Perfect - thank you for showing us!
And oh those hems - how they pop! [emoji173]️

I like it too!

+1

Beautiful, another stunning border! [emoji173]️

Thanks! (The twist just happened on its own I think because of the way I folded it...)

Love the colors on the Retour de Peche.

Any colorway of Tous les Bateaux!

I do like it. And I picked a softer scarf to try it with to see if it would "behave".

One of the best scarf designs ever! They are both wow ... but the red - WOW!
Thank you so much Cookiefiend, bunnycat & Langsam!

She had just pointed out and named every animal on the scarf. She was amused that I had difficulty with the owl, but said that there was no other way to fit it into the design. I think @HermesHope wrote on her blog about a non-H scarf she has which also gave her this upside-down bird problem.
FYI This is going to be my challenge scarf for our 12 May theme - I'm going to experiment with different knots to see if I can get the various animals in view. Such small victories in life make me happy

Yes, what an excellent memory you have! Mine is an Aspinall scarf called Owl in the City. I simply cannot get a good view of either of the two owls. I also like the two little mice in the corner, but I am put off by the huge branding white “A” right near them. Now this one would look good framed, in the right setting!

Now, back to Hermès!

Tous le Bateaux would be a great scarf to frame for a house that has a nautical theme.

Thanks! This is an old Les Tambours....They definitely don't make them like this anymore in terms of detailing....I'd say that's frame worthy. The color shading on the drums is wow! (Tiny is modeling...he is a very skittish ex feral...)

Beautiful -- thanks for sharing. They don't make these softer pastel colors much, either. I know we are getting brighter, crisp colors, but some of these slightly older ones are just so appealing.

That's a beautiful kitty -- ours is allegedly also a former feral, but he is a very confident guy who loves to nap on my silks :)

Beautiful! (Love the color of your Massai too...)

Thank you! I have had the bag forever, and it's super convenient for running errands. They are so inexpensive on the resale market these days, I might pick up another one as well.

Spending a very quiet afternoon reading on the lanai with Au Clair de la Mer - very cute and light but might not frame well... I’m OT! [emoji38]

Are you in Hawaii? That's a gorgeous color on you, and you really wear pochettes so well. What a fun design, too!

That's a great scarf, but I can see how it challenging to show off the design. Love the deep blue color though!

Doubled down on the navy and black today with RdS. It's so elegant, but I can't get away from the country western flavor when it's tied. View attachment 4400525
Simply no way this elegant scarf with the somewhat muted sophisticated colors looks c&w. First of all, you'd need a ten gallon hat. And jean jacket. And well worn boots with mud on them. Or really fancy boots (for dresswear). Even if you substituted your jacket for the jean one you'd still have to have the hat and boots. I speak from experience -- I worked in ag. So, if you're wearing a bandana or Les Mustangs instead of RdS I'd say, ok, works for me.

This is truly a worthwhile endeavor in life, sorta like pulling a sword out of a tree that it's stuck in, you know, mythic. And if any creature is mythic, it's owls, particularly upside-down owls.

I think I passed a comment where someone said these owls look like the H Canadian owls. I agree. It's interesting that
your owls are "city" owls and the H Canadian owls are wilderness owls but they both look alike.

A lovely lavender Tambours!

Thank you Croisette! It almost went to the sale pile, as I have other purple scarves I wear a lot more, but every time I see the intricate drums I just put it back in "my" pile....I have an awful lot of the "mine" pile....

Love that peachy pink Cookie! (And those cute pineapples!) :)

That is such a wonderfully rendered scarf HH, but I the owl dilemma would drive me nuts!

Tiny us not confident...but is often mistaken around the house for Frieda as they are similarly colored. (Frieda is not amused...) I love the look of the Massai, but worry about the strap. I have really narrow slopey shoulders, and the Evelyne is one of the few bags that will stay on me comfortably so that is my go-to bag.

This is lovely bunnycat. The cowboy knot is my go to knot, sometimes the knot is tied in front and sometimes I bring the ends to the back of my neck and tie them there for a cleaner look which is my favorite as in this style last week.View attachment 4401856

I prefer a clear knot as well. I'll have to try tying behind my neck. :flowers:

Tiny is completely lovely - is there a scarf in the picture as well?

Tiny is cute but a very anxious cat. He's a bit "high maintenance" and put up with modeling the "Les Tambours" for a few seconds for me. :)
