Why @Karenska, I do love the photos of your fur babies and your mod shots of your beautiful scarves (sister and twin!). Your love of cats and silk has made a poet out of you  (love your "witty ditty")...

Thank you! It was a post of yours about focusing on older designs that started my hunt!

And I too, @Living.la.vida.fifi share your place associations-- the neighborhood I lived in early childhood was called "La Alhambra" and I, too, have translated Lorca's poems-- amazing poetry and silk connections!
Thank you, dear Lkbnola, sister-twin. My cats are my therapy and I adore them. And I am in awe of the great cats. I really need a Guepards. I believe you have the black MT slim? ‘Witty ditty’ -so cute!
I think our collective posts and mod shots inspire us to branch out and see these treasures in so many ways. And enables, yes :graucho:. Hermès’ reissuing of designs in new and interesting formats keeps us engaged, too. I am happy a post of mine brought you a new scarf :hugs:.

Count me among the Lorca enthusiasts, Lkbnola and @Living.la.vida.fifi.

OMG @Nomad! I share your love of the black beauties and am your twin on LPF-- your styling here with that top os beyond perfection! I have to ask-- did you have the top and it was a serendipitous styling or did you buy with scarf in mind? As for your Oiseaux Fleurs-- that purple sweater really sets it off and it is a FAB color for you!
yay! on Twins! I don’t see this pattern on here that much. We need a sweets and food week :-). To answer your question- I had this top. I think it was pattern on pattern week that made me go hunting in the sweater chest for it. Or maybe when everyone was talking about stripes with scarfs, another great exchange. And thanks in the purple. I definitely need more of it in my wardrobe and scarves . This orange slope has been an amazing journey in color and what looks good and what looks great and the opposite lol.

Yesterday was one of those days, but everything is under control now and I’ve caught up!
Now where was I? Oh…

And my 2 La Rosee - the pinky-orange because it was a HG and the first scarf that made me cry when I saw it. The Stormy blue because it is still the most beautiful thing I own.

Now… what will Lucky Thirteen be?
These are all gorgeous! I love that your Rosee made you cry when you opened it! That is so much happiness at your grail. Congratulations On all of these beauties!

I so agree... This luscious design transports me to The Alhambra. I lived in Spain as a child and have traveled through Andalucia back and forth a number of times... It is so magical! I am also a poetry lover and Lorca is one of my favorites. Back when I wrote poetry in college, I wrote a poem that I dedicated to Lorca and used the cadences and style of his Romancero Sonámbulo

Your fur babies are so adorable! And every single one of your picks is masterful... I could not choose a fav between them
The plisse is Tohu Bohu, dear Fifi. Thank you for the compliments to my beautiful felines who fill my day with joy, and on my scarf choices which fill
me with joy, too. I know! Four choices for one slot. Obviously, “betcha can’t choose just one” applies with me .
My next trip to Spain will be to Andalusia and hopefully, Morocco.

No scarf today but will post archive. I believe I could never leave behind my two black beauties. The ones that bring me the most awe struck joy in black colorways! I’m counting these as 1 at my number 5 spot :graucho: like cookiefiend? I think it is that is doing groupings?? And can I say how darn difficult this week is!!! Impossible! I love them all :heart: Aux pays des oiseaux-fleur and la patisserie. View attachment 5114326View attachment 5114327
Both are absolutely stunning but that Oiseaux is TDF! Oh, my :girlsigh: . Black Beauties, indeed.

Thank you for the kind comments this week. The six favorites that have been worn so far this week include: Astrologie Sunrise, Appaloosa des Steppes, Couvertures et Tenues de Jour Fleuri bandana, Les Artisans d'Hermes, Les Toits de Paris, and Zebra Pegasus.

Today's favorite scarf and my SOTD is Tapis Persans. I own three mousselines of this design.

20210619_100421.jpg

I selected the rest of my thirteen favorite scarves by using a few categories.

My favorite Thanksgiving scarf is Flora et Fauna du Texas.

20201126_095647.jpg

My favorite Christmas scarf is Noel au 24 Faubourg.

20201111_105630.jpg

My favorite garden scarf is Jardins d'Hiver.

20201114_103632.jpg

My favorite vintage Ledoux scarf is Presentation de Chevaux.

20210315_110055.jpg

I have been finding myself collecting mosaic scarves lately. I just purchased a Sous le Cedre. I have two Mosaique au 24 mousselines, a Beverly Hills mousseline, and two Pavements. I would love to collect Provence (or Provincia) and Cave Felem as well. Today I'm listing my black Pavement as my favorite mosaic scarf.

