Have a few things this morning, but I hope to be back this afternoon with some Oscarf awards :hbeat: . If time slips by and I don’t until tomorrow, I just want to say Happy New Year to the planet and to all of us, as we send 2020 out the door :dothewave:. It’s been a very hard year for all of us but being on SOTD with such wonderful people has helped get me through it. Thank you. And may 2021 bring all your silk dreams come true. :hugs::heart: :drinkup: .

I love your sentiment of throwing in a scarf no matter the activity! I used to wear scarves everyday for work. Perhaps I will use this mantra in 2021 :cool: congrats on your fleurs de giverny!

Passing on Appaloosa des Steppes when available at H, I finally found one this year - my framboise/canard cw. Not easy to find, though; this one came from France and not pristine condition. I feel that I do need to reevaluate my collection but good luck to me to have the courage to part with any of it - what if my tastes change back? :panic:
There are some scarves I just don’t get around to wearing. And that makes me feel bad because I certainly don’t buy these at these variously expensive or occasional good-deal prices for them to sit in the drawer!

Very fun week seeing everyone's scarf journeys and awards for 2020. My contribution is La Folle Parade, one of my favorites. Its such happy, fun, whimsical scarf. Every time I see it or wear it I smile.
I imagine if it were a film, it would be an in the Oscar category of animated short, with the cart wonkily rolling along and the critters frollicking and and playing silly pranks on each other to a cacaphony of music.

Presenting the award is my Little Girl (yes that's her name) but since this is the first year and she's new at this, she was a bit confused as to what to do.... Hopefully she'll get the hang of it with practice! No mod shots since I'm dealing with Covoid hair (again!) and Christmas pounds. Best wishes to all for a Happy and Safe New Year!

Many thanks :biggrin: I’m not sure my list of grails compares with the stature of some others, but I’ve definitely got some personal Precioussssses I’m smitten with.

I know we’ve done a Grails/p.Grails week before... I can’t remember if there’s a compiled list somewhere to refer to? All I remember is that the blue Turandot is unattainable :girlshocked:

I found it quite by accident and couldn’t be happier with my first time dipping my toes into CSGM territory.
