This scarf is so elegant on you, lanit. And the next two scarves (femme aux semelles and PaM) are breathtaking.
Thank you dear, and thank you everyone for the likes and compliments. Work has been chaotic so it’s hard to reply and thank you for your individual comments. Happy with these vintage silks in my tansu.:flowers:

Loving looking at everyone’s cool beauties—been lax on the P&P (photo & post) lately, but feeling a need for a narcissistic boost, catching up.
Saturday was “Wreaths Across America” day when D.A.R. Members here hosted a small ceremony and laid more than 473 wreaths on the graves of veterans of all America’s wars. Wore my gavroche for Bel Ami, H parfum promo and name of my D.A.R. Ancestor on a memorable 45 to 75-degree winter day. BTW: In Texas, winter is the only time we see all four seasons—and quite often on the same day.

Sunday brought out pareo Mythiques Phoenix and matching headband for a swim-exercise day at the Y. You might say these are almost icy colors in bleu nuit, etc.

Monday’s Plummeting temps called for heavily wrapping up in CSGM Tous Les Bateaux du Monde, a bit of a workhorse for me, paired with L’Air de Paris gav to keep the darn turtleneck tight. Boats floating in warm waters, perhaps, but the icy-toned border is closing in!

I always think of this Les Fêtes du Roi Soleil as very ‘icy’ / steely. Finally on topic!))

So pretty on you!

Definitely frost forming on his beard :P

Lol!

It’s not advisable to wear this in the water, but here’s the scuba diving monkey on Annie Faivre’s Chemins de Corail. ;)

Reminds me of the campaign where the models were jet-skiing with silk scarf head wraps.

Beautiful scarves and such a wonderful thing that you do!

That border is spectacular!

So nicely complements your other layers

Beautifully icy!

A girl after my own heart

Like dear fifi, my collex tends towards stronger color. However, a few debatably icy silks have snuck in the mix:
- Tohu Bohu (SOTD) with a snowy white base somehow lured me away from it’s bolder siblings. I find it utterly refreshing & play to the scattered punches of color scattered within (or without; the yellow hem is quite attention grabbing) :graucho:
Scarves for me (and for you) mainly mean a pop of color, right? But, sometimes, there is a pale beauty out there that is irresistible... Tohu Bohu is one of those designs that is amazing in every single CW I’ve seen... Love this pale beauty

Thank you Fifi! I hope you will find yours soon. As I mentioned to @Cookiefiend I will take a picture of it flat, I know I have the colourway somewhere too....:flowers:
Oh, please, fo show us! Would greatly appreciate it

This CW has been on my wishlist FOREVER! It is stunning on you!

Wow, this ties incredibly!

Perfect ensemble.

Icy indeed! Lovely

What a wonderful selection, as always
Thank you so much!

Beautiful twin!

Thank you, dear Maedi!

Thank you kindly, fifi!

Fabulous ... as always, dear!

So cute, turfnsurf!
Thanks so much!

With rosé Plaisirs du froid today

That swinging fringe!! A scarf that is most appreciated when tied... Lovely

For me, you're one of those ladies who can wear any colour you want, Living.la.vida.fifi. These scarves to the blouses - simply gorgeous.
What a lovely thing to say... Thank you most kindly!

Stunning, Fifi. In the pic with the big bow jewelry, is that a pin/brooch and how do you anchor it? Through a part of the know w/o piercing the silk fabric? I’m curious.
Thank you so much! Yes, it’s a vintage brooch from the 1940s. Sometimes I make a knot and very carefully insert the pin back through the loop and close. Other times, I use a clear lucite scarf ring to fasten my scarf and insert the pin back through the lucite ring. The first method works well when the brooch is large. If the brooch is smaller, I use the lucite ring. I was going to PM pics to you, but since there may be others interested, I will post a sequence of pics here later.

OMG the MP pareo and hatband combo is drop-dead gorgeous! And, the Bateaux CSGM is a dream!

Totally off topic with Fouets et Badines on a chilly day.
I've been enjoying everyone's pale beauties this week!

This is one of my fav designs... Always looks right and that border! Looks amazing on you

I wasn't interested in this design when I saw it flat, but I must admit that you and @Living.la.vida.fifi are slowly but surely changing my mind.
It is a fabulous design... I haven’t seen a CW I don’t like...

Thank you for sweet comments on scarves, and I will pass along the compliment to the wonderful D.A.R. Members who spend almost a year every year preparing and raising money for Wreaths Across America.

Thank you! The “hat band” is really designed to do a bit as a bathing cap, not perfect hair control but very pretty!

Goodness - that border!
I am giving my Christmas scarves a rest today, and bringing out Jeux de Cartes, my SOTD. What drew me to this CW was that icey grey background with cool creams
