And the overall winner of 2019 goes to Act3 CSGM in the blue/ pink CW.
Love this design in a large format. Depending on how draped and folded, it looks a bit different. The colors are perfect for me as I wear a lot of navy. It also goes with 2 pink cardigans that none of my other CSGMs work with.
I have already worn it quite often. View attachment 4625712 View attachment 4625713 View attachment 4625714 View attachment 4625715View attachment 4625717
This is so lovely, scarf1; this may be the CSGM I buy. Not sure yet. Love, love, love this cw. I wear alot of blue and navy, too.

I do love that Act3 on you! And you know that model pic of the SF cosmogphia sold me on being your twin, LOL!

Thank you!

Yes, was in Sintra.

Here's my runner-up for the holiday season, the bandana Ex-Libris mousseline. The plaid and green was perfect complement to red sweaters for the festive season without being too obvious. Alas, I only have a pic wearing it back in Summer, not this holiday season. :sweatdrop:

Happy 2020 everyone! :dothewave:
Such a fantastic silk, especially in this fabulous CW!

This was a busy year of scarf collecting - **9** after I counted them all up! Mostly from S/S 2019. Here are three faves acquired this year:
Most Sophisticated award: Pivoines, Blu Lac colorway
View attachment 4628087
Tied for Most Versatile and Most Fun awards: Cosmographia, a dream with my denim-intensive wardrobe:
View attachment 4628094

And, the "Finally Mine" award goes to L'Ivresse de l'Infini, a personal grail ever since I saw this colorway modeled on the highly inspirational blog Hymnes au Carres, when I first started collecting. Recent acquisition!View attachment 4628099
Love them all, but especially that sublime CW of Pivoines! How did I miss that? Gorgeous! And, beautifully tied

Great finds, fifi ... congrats!
Thank you so much!

Squished into the Singapore-Kuala Lumpur shuttle for a quick trip to DH's favourite destressing spot aka mountaintop casino. Taking flight with fave scarf from SS19, the latest addition to my flock of phoenixes: Mythiques Phoenix 70.

I just fainted... all gorgeous! But, with the most amazing being the H en Fil moussie... A treasure! And, your mod pics of bronze Pivoines were what motivated me to get mine... Gorgeous!

My SOTD as I go run some errands is making it’s debut today, and I must give it the Best Border award: Panoplie Equestre. Almost every time I’ve visited the Hermès store, for over a year, I try on a different CW of this fabulous design, but they’re all so wonderful, that I’ve had a very difficult time deciding. But, finally this one is mine. Got it right before Thanksgiving and, with the holiday silks taking precedence, I had set it aside until today

And, two more to add to the Finally Mine category...
First, Les Ailes de la Soie. When I visited Hermès in Paris in 2015, this silk caught my eye, but didn’t come home with me. My passion for H scarves was just seriously beginning and I never pursued the design until it was too late and I deeply regretted it.... until this past year. So happy that it’s finally mine!

And, another silk that I’ve obsessed over ever since I saw @lanit model it, was this CW of Tsubas. I already owned two other CWs, but this one proved quite elusive. I am thrilled to have found it this past year

Always so serenely beautiful - you've attained some gorgeous Grails this year!
I think I would soon as well over that marvelous H en Fil!

Oh, I have a lot of Grails,
I have searched over hills and dales.
When I find one of those beauties,
I race to show all you cuties!

This year, I found several,
And I’ve been ‘mostly‘ careful,
But my wallet - the poor dear -
has gone quite mental. :giggle: :panic: :giggle:

Best Supporting Grail - Fleurs d’Ecosse

And the Oscarf goes to Ex Libris en Kimonos. I never thought I’d find this - they’re always so outrageously priced - but I had been watching this one for a long time, and when she started to reduce it... I pounced once it came into my range! Woot! I love how different it looks based on how you tie it and which corners are shown - so versatile!

Happy New Year to both of you
hahaahaaa!!
Thanks for the clarification, Cookiefiend. I don’t live near an H store. In fact, the only H I’ve ever visited is the one in LHR. But I will check them out on H.com. And someday visit H (Madison Ave, most likely) to try on these formats!
Of course!! :hugs:
They're hard to find on the website - and in the stores - you'll even have to ask your SA if they have any available! But they are far and away my favorite format. I just love them.

Thank you, eliwon. Is a summer silk another name for a mousseline?
Someone with more expertise will hopefully chime in re the weight difference between a Summer Silk and the ordinary Silk Twill, but no, Summer Silk is entirely different from the moussies, which are a world into themselves:-) Older moussies are more slightly more crepey/more sturdy, whereas the more recent ones are extremely thin and whispy. If you get the chance to compare all these varieties you will certainly see and feel the difference;-)
