My very best wishes to everyone for the New Year to all SOTD regulars, occasional posters and newcomers alike  .

The SOTD 2021 thread is now open and ready for business:

The new theme commences tomorrow (3 Jan - whenever your time zone gets there) but there's no reason why you can't post earlier if you want.

This is the.most.beautiful & festive cw I’ve seen of this design... so charming!
PeF is such a marvelous design - your cw’s are all sooooo pretty, our beautiful queen of the CSGMs :queen:
:smile:Agree- I discovered it really sings next to yellow

Many thanks  I’m not sure my list of grails compares with the stature of some others, but I’ve definitely got some personal Precioussssses I’m smitten with.

I know we’ve done a Grails/p.Grails week before... I can’t remember if there’s a compiled list somewhere to refer to? All I remember is that the blue Turandot is unattainable :girlshocked:

Wow, I had no idea.:hbeat: Having a sister to one of yours is doubly sweet! :hugs:
I found it quite by accident and couldn’t be happier with my first time dipping my toes into CSGM territory.
Thank you so much for your sweet compliments, turfnsurf!

On this last day of the year I am reminded of the double-faced Roman god Janus, with the old man looking back at the last year, and the young man looking forward to the next. I was fortunate this year to welcome two incredible double-faced Hermes scarves into my collection. Della Cavalleria Favolosa is a delight with the various chimera playing with children's toys. But, C'est la Fete is in a class by itself and is certainly appropriate to wear as we bid goodbye to 2020.

The Oscarf for Best Double-Faced Scarf goes to C'est la Fete.

Beautiful Decoupages Croisette!

My Top-O-scarf is PeF in multiple CWs ... it´s not the whole set like my Samouraïs ... but 4 twills and
3 CSGMs

Yaaas! Beautiful choices on all of these for you. The white one is my overall favorite in this design. The orange has never been my favorite flat; but tied !!! It's spectacular!

Very fun week seeing everyone's scarf journeys and awards for 2020. My contribution is La Folle Parade, one of my favorites. Its such happy, fun, whimsical scarf. Every time I see it or wear it I smile.
I imagine if it were a film, it would be an in the Oscar category of animated short, with the cart wonkily rolling along and the critters frollicking and and playing silly pranks on each other to a cacaphony of music.

Presenting the award is my Little Girl (yes that's her name) but since this is the first year and she's new at this, she was a bit confused as to what to do.... Hopefully she'll get the hang of it with practice! No mod shots since I'm dealing with Covoid hair (again!) and Christmas pounds. Best wishes to all for a Happy and Safe New Year!

Oh Canuck! Little Girl will surely get the hang of it! She's adorable! And in this CW this scarf is certainly one of the most whimsical ever!

Aww, sweet! Both the scarf and the kitty. No worries, she'll get the hang of it soon enough!