20210224_094959.jpg

For my final favorites category, I decided to go with Xavier de Poret's animal drawings. I love them all, but this Tourterelles is extra special.

Thank you all for presenting your 13 favorites this week. This has been a fun week with lots of eye candy, and an ever growing list of scarf designs that I NEED.

So I have posted eight must-have scarves. Here are five others.
Coup de Fouet Au Bloc. This is my sweetest 140 and I just adore it with the rose, burgundies, blues and grays, and the little border flowers. And of course, the four horseheads. It’s an exceptionally comfortable scarf and I always enjoy wearing it.3EF554CB-8428-4B7A-A236-3B588D0E056F.jpeg
I have a few Ledouxs and I love them all but my very favorite is L’Hiver, on which I have gushed here on many occasions. The composition and artistry is so beautiful and the border is just gorgeous.
DCF315C3-2EDD-4472-8A6F-8F702CCCFC36.jpeg
I could not get by without a truly personal grail for me and another equally favorite Ledoux, La Comedie Italienne. All those delightful Commedia dell’Arte characters!
E275767C-FF15-47B4-9EF6-FA62527A8529.jpeg
No Must-Have 13 list could not be complete without a Christine Henry! I have a few, but my dearest must be either Axis Mundi and Rives Fertiles. FD95B072-DA6C-465C-90E8-39577AF77F22.jpeg05D5BB5B-7B4C-48BD-AC85-A247DFB5D72F.jpegLeft out is Animapolis, Les Mustangs, Index Palmarum, Les Ballets Russes, and others. If I were to review my collex in a month, I wonder which I’d select....

It’s been a fun week with you all!

Here are my 8th, 9th and 10th DESIGNS... I honestly am unable to choose a CW whenever I have multiples, so I went with designs instead. After Parures de Samourais, which is my favorite design of all time, the ones I’ve shown each day are in no particular order of preference.

On my list there must be an Annie Faivre as she is the designer most frequently represented in my collection. I chose Zenobie Reyne de Palmyre because all the CWs of this design are a marvelous dialogue of colors. The borders with various graphics including graceful stylized palms are glorious when tied. But, probably above all, I chose it because of my fascination with jewelry, especially vintage, antique and ethnic jewelry and the illustration depicts the jewels and objects that belonged to the ancient ruler of the Palmyrine Empire. I own three Cws of the 90 and one shawl which I adore and which is probably my favorite of the four if I had to choose

Next is Daiske Nomura’s C’est la Fete. I had to include a double sided scarf and this one is a treasure. Ties beautifully... The brooding colors and silvery graphics are amazing... I love the twinkling stars and wonderful striped borders and edgy vibe of the design. And, my favorite holiday is Halloween and the slightly macabre, steampunk feel deeply appeals to me. I am lucky to own two double-sided 90s

And, while not the biggest fan of the original edition of Hermes’ most iconic design, I adore the variations on the theme that have been created through the decades. The original Brides de Gala was created by Hugo Grygkar on my birth year, so it also has special significance. I own these reissues: BdG Love, BdG en Finesse, Brides Fleuries, and BdG Shadow, but my all-time fav is Brides de Gala Shadow. It is one of the most striking, elegant, versatile statement pieces I own

Dear Fifi, you look so polished and pretty in your beautiful scarves! They’re all gorgeous but I must agree about your BdG Shadow; it’s stunning. And I love the earrings you chose to wear it with - perfect!

Fav scarves - I have penchant for pink ....

My first JL purchase, remains my fav cw.
Cavaliers is one of my most worn scarves - an easy grab and go choice

What a beautiful array of pink and red scarves, Orchard :faint:. Twins with PdV, except that mine is a plisse. And, please, would you mind showing the NBoC special edition of La Danse flat? I’d love to see it. It’s a GORGEOUS color. I love that company; I saw their Giselle a few years ago at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
I love my plisse of this iconic design and really, after Axis Mundi, I think it’s my favorite Christine Henry design.

Cookie, all simply magnificent, but you are the moussie queen and your La Rosees are swoon-worthy. For your 13th I was going to say you would choose another mousseline, then I saw your later post and I was on target. You are so inspirational

So… I can’t do it.
My Thirteenth Choice is a format. It is nearest and dearest to my heart, and is one I’d grab if the house was on fire.
