Excellent choices PT and how I love your moussie bandana! That green is killer!

Just beautiful and I love it on you!

One of the best things about the scarves are just how much fun we have with them! I giggle every time I see that picture!

Such a lovely pink!

Truly a Oscarf worthy beauty!

Hi twin - JL in the grays and black is a stunner for sure!
And your NaF24 is marvelous!
Thanks so much! My DH chose well with JLR in this CW... I would have never chosen it and I am in love... And, over the moon with Noel... And, do I really have to wait until next Christmas?!

2019 has been an amazing year - my wallet is in a coma though, the poor thing.
I’ve debated on how to start this week - there are many worthy entries and it’s hard to choose. I decided to start in mousseline.

Pure deliciousness all! But, I totally agree as far as the Grand Prize winner.... It is sublime!

Thank you ladies! :flowers:

@scarf1 The Rose Denim color family really suits you to a T  I can see why the Acte III was your winner as it looks fab on you! :ps:

@Croisette7 Love the Carnavale des Oiseaux on you :heart:

@Living.la.vida.fifi Your Noel au Faubourg definitely takes the cake of all your silks! Would you be so kind to share how you tied it here please? TIA! Also did you decide on the Sieste au Paradis? ;)

@Cookiefiend The BdG en Finesse makes you glow, much like your Quadrige so
Thank you so very kindly! I am delighted with my Noel... And, as far as SaP, I kept both!!! I fell hard for the colorful one, but just couldn’t send back the blue one as it has a completely different vibe and I know I would regret it later... As far as the knot on the Noel, it is a bow knot that I fanned and spread out a bit more. So, I hold the scarf flat in front of me and make bellow folds from top to bottom to create a long tube. Then, I insert a regate or bolduc type of scarf ring through one end to the middle of the “tube.” Then, I take the two top corners and tie behind my neck so that now the ring is right in front of my neck. Then, I take the two corners coming down in front and tie them into a bow. The look achieved depends on how loosely or tightly you make the bow.

Twins on the blue pivoines. It was my only 90 from SS19.

but that red Noel is amazing! Love that!

Love that pink Sieste! Wish the 90 had come in the colorations of the 140s.
So happy to be your twin on this amazing Pivoines! And, the Noel has become one of my most cherished treasures

My award goes to Jan Bajtlik.
I simply adore his playful scarves.
Absolutely! This was Bajtlik’s year. You wear them beautifully! And I am so happy to own all three of his designs!

Annie Faivre’s Ballets Russes pays tribute to the legendary ballet company that operated in Paris in the first decades of the 20th century under its founder Sergei Diaghilev and featuring principal dancer Nijinsky. The figures featured on the carré’s illustration all represent characters from different ballets performed by the company. Many of the costumes designed by Leon Bakst are featured
Thank you for the fascinating background information on Les Ballets Russes, @Living.la.vida.fifi . I'm your twin on this scarf. :ghi5:
Now I'm off to research Leon Bakst! :olympics:

Oh. My. Goodness.
These are all stunning...
LC - I love this design, so intricate. Acte III - perfect in this format, both you and @scarf1 have made perfect choices. And RdS in that cw? Be still my heart!
Thanks so much! My DH chose well with JLR in this CW... I would have never chosen it and I am in love... And, over the moon with Noel... And, do I really have to wait until next Christmas?!

Thank you! My face still looks like this  :girlsigh:  each time I see it.
(And there’s a little of this :panic: too!)

Love that acte iii!

View attachment 4626706 Mist worn scarf if the year - Kachinas Wash in the pink and blue color way. Honestly didn’t think I’d love it as much as I do...
(Excuse the wet coat - cold and rainy today.... I even walk the dog wearing my scarves...)

View attachment 4626707 This Index Palmarium was an unexpected purchase. Even though it’s only two colors there is something about the scarf in person ...the colors just stand out and are so beautiful to me. Love the way it looks with this sweater...(but in the photo I see it needs some de-pilling, yikes!)

Beautiful choices! Kachinas was spectacular in that colorway!

I finally caught up on this thread and after taking count, realized that I actually acquired 10 scarves this year!  Granted, one is a pareo and another a surprise gift from DH but still... :sweatdrop:

My Mademoiselle Soie award definitely goes to my first exceptional silk, the Balade en Berline marble silk.

I will hopefully be back with my other runner ups! :giggle:

Thank you so much for posting this - your pictures when originally posted was the final trigger for me - hunted down the last one on The British Isles according to the SA at H in Knightsbridge - an early Christmas present from me to me - enjoy :-)

:congrats: on both Sieste au Paradis! And thank you so much for the instructions on the knot. I'll give it a go this week. :flowers: :ty:

Pleasure! :D Pleased that I've enabled quite a few on this exceptional silk. :giggle: ;)

Okay, one of my runner-ups is the Mythiques Phoenix pareo that I bought this year. Yes, totally cheating (not technically a scarf) but I wore it so much when it was warm out!

And here's a mod shot, caught unaware by DH while travelling. I forgot my hat and used it as a wrap to try and shield myself from the :sunshine:

So pretty on you, Meta!

The Carnevale des Oiseaux is stunning and the silk really accentuates the colors.
