Oscarf! These are just perfect !!!!2019 has been an amazing year - my wallet is in a coma though, the poor thing.
I’ve debated on how to start this week - there are many worthy entries and it’s hard to choose. I decided to start in mousseline.

Index looks fantastic in this CW! Congrats. That design really was a winner. And the CWs were all great.View attachment 4626707 This Index Palmarium was an unexpected purchase. Even though it’s only two colors there is something about the scarf in person ...the colors just stand out and are so beautiful to me. Love the way it looks with this sweater...(but in the photo I see it needs some de-pilling, yikes!)
Thank you, CroisetteAnd a special big thank you to xincinsin for her great explanations!

Okay, one of my runner-ups is the Mythiques Phoenix pareo that I bought this year. Yes, totally cheating (not technically a scarf) but I wore it so much when it was warm out!

Was the last photo taken in Sintra?
It was most definitely my most worn this year! I"m so glad you found one!Thank you!
Yes, it was!
@Cookiefiend Love your Jardin Anglais gavroche of course. But are you sure you bought it this year?I caved in and bought mine last year after seeing endless pics of you and @bunnycat wearing it.
Or perhaps I misunderstood that it's the gavroche you wore the most this year?

Then I thought "This is not the first time I didn't follow the rules <my eyebrows at my hairline, your eyebrows at your hairline, general looks of disapproval from the peanut gallery> and yet they still allow me to be Team Scarf Mistress - proudly displaying my Special Beanie Cap complete with Twirly Top™, and my Super Secret Decoder Ring!")![]()

This is such a yummy CW... When I was contemplating on which Kermit Oliver scarf to get in the wash format it was this Kachinas I was thinking about... And, I also walk the dogs with a scarf!View attachment 4626706 Mist worn scarf if the year - Kachinas Wash in the pink and blue color way. Honestly didn’t think I’d love it as much as I do...
(Excuse the wet coat - cold and rainy today.... I even walk the dog wearing my scarves...)
It is fantastic! I got the black, but have been thinking about either your blue or the red as a second one... Stunning!View attachment 4626707 This Index Palmarium was an unexpected purchase. Wonderful! I always learn something from you!The "Mystery Solved" award goes to Toute en Carre ascot. I've been puzzling over this scarf for more than a year, ever since the scarf booklet pic was posted in another thread. I kept wondering about the unknown format. The mystery nagged at me. What a relief it was for me to finally find out that it was a ladies ascot, and marietouchet sweetened the deal by chiming in with some added info about it!

The company where I work gives out awards: best actor, best documentary, best editing, etc. There is a newbie award called the Green Apple. This is my Green Apple for 2019: Step Into the Frame designed by Vincent Leroy, aka "Reve de Mecanique Elementaire" in other colourways. I'm keeping an eye out for more designs from him. It appeals to the steampunk in me
