My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

Last night, Mr Cookie and I had a little cocktail hour in our living room - just us and Coco. I have The Hermès Scarf, History & Mystique Book on the cocktail table, and randomly opened it... La Femme Au Carré. Which is a collaboration between Bali Barret and Anamorphée!
Well I’ll be!

You are so welcome, and thank you for your kind words. :hugs:
We felt like - after another rotten day in the market - let's just sit and breathe a bit.
Coaching, 70, brightened up my day

Such a lovely color, especially with the peachy sweater!

Thank you sweetie! :hugs:

Beautiful ELenK. And Duo d'Etriers is new to me!

Oh, that is really the epitome of a cheerful scarf! Makes one smile just looking at it :flowers:

I avoided Maths in school, then ended up doing budget. Thank goodness there were calculators, then Lotus 123, then Excel! I don't know where all the students good in Maths went, but they didn't join this company

:giggle: Thank you for the ode, Cookie! I remember when I thought one BdG would be enough. Ah, the innocence of a naive H newbie!

Those lovely cranberry and ruby shades of red! Awesome!

  DS went What?!!! when we first read about robbers hijacking a truckload of TP.

Your co-worker is absolutely adorable!
When I worked in radio and newspapers, we “joked” a lack of math skills is why we all became journalists. Reminded of this every time I see an article trying to explain the Covid19 projections.

Another Pivoines from moi! While I find this scarf tricky to wear, I am forever mesmerized by that magical city floating in that fantasy landscape...
