My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

No leather, but a post about my newest additions:
Today I wore my first scarf purchase of 2020: Fleurs d’Indiennes. So, I ended 2019 with Aline Honore’s PdS and began the year with another one of her amazing designs that had been long on my wishlist. I found this one at the Antique and Jewelry show where I met @eagle1002us a couple of weeks ago.

I was amazed to see Le Voyage de Pytheas at a re-seller site for only $175 (with coupon I hadn’t used). Long on my Grail list, just not in this CW, but couldn’t pass it up at this price. I was disappointed that it is lighter than I imagined when it arrived. But, the design is so amazing, and it will work beautifully in summer

This past weekend my daughter found this at a consignment shop and sent me a pic. I ran over the next day hoping there would be more H scarves, but this was the only one. Of all the Panoplie Equestre CWs, I had never seen or considered this one, but it is beautiful. I was surprised to see the chevrons are a very dark brown as they looked black in the pics

Thanks! I am using it as a sort of strap extender because I wanted the Evie TPM to be just a skosh longer. On days when I wear a big coat I either wear the TPM inside the coat or occasionally tie the twilly longer/shorter. I also use it to halve the strap when I want it to be more evening-bag style - fits perfectly under the arm!

Yay! I will be looking these all up

Hi! Thanks both for the welcome! @Awillow what does KO stand for?

YAS! I will be acquiring more bunnies to participate in this when it comes around ;)

This is a regular twilly and is Animopolis - but I don't think there are bunnies on the twilly. FWIW, I loop it between the Evie ring (on the bag itself) and the strap hook and then adjust the length as appropriate. I then sort of loop the twilly around and through the strap hook so that it conceals the hook (thus it doesn't look like I have the strap clipped to a silk) and then tie a bow, then again adjust the bow up a bit so it helps hide the clasp. Helpful plus fun to be able to change them! I consisdered replacing the strap entirely with a maxi twilly slim (or was it twillon... can't remember) but I like having only a small amount of silk showing as a pop. And thank you! Will check out Les Bles. Who is Jan?

Thanks  Keeping track!

Right!?

Yesss!
Sorry. KO - Kermit Oliver. A designer for Hermes - I believe he is still the only American who has designed scarves for them. He lives in Waco, TX - hence his Faune et Flore du Texas.

An African American mail carrier in his 70s, he does paintings of the American southwest. Kachinas - a design currently available as a giant triangle - is also his.

An interesting article about Oliver is here:

ETA: sorry - just saw xincinsin had responded already!

Superior combo! I never saw the scarf on-line in these sophisticated darkish colors! If you can, post it flat. I didn't get Au Bout du Monde b/c only the teal/taupe appealed to me and I already had a HS in those colors from that season. But your AbdM inspires me and oh, let's not even start to talk about that bag! Love Rouge H.

Congratulations on your newest additions, Fifi.
Le Voyage de Pythias definitely speaks to me.

It’s amazing how we come by our treasures!
