Off-topic, but this gave me a rare opportunity to do something which would make DH roll eyes if he were awake and walked in on me. DH had to work overnight, and he emailed me this strange schedule which said he had to do something for GOT from 10pm to 4am :confused1:. The lightbulb just switched on literally and figuratively at 6am: he is part of the team getting Game of Thrones ready for same-day telecast as in the US! So he is totally zonked out now and I'm in the kitchen attaching Lettres to the fridge!

I think Hello Kitty magnets are a great touch :)

A tad too early for Easter, but I do think puzzle patterns like Couvees would look great on the wall, especially if you have an H-mate come over to do the detective game with you
(I found a metal wall, so I whipped out some magnets for an impromptu art session!)

And for some more fun and games, the magic eye scarves Magic Kelly and Rendez-vous au 24 would be great on a wall. I wonder if anyone would believe me if I claimed Magic Kelly was a lenticular design and the Kelly turns into a Birkin from certain angles?

Your magnetic solution gave me a thought. I wonder if that would be a good way to hang scarves — have a bit of square magnetic metal to which the scarf can be secured with magnets? This feels easier to set up than the standard wall hanging kit.

And I would love a Birkin-Kelly design like that!

It was the metal wall that reminded me of the fridge.
Doesn't have to be metal. The stationery stores sell magnetic whiteboards. I think it would be quite a presentable solution: buy a squarish whiteboard, replace the frame with something better, and then use novelty magnets - I have a lovely set made to look like faceted diamonds (or DIY your own magnets!).
And it can be used for other practical stuff if you decide down the road not to use it for scarf display.

Oh, and I forgot - Welcome back, AnnaE! :hugs:

I often think about which scarf I'd frame. The most likely would be one I don't wear for fear of ruining it and I don't buy those because I like to wear them. One of my Napoleons would be a good choice because I am afraid to wash them. Other choices would be seasonal, a snow-scape in the Winter like my cw of Canadian Wild or Passage a Moscou. ABdlM would be a good choice because it is after a painting ad I have 3 cws. Plaines is just splendid and I have 2 oil paintings of First Nation people in my sitting room already so he would have good company. Versailles is absolutely glorious, great impact ad so much detail, this would be beautiful in a bedroom, as would ZP (one of my bedrooms is quite psychedelic). My office opens out on to my garden so perhaps AS' Jardin in the NBS edition or the CdlV in the 'tropical' cw as I love bright flowers in the garden.

Truthfully though, if I'm 'feeling' a scarf I'd want to wear it so I'd be pulling it back off the wall LOL

Hold on, why are you afraid to wash the Napoleon?

Good idea. I need to figure out if we have enough wall real estate for this... we have gone a bit crazy on art buying lately, and all the wall space is at a premium. I would love to rotate out scarves though!

Here are some that would look great in a wall, although I would never frame La Femme aux Semelles de Vent and Mythiques Phoenix because I wear them way too much...

Fabulous choices!
I have always admired that beautiful colorway of MP. Gorgeous.

Hi, all! It’s been a while. I have been traveling like mad, barely having time to unpack and repack. Things have calmed down over here, and I was able to pick up this Sweet Dreams from my home boutique today. Still a bit terrified of wearing wool, but I saw Fifi’s scarf on Instagram, and it was contagious! View attachment 4399352
Congrats! Would love to see a flat pic of this.
