I adore Le Laboratoire du Temps! Your colorway is perfect with blonde hair Stunning.Hi, all! Very busy here, but here is my ‘fantasy’ scarf today — Le Laboratoire du Temps
This looks so fresh with a white shirt!Kawa Ora definitely fits this week's theme with its beautiful swirls of mythological fancy. I love this scarf and the story behind it but its name always reminds me of a fruit squash from when I was a kid; it makes me sing "I'll be your dog," every time I put it on!
Oh, that might be what I'm thinking of! I'll go track that down. Thank you, @momasaurus !You can always start a thread asking for advice about scarves to keep or let go. People are always doing that with their bag decisions. Don't we have a love it or leave it thread also? Go for it! We are here to help!
You and your "distraction" look just adorable together! Many apologies for being MIA this week, I have a small distraction around and we’ve been out gallivanting.
I am on topic today with Clovis the Crocodile - whoever heard of a gun-toting Crocodile?

Beautiful scarves, and thank you for the literary analysis as applied to H scarves. Sounds like a swell dissertation topic to me!Anthropomorphism is when we ascribe human characteristics to something non-human. So we find lots of fantastical talking animals or animals in human clothes or behaving like humans in H scarves.

Fairy Tales, horsehead "man" in Confessions, and scenes from Aesop's fables in Central Park.

Clovis in English and French, and a kingly lion and majestical duck in a couple of cute gavs.

Archetypes and personifications are a literary shortform when a single image represents a wealth of meanings and associations. H is very good at this when it comes to their own products and reputation.
Silk, parfum, leather goods and watches rendered into fantastical people in a set of sweet gavs.

And of course Super H, which not only is a symbol of H, but also in its multiple iterations indulges in a technique which I admire (yes, I'm a nerd) - Universe-Building. Not on the same level as Tolkien and Asimov, but hey, DR got me to buy 3 scarves which cost me more than my entire set of MiddleEarth tomes.

Tied in such a charming way! What are the gold pieces -- part of a necklace? This design is made in the tradition of tales telling about things coming alive at night.
According to the design history of this scarf, these bridles have come alive at night and are amusing themselves in the equipment chamber. When the morning comes they will docilely resuming their places.
Brides Rebelles, designed by Benoit Pierre Emery, SS2010, Bleu Ciel/Caban/Bronze
Is that a rather crabby looking teddy in your top scarf? I would love a Confident des Coeurs in medium soft green with a crabby teddy.Anthropomorphism is when we ascribe human characteristics to something non-human. So we find lots of fantastical talking animals or animals in human clothes or behaving like humans in H scarves.

To be honest, the teddies in Confidents aren't going to win Miss Congeniality. Most of them look grim. I'd like to get one of the blue cws. This cw I bought more because brown teddies is a lifelike cw.Is that a rather crabby looking teddy in your top scarf? I would love a Confident des Coeurs in medium soft green with a crabby teddy.

Did anybody explore the possibility of organizing a scarf swap through tPF? I remember this came up in a few posts earlier this summer, as to whether this would be sanctioned by the forums.
i would definitely be in !!!I would totally be up for a scarf swap if it's sanctioned!
