Fave scarf #12 is a representative of a weakness I have. When in doubt about which cw to select for any design, I gravitate to blue+red. I have a rather large number of blue+red scarves, and they go with most of my office wear since the dress code in my company is very casual. The rep for this cw is Corinthe because it took me a long time to find this design, including one missing in the post incident.
View attachment 5115460
I started my selection of 13 with a Mythiques Phoenix in yellow and purple and will end with a phoenix too. The yellow+purple cw was the last 90cm MP I bought from the resale market because I thought the colours would clash horribly. I was wrong and it has since become a go-to scarf for me.
#13 is of course the anthracite cw, my travel stalwart, as well as a very educational scarf colourwise for me. I had put it in the category of black/white till I actually got my hands on one and saw for myself the subtle range of the not-black/not-white palette.
View attachment 5115459
For comparison, here are the 70cm and the pareo which are mainly black/white/grey. Not the same :amuse:

View attachment 5115475
Oops, slight error: the 70cm MP is marine - a blue so dark that it reads as black.

For Xincinsin, Kyoto Marble MT in the afternoon light outdoors.
View attachment 5115506
It is very beautiful, and I am very lucky.
(I may have said to my lovely SA that I was prepared to crawl over broken glass for it. And...err...I also got the horsey one that came out at the same time (but missed out on the original Balade). They had the Constance in this silk as a display only item in the window at my store recently...I took a long, loving look at it.)
Thank you, @Hat Trick! Agree about the broken glass  I wasn't really keen on the first Marble scarf (4 flowers), but I loved the Balade and much-missed @Jbizzybeetle helped me to acquire one. After that, I decided just to admire from afar ... err, sort of admire from afar  . One of the shops I frequent locally imported non-H scarves from Kyoto Marble just before Covid, and they hope to get another shipment in future. I think the owner or her friends sources for them personally, and so I won't be expecting anything till international travel starts up again.

Twins on the CSGM!
Fantastic, Agrume!
Fabulous ... and twins on the last one!
thank you so much, dear Croisette! happy to be your twin!

love the colourful scarf, and your necklace With it! White is perfect for wearing it!

gorgeous, Orchard! In particular the Shackleton, another explorer!

Fabulous choices Agrume.
Happy to hear you'll see your dear parents IRL.
thank you so much, Orchard! And Mr Agrume and I much enjoyed the time with my parents.

Wowie wow wow!!! GREAT choices and fantastic pictures/styling/outfits. I still want that Bal des Oiseaux....And a Pytheas. And this neutral Femmes aux Semelles.....And your ZP although I already have 4.....and, and, and.
thank you so much, Moma! It was not so easy to choose… and completely understand about the ZP. I am also circling around one, but try to keep back.

That knot does really showcase the center, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen this scarf, in this colorway, so beautifully worn. I’ve often been tempted by this design, but in this cw - it’s practically irresistible.
(off to look for that rowboat, which tree is it under?)

:faint:
What a fabulous, glorious post! I love each and every one as well as your reasons… I giggled over that giant green eye - that would definitely startle me! :giggle:

< gasp! > Your BdG is stunning! :faint:

Marvelous choices! :dothewave:

Excellent choices, each one is a treasure.

❤❤❤

This is a riot of joy! ❤❤❤

Ahhhh…. Pink. ❤❤❤

Lovely, but my fav is still this beautiful moussie with the patterned blouse. ❤
thank you kindly, dear Cookie!

Thank you, Cookie. I love their easy-breezy look and they are fun! Speaking of Those We Cannot Do Without, my Essential 13 MUST include this, the most versatile plisse I own:
View attachment 5113643
And my most versatile twilly. Both in the Lucky 13 club.
View attachment 5113642
oh yes, a plissé - beautiful, Karenska!

Yesterday - another all time favourite - Jardin de Leila
And it’s been so nice to be on a patio. Haven t been able to do this since November because Toronto has been in lock down. Things finally slowly opening up!
lovely, CanuckBagLover - and enjoy it, getting back to normal life!

A spectacular 13! I LOVE your styling choices.
thank you so much, Langsam!

SOTD is off topic because...scarf mail! Inspired by @momasaurus I have been searching for a black and silver Promenades de Longchamps for a while and here it is! No care tag but clearly was beautifully cared for-- not a mark on her, perfect hems and still even a bit of body to the silk. Of course, I love the design and was also inspired by @Karenska and others who have posted this beauty in other lovely colors, too. It isn't in my Lucky 13 Club but I have to say it would be my choice if had only room for one scarf, say for a weekend trip. Here are some mod shots including one of the lady right side up!

it is beautiful, LKBNOLA, and you wear it beautifully!

