It's funny - I always think of this as a pink scarf, but someone else mentioned it was a black scarf; when I think about wearing it I usually bliss out about the silvery grey, but today I'm really enjoying the beautiful purples. This was an impulse purchase and such a happy one!
That is the perfect knot for this scarf! Really well done.

Kawa Ora definitely fits this week's theme with its beautiful swirls of mythological fancy. I love this scarf and the story behind it but its name always reminds me of a fruit squash from when I was a kid; it makes me sing "I'll be your dog," every time I put it on!
:giggle:
This is marvelous! Love it on the white shirt!

GAH!! I just love this!
Kachinas are spirit dolls. My actual SOTD. Newest purchase, so happy it is cool enough today to wear for first time!View attachment 4472130 View attachment 4472131
Such lovely pinks and blues - looks wonderful on you!
Lions, unicorns, dolphins and dragons form the imaginary bestiary that adorns the helmets, tunics and damask caparisons staged in the Duels Oniriques scarf. This one is my SOTD and again I am on theme. wow...twice in one week! Pinks paired with soft yellows give a sweet feminine touch to a simple dress.

I started out today with the scarf around my neck but ended up putting it on my fedora at the doctor's office.....their a/c was lacking today.
Sorry for the serious face....was doing it in a hurry before someone came in.
Love this color way!

Many apologies for being MIA this week, I have a small distraction around and we’ve been out gallivanting.
I am on topic today with Clovis the Crocodile - whoever heard of a gun-toting Crocodile?

This design is made in the tradition of tales telling about things coming alive at night.
According to the design history of this scarf, these bridles have come alive at night and are amusing themselves in the equipment chamber. When the morning comes they will docilely resuming their places.

Me, too! I've tried to clear my collection of all my "meh pieces" but I've been tracking how often I wear each scarf and I think I might still have a bit of "meh" in there!

Don't we have a theme coming up where we post scarves we've fallen out of love with? Or something like that?

ETA: I just went back to Page 1 and I'm wrong... this isn't one of our themes. Why did I think it was? Last year, maybe?
We had an Impulse Buy: Rave or Regret theme last year, I think. Perhaps we'll have something along those lines next year :girlsigh:

I am sorry, I really need your help here - is there a theme here or already a thread with scarves that offer the most variations bias-fold (like 4 different scarves in one ) ? Tbh I usually bias-fold my scarves or wear them in variations of bias fold, sometimes cowboy-style. Thank you for your help in advance.
Check the scarf reference thread for tying tutorials, and MaiTai has lots of bias fold variations on her website. (Then come back and show us pics!)

Oooh, lovely!

I said I'm not wearing my Animapolis enough. So here we go. Will be attempting various casual knots before I add the Cosmographia.
 I'm trying not to be enticed by Jan's next scarf :frown:

Did anybody explore the possibility of organizing a scarf swap through tPF? I remember this came up in a few posts earlier this summer, as to whether this would be sanctioned by the forums.
