That border is spectacular!

So nicely complements your other layers

Beautifully icy!

A girl after my own heart

Like dear fifi, my collex tends towards stronger color. However, a few debatably icy silks have snuck in the mix:
- Tohu Bohu (SOTD) with a snowy white base somehow lured me away from it’s bolder siblings. I find it utterly refreshing & play to the scattered punches of color scattered within (or without; the yellow hem is quite attention grabbing) :graucho:

Looks so good! Love the lipstick / pendant combination as well.

This is one of my rare ventures into the realms of pale scarfs. Not very sure why I bought it. I think I was in one of those moods when I felt an irrational need to step out of my comfort zone :whut: At least it's by a fave designer

I like it, but I know why you mean by venturing out of comfort zone and pale scarves... I have a few bought on the same impulse :)

A slight diversion, a wee fork in the road, and maybe a little OT - but - Scarf Mail!
I’ve eyeballed Tous Les Bateaux du Monde for quite a while now and idly pondered CWs. But thought - eh - would I like those boats? Is that kinda weird? But I’d see it here and - I gotta
confess - That Border Is Flat Out Incredible. I found one I couldn’t resist, and ZOMG its gorgeous! And no one ever said anything about the beautiful celadon green! :panic::yahoo::panic:

Wow, this ties incredibly!

A cold day in North Texas...Bal des Bulles

Perfect ensemble.

Actual SOTD. Chasse en INde CSGM in the Ciel / white/ green CW.
It was very cold but sunny today for our trip to the city for a festive lunch. DH pointed out that it hadd a very icy feel... so maybe even on topic.View attachment 4616718 View attachment 4616719

Icy indeed! Lovely

Well, I don’t own many scarves to fit this week’s theme as I usually gravitate towards strong color, but here are two pale wonders that I enjoy...

We are twins and I love this scarf. So happy for you! Yes, the GREEN and the little bits of PEACH also!

How did you do that knot? The border just blooms!
Now you've got me wondering if I should start scouting for this design too

Loved your intro dear cookie. I also am a fan of the Narnia Chronicles. It was the first intro to Turkish Delight lol. I happen to love white and silvery silks and happy to share a few.

Recent men’s stole Tinos and past favorite stole Collection Equestre.Alliances du Monde mousseline and two holiday silks Noel au 24 Faubourg and de Passage a Moscou. Speaking of wintry whites, white roses in the the house this past month.

This scarf is so elegant on you, lanit. And the next two scarves (femme aux semelles and PaM) are breathtaking.

Beautiful twin!

This is so beautiful and makes me yearn for more scarves in colors like your Paperoles.
Thank you, dear Maedi!

What a great intro... Love the Snow Queen and Narnia! I’ve been trying to be a white unicorn/maiden/witch hybrid creature for years for Halloween and still haven’t gotten it together.... Maybe 2020?!
That Filigrane is amazing! Another one for my wishlist... If I could only get so lucky!

Oh, so beautiful in this CW!!

Oh my goodness, I don’t think I’ve ever seen this CW of Millefleurs! And, I thought I wanted a more colorful one, but nope! This is going straight to the top of my wishlist... Lovely!

Every single one simply dreamy. Yu wear these soft, muted shades so beautifully! My favorite has got to be De Passage a Moscou in this amazing CW! What a treasure!

Thanks so much... I’ve decided to keep both

What a beautiful post this is... Sets the mood perfectly... This LP is a luscious, delicious confection

Amazing shawl, and what a beautifully composed picture! Safe travels!

I so relate to your thoughts and reflection about reading the scarf thread... Beautifully said

OMG looks amazing on you! So happy to be your twin on this amazing silk!

Looks totally icy cool and very elegant
Thank you kindly, fifi!

The yellow hem is delicious!

I always think of this Les Fêtes du Roi Soleil as very ‘icy’ / steely. Finally on topic!))
I completely forgot you had this steely beauty - it’s gorgeous!
What a knot!!
 Thank you!

The photos just don’t do justice to the celadon and peach - they are just the perfect accent!

Well - you’ll have plenty of company and it’s FAB!
The knot is the Edot, I learned it from the Passion For Elegance blog. It’s not too complicated, and I don’t use a scarf ring, I just tie a knot in one end.
With rosé Plaisirs du froid today

:wtf: This came in rose?!?
Oh my goodness - Croisette that’s beautiful!

I love the way you brought out the colours in that beautiful scarf, Cookiefiend. I wish H would finally offer this colour combination in a large cashmere/silk scarf. I've been waiting for this colourcombo for so long.

Somehow I missed this post, but WOW! I love this CW. I am looking for a better Paperolles than the gold one I have. This is so gorgeous!
