i love this cw of PdS, and I am starting to think this design is actually better in CSGM... not good news for my wallet! Putting your CeL against this warm cranberry Sweater is genius.

Got a text message a few days ago that my SA had found a C’est la Fête in the back — it just got here today. CW 04. I am still not confident these are my colors, but I couldn’t miss out on this.

I just read an article that USPS had plans to accommodate more pkgs vs letters (dwindling volume), but courts reversed before election for ballots. Pkgs put on hold to handle ballots are literally filling up warehouses in PA (some sitting since pre-Thanksgiving). Staff shortages, etc. has compounded situation.

Hopefully your earrings don’t need to go through PA...

They‘re coming from the east coast, so it’s possible. There’ve been no shipping updates since Dec 10th. We saw something on the news last night about this too... the earrings aren‘t a gift, so thats good at least.

I am bagless as well, Karenska. Although it shocks me to think what I might have afforded were I not so dedicated to scarves! A twilly as a bracelet has intrigued me, although tying one one-handed seems problematic, and Shelby hasn't figured it out yet

THIS! Every so often my SA gently says that I could have a bag if I bought a few less shawls, scarfs & belt kits. However, to each her own, but I feel don't have a life that goes with a 5 figure handbag, so we just end up laughing about it.

A few years ago @TangoTosca posted a picture of her extensive scarf collection and titeled it "it could have been a Kelly"
Same for me, but my lifestyle is not compatible with handbags that expensive.

Last year, we had a theme about being enabled. I've been enabled by @blydia too!

And you are lucky to be able to tie your gavs in such a way. My neck isn’t thick but it’s not slim, either, and I had to invest in a mors ring in order to wear my gavs so they aren’t constricting me.

Agreed about the bags and vip status. But I do think my SA loves my obvious appreciation for scarves. I think she doesn't see a lot of clients so focused on them and as enthusiastic. She and I were texting yesterday about what I can't wait to see next season

Re gavs, Xincinsin, I know! Very petite women can look like they are wearing a 70 with them!
Nettie is wearing a gav. They are much harder to style on her, so I had to work fast . Twillies are easier.

Thank you, Xincinsin. Cosmos is fabulous and was/is almost brand new when I bought it on the resale market. The pleats are quite tight and springy thus not easy to show the gorgeous design. I don’t wear it very often, not that I don’t love it.

My apologies for being a rather absent scarf mistress this week - RL swamped me

Sometimes, I am entranced by a design belonging to a scarf soul sister here, but maybe I can't find that exact CW or another CW suits me better.
I have two scarves for this week that were enabled by @Living.la.vida.fifi and acquired this year.

When H came out with the double-sided scarves, naturally I focussed on getting a C'est le Fete. Then when Fifi showed her beautiful colourful Della Cavalleria, I took a second look. My SA said they still had all the cws available, so I spent a couple of hours standing there debating the merits of each CW. In the end, I chose a more austere CW because both sides looked good with denim. This is the more monochromatic side with the chimeric animals in navy and a deep purple close to indigo.

The other scarf Fifi inspired me to buy is BdG Finesse. There are swirls of purple, red and blue lines all over the scarf. Goes very well with denim (my most useful H-excuse )

Both are truly special, Xincinsin, congratulations on acquiring both. I love your cw of Della and it might have been my preferred choice had it come along on the resale market. My Della, in the same cw as @Living.la.vida.fifi ’s (which is truly a gorgeous cw and I adore it), was an unexpected purchase. It was listed at The RealReal for an unbelievably low price - about half the retail price. And in almost new/unworn condition! What was I to do, right? I hope no one minds the occasional reference to deals, which are rare but not impossible.
