I’m so tempted to get another colorway ......We are relatives on this one! Love the ring with it as well.
Gosh, Hola is incredible tied like that. You get the feeling that the dancer is wrapping her dress right around you. Utterly magnificent! For sure. Nobody is going to mistake me for a cowboy! But it's just a vibe I can't shake unless I'm wearing it with the most formal suit and shirt combo. It's kind of like my Hola Flamenca, which I pulled out to consider wearing this morning. (Mod shot with my sad-looking pajama shirt)

It's quite a sophisticated scarf, but it screams Minnie Mouse and Hello Kitty to me. I tried tying it on as a top to show off the design. I think that's pretty fab. I'll have to try this under a blazer or with a tank top this summer.
I decided to wear my brand new Tuiga as the SOTD. I was so thrilled to find this with tags still on it. I've been on the hunt for this colorway for ever. It will be perfect for summer. It's still cold and wet here, so not the most seasonal choice. But I couldn't resist doing a test run. I love it with my red glasses; the red hem really coordinates and pops nicely.

Looks like you will be nice and cosy though Croisette! Such a gorgeous CW.
Great job FR!Thanks Fizzywater! To answer your question:View attachment 4403169 It's a dark ultramarine/brighter navy, but not royal blue. I'm comparing them in this photo to Tout en Carre, Acte III, Zodiaque, and Turandot. The dark navy of the TeC looks almost black next to it. Acte III's center is almost exactly a match. Zodiaque is royal blue and much lighter and brighter. Turandot is the same shade, but a slightly warmer hue (a touch more violet than Tuiga). Hope that helps!
That's a fascinating perspective. It makes my appreciation and fondness for the scarf even deeper. This is one of those scarves I just couldn't unsee and spent a long time hunting down. Calling it Minnie Mouse isn't meant to be disparaging. It's really just what it feels like to me and I love it because of the association.
It's not hard! I think any good professional can manage. I'm a hobby seamstress and I managed to re-sew a rolled hem on a cheap vintage silk twill scarf that started falling apart after watching a couple of YouTube videos. My amateur job isn't too bad. I think it could be worthwhile, if the alternative is letting the scarf go unwornView attachment 4403172
These are all amazing on you.I am a repeat offender of buying same design in multiple formats and colors.
My first repeat was Au coeur de la vie. The red border one was the 3 rd H scarf I bought, the black border was my first boutique purchase, and things went rapidly after that!View attachment 4403478

But... but... but... it says Hermes in big capital letters! As a little funny aside, my DH is currently in the north of France with his parents and siblings. He rang me when he got to his hotel, all excited about telling me that the sofa in his sister's room was draped in an H scarf ( I think he's starting to "get" me at last!). He sent me a photo.....I had to tell him the truth, obviously, but said not to tell the owners. Unless, of course, they know and it's there because it is useless and valueless!! Definitely NOT a SOTD!!!!

Beautiful! But that mousseline is such a showstopper!Hello again Scarflandia!
Do some of the scarves in your scarf drawer have siblings? Did you maybe hit the Xerox copy button a few times when you saw a favorite scarf in another format? Have an original issue and then loved the remake as well? If so- this week is for you!
14 April 2019 FRATERNAL TWINS: same but not the same
This week we are celebrating scarves that have fraternal twins in your drawer (or maybe you're a fraternal twin with someone else this week and can post that? Maybe you have the original and they have a re-release or variation!) Put on your sideways thinking cap and hop in to your scarves!
I'll start with one of my favorites, Mythiques Phoenix. Luckily, I have managed to keep from having this one in multiples of the same format but when I first saw this pocket square online at H dot com I HAD to have it....

And last year the mousse stole:

I never actually intended to have multiples of Art des Steppes...but when I found a color coordinated tie of it for my pocket square....wellll....I decided it was going to have a sibling and MrBcat was just going to have to learn to like a tie that had a pattern on it!

Hahahahahahahahaha!!!!But... but... but... it says Hermes in big capital letters!
I have a few fakes at home - gifts from well-meaning friends. I'd craft with them but the silk is so thin that it would tear if I put a needle to it.
That MP moussie! Simply divine, bunnycat!Hello again Scarflandia!

So nice, we're twins. I'll try to get your CW next September.Fraternal twins with Croisette! I have another cw of Monte Carlo.
(Pardon the lack of smile. I was leaning backwards over the very wide and safe railing. The interesting cafe with the zigzag tiling behind me is 5 stories down)

Love your acid green, Meta!
Such a treasure, Anna!That’s a great collection!
Here is my La Rosee double mousseline, I have a carre in that design (with a very wide white border, as it were). If I look miserable, that’s because seasonal allergies have been killing me this week.
