Thanks Fizzywater! To answer your question:View attachment 4403169 It's a dark ultramarine/brighter navy, but not royal blue. I'm comparing them in this photo to Tout en Carre, Acte III, Zodiaque, and Turandot. The dark navy of the TeC looks almost black next to it. Acte III's center is almost exactly a match. Zodiaque is royal blue and much lighter and brighter. Turandot is the same shade, but a slightly warmer hue (a touch more violet than Tuiga). Hope that helps!

It does! I'll definitely be on the lookout for it. (I have the dark red already so I don't need-need it, but yours is a gorgeous cw.) Thank you so much!

I’m so tempted to get another colorway ......

Maitai ring is the best! So light weight.

I have the red one, and I really like it, if you are looking for another option :)

I always swore I would never buy a scarf in different cws. Then Samouraïs came along...View attachment 4404240View attachment 4404241View attachment 4404242View attachment 4404243

All these CWs are truly great for you.

As a little funny aside, my DH is currently in the north of France with his parents and siblings. He rang me when he got to his hotel, all excited about telling me that the sofa in his sister's room was draped in an H scarf ( I think he's starting to "get" me at last!). He sent me a photo.....I had to tell him the truth, obviously, but said not to tell the owners. Unless, of course, they know and it's there because it is useless and valueless!! Definitely NOT a SOTD!!!!

Ouch! I thought the French are very much against these types of items, but who knows.

It was a faux French restaurant called Cafe Richard. We went there for breakfast and were snubbed. The server refused to acknowledge our existence even though the place was almost empty  So full marks for decor, zero for service (poor service is unfortunately common in that country so we weren't angry - we just went elsewhere).

Here are my BdG siblings. H has reissued this so many times in so many variations that I collected only a few special versions: a 90 which was a very early issue, a gav which doubled as an invite, and the tiny doll-sized ones. So Big Sister, Little Sis and Baby Twins.

Very nice -- I only own one of these -- a vintage design that was a cheap eBay purchase, but I can definitely see the appeal of collecting all the vintage ones.

Off-topic, but SOTD is Aphorisme:

Wow, love the black-on-black with a pop of metal! Looks so chic.

I freely admit that Alice Shirley’s “Dans un Jardin Anglais” is a bit of a problem for me. So many fraternal twins, and I would gladly expand the family!

Wow. That is incredible! I have only one CW of that design, and I remember realizing it was amazing really late into the year when everything was sold out in London and NYC. So next thing I know, I was standing outside the Istanbul boutique to run in and grab one before my flight. It's still one of my most worn designs. Do you ever wear the bangles together with your scarf?

Thanks, they give me joy! I wear the pink bangle with the gavroche and I’ve worn the bright bangle with the teal twilly. Both also work well with several other H scarves. The blue don’t seem to go with any of the other DuJA pieces but I wear them with other H scarves. And all of them on their own! I live in SoCal so when it gets too hot for H scarves, I’m almost always wearing an H bangle.

I am practically green with envy!
(not really but omg - this is one of my favorites!)
Twins with you on the gav - even wearing it today by default! :giggle:
(but only because I had to go straight from the airport to the office - so no pictures :hrmm:)

OH, glad I really am twins with someone! Thank you, dear.

Please jump in!

Why not just re-frame "covet" as "be inspired by"??? LOL. I know this probably doesn't work. This orange trim is so fun. Also it's swift (actually called gulliver in 1997), which I love.

Thanks!
This is one of the few scarves I bought ONLY for the colors, but then I became really fascinated by the design. And today I wanted to be SPRING-Y!
You are SUCH an enabler, momasauras! And I do have an orange Trim on layaway already....Potiron chevre 24. What you truly did for me with this picture was solve my orange bag dilemma. I don't wear navy because it looks horrid with my skin tone. Black and orange are just too Oct. 31st. So, in the winter....Gray! I already have lots of cream and brown/beige for summer.