#10 and 11
Of my very few cashmeres, most are 100cm from the men's collex, but I have a couple of 140 CSGM exceptionelle because I could not resist the design. And that alone tells you how much I liked them because I resisted all the 140 CSGM Mythique Phoenix.
C'est la Fete
If I fold this another way, I can hide almost all the embroidery and it looks like a regular dull green CSGM.

Washington's Carriage Quilt
This has actual silk scarf patchs sewn on to the CSGM.
View attachment 5113829
they are breathtaking, Xincinsin! The WC … wow!

SOTD is definitely one of my favorites. Zebra Pegasus just makes me feel happy.

View attachment 5113973
and visibly so, Redbirdhermes, love those colours!

All stunning and beautiful on you, dear Agrume. What is the Marseille edition, please? Could you please model it when you have time?
Dear Agrume, I forgot to say how happy I am that you are seeing your parents IRL! Blessings to you and your parents. ❤
thank you so much, dear Karenska! I will post a picture of the Marseille Pytheas shortly.

Here are my 8th, 9th and 10th DESIGNS... I honestly am unable to choose a CW whenever I have multiples, so I went with designs instead. After Parures de Samourais, which is my favorite design of all time, the ones I’ve shown each day are in no particular order of preference.

On my list there must be an Annie Faivre as she is the designer most frequently represented in my collection. I chose Zenobie Reyne de Palmyre because all the CWs of this design are a marvelous dialogue of colors. The borders with various graphics including graceful stylized palms are glorious when tied. But, probably above all, I chose it because of my fascination with jewelry, especially vintage, antique and ethnic jewelry and the illustration depicts the jewels and objects that belonged to the ancient ruler of the Palmyrine Empire. I own three Cws of the 90 and one shawl which I adore and which is probably my favorite of the four if I had to choose

Next is Daiske Nomura’s C’est la Fete. I had to include a double sided scarf and this one is a treasure. Ties beautifully... The brooding colors and silvery graphics are amazing... I love the twinkling stars and wonderful striped borders and edgy vibe of the design. And, my favorite holiday is Halloween and the slightly macabre, steampunk feel deeply appeals to me. I am lucky to own two double-sided 90s

View attachment 5114488

And, while not the biggest fan of the original edition of Hermes’ most iconic design, I adore the variations on the theme that have been created through the decades. The original Brides de Gala was created by Hugo Grygkar on my birth year, so it also has special significance. I own these reissues: BdG Love, BdG en Finesse, Brides Fleuries, and BdG Shadow, but my all-time fav is Brides de Gala Shadow. It is one of the most striking, elegant, versatile statement pieces I own
View attachment 5114490
great scarves, Fifi! I need a Zenobie…

Yesterday was one of those days, but everything is under control now and I’ve caught up!
Now where was I? Oh…

Faubourg Tropical - another gorgeous neutral
View attachment 5114835
Cache Cache Fleuri - blue and makes me smile.
View attachment 5114836
And my 2 La Rosee - the pinky-orange because it was a HG and the first scarf that made me cry when I saw it. The Stormy blue because it is still the most beautiful thing I own.

Perfect choices, Nomad, lovely!

this was a great week, thank you so much for hosting, Fifi, and you all for posting! our favourite 13 are probably as unique as a fingerprint…

A spectacular 13! I LOVE your styling choices.
thank you kindly, Langsam!

Oh, gosh, what to say @Agrume! I adore your choices and styling which is always utter perfection. You have two Honore's that are the top of my Petite Grail List for her-- such beautiful Semelles and Pytheas... Ofcourse, I love the Bal (twin!) and now I will probably spend all the late night trying to find a Claire de Lune, too. I hope you have a marvelous time with your parents!
thank you so much, LKBNOLA! Good luck with the Claire de Lune, I’ll try to keep this in mind when I see one.

Love all yoir choices (and reasons) so much! Charabia is such a beautiful and versatile shawl! And your La Femme is a personal unattainable Grail and swoon-worthy. Central Park is spectacular and your La Voie Lactee stole is also on my list... So amazing! Would love to see the Marseille edition of Pytheas... Love your Wedgwood pin, as well. And, so happy to hear that you will meet with your parents at last.
Thank you so much, Fifi!

This has been a very beautiful week.
The Porte du Palais looks like Delft porcelaine! Beautiful Hat Trick!

I just picked up my new Maxi-Twilly Slim today! It’s the Grand Prix du Fauberg pattern in the Vieux Rose/Bordeaux colorway. It’ll go with both my pink Toolbox 20 as a strap and will also pair well with my Casa Sac (you can see it here next to my bracelet that matches the Casa Sac, which I won’t use it as a strap with lol).
