I'm a newcomer to gavroches. Bought my first one perhaps 2 years ago? I put them in a box and (shhhhh....) they breed.... :giggle:

The above is an exercise in colour contrast which works because of the bicolour Mors: cold silver vs warm gold, both colours also present as accent colours in the scarves.
Usually, I try to coordinate, which is easy because my gavs are stored by colour family. I also tend to consciously match disparate subject matter.

How do you wear the gavroche? Sometimes I love their design but not sure how to use them. Any photos would be brilliant !

So sometimes I just wear it folded around the neck as a mock turtle neck, or in a triangle. But the SA showed me this knot that creates a lot of volume and I think works great with gavroches. I am sure lots of other members will know it and will be much better than me at it, but I will try to demonstrate:

I am using this Brides de Gala gavroche:

First you place it upside down in a flat surface. Then you pick opposite ends and bring them side by side like so:

Then you turn the scarf and bring the two folded ends together into a small knot:

Then you turn the scarf again and fluff it a bit and adjust to which parts of the print you want to show and so,

Then you place the scarf around your neck, with the small knot towards the front on the inside and then bring the two loose ends to the back of your neck and tie;

I am showing it here just with a top so that is clear (although not sure that was clear enough?) but I like it with a jacket or coat, it kind of makes the most of the little fabric, I think, but feels so light you forget you’re wearing a scarf.

You style them beautifully. I only have two, having focused on 90s, but it is a size I am appreciating more and more.

Your phoenix is gorgeous! You are opening the door to temptation!

I like this very much! Thank you for taking the trouble to post - will have to try it ... I had my eye on one for a while hope it’s still available

This is the tie I was trying to remember in my post of 10 ways to tie a pocket square. It's a lot of fun! (It's way #7 in my pocket square post.)

It also works fab on the bandana size as well.

Wow! I LOVE this knot! :tender: No edges. Lol!

Ah, glad to be of assistance to a master... I actually thought I was replying to that message of @ladysarah in another thread and didn’t realize it was here and all the great ideas that had been posted. I am keeping your list in a safe place!
