thanksgiving scarf is Flora et Fauna du Texas.

View attachment 5114184

My favorite Christmas scarf is Noel au 24 Faubourg.

View attachment 5114187

My favorite garden scarf is Jardins d'Hiver.

View attachment 5114189

My favorite vintage Ledoux scarf is Presentation de Chevaux.

View attachment 5114191

I have been finding myself collecting mosaic scarves lately. I just purchased a Sous le Cedre. I have two Mosaique au 24 mousselines, a Beverly Hills mousseline, and two Pavements. I would love to collect Provence (or Provincia) and Cave Felem as well. Today I'm listing my black Pavement as my favorite mosaic scarf.

View attachment 5114193

For my final favorites category, I decided to go with Xavier de Poret's animal drawings. I love them all, but this Tourterelles is extra special.

View attachment 5114195

Thank you all for presenting your 13 favorites this week. This has been a fun week with lots of eye candy, and an ever growing list of scarf designs that I NEED.

Oof! That lavender Tourterelles and matching top made my heart skip a beat!
