My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

Does sharkskin leather count for this week? Wearing a slave collar inlaid with black sharkskin. SOTD is Mountain Zebra. My colleagues were more interested in the collar than the H  I think the daily scarf has got them immune to the silk.

Great ensemble, xincinsin. And that MZ is spectacular. I just can’t get over how beautiful our scarves are and how each of you bring your own style to them. I know I feel uniquely turned out when I wear my scarves, which is not every day but most days.

Cheating a bit today. My thin grey top has pleather on the shoulders.

But it's way too chilly in the office, so I wore a shirt over it.

We are twins with this cw of Donner La Main, but mine is a plisse. It looks lovely on you and as a carré. I adore mine, well-worn and well-loved - the pleats are very relaxed which allows the pretty colors and design to be seen. 0D58CD09-ED03-4E2A-8D3C-8FCE3669C11A.jpeg

No leather, but a post about my newest additions:
Today I wore my first scarf purchase of 2020: Fleurs d’Indiennes. So, I ended 2019 with Aline Honore’s PdS and began the year with another one of her amazing designs that had been long on my wishlist. I found this one at the Antique and Jewelry show where I met @eagle1002us a couple of weeks ago.

I was amazed to see Le Voyage de Pytheas at a re-seller site for only $175 (with coupon I hadn’t used). Long on my Grail list, just not in this CW, but couldn’t pass it up at this price. I was disappointed that it is lighter than I imagined when it arrived. But, the design is so amazing, and it will work beautifully in summer

This past weekend my daughter found this at a consignment shop and sent me a pic. I ran over the next day hoping there would be more H scarves, but this was the only one. Of all the Panoplie Equestre CWs, I had never seen or considered this one, but it is beautiful. I was surprised to see the chevrons are a very dark brown as they looked black in the pics

What a busy shopper you have been! All magnificent but your Fleurs d'Indiennes.....wow! That is definitely everything a scarf should be and more!!!! I am speechless!

Haha! You're so right. I tend not to get comments now from my friends unless I don't have one on and then it's along the lines of, "Uh, no scarf today then?"!!!
Loving your collar on you.

Such a beautiful calm green in this scarf. Happy!
Thank you! Yes it is a very lovely green!!:flowers:

All gorgeous! Great choices of vintage scarves. And I must try tying my Panoplie that way - I have the creme/menthe/gris colorway.
