AnnaE, I agree. It was another member, HermesHope, who helped make this scarf a reality for me with her wonderful scarf essays on her blog. That MT Cut makes me wonder why I don't have one yet!
Love these colors --- so elegant.

Tute is here at the bottom of page 6, post 85. I couldn't find Bova's original instructions, so I created a new one.

So true!thank you!
i probably more than anyone wear my H scarves with jeans and other casual outfits, and this is one the those that 'you can't go wrong with'![]()
What a pretty scarf, Cookiefiend.SOTD is - again - a bit of a stretch.
Tourbillon means whirlwind, but think of when you see the autumn leaves dancing in the wind. So beautiful, as is this changeant moussie.

(I didn’t really catch the colors in today’s pic, so this last one is to show that better - thanks for indulging me!

Darn! I hate when that happensI don’t have any 140 cashmeres, new cold office requires an exec wardrobe, shucks I guess I’ll have to buy some now.
Great colorways, MAGJES, esp. the soft blue. It kind of shimmers. As I’ve mentioned in earlier posts, I have this scarf in a red plisse. But I could see myself acquiring a carre in this design someday, although my general rule is not to acquire any one particular design in multiple cws, prices being what they are.My contribution today.

Thank you sweetie! What a pretty scarf, Cookiefiend.
I have the same general rule, but there are a few that I have made an exception for… and a few I 'accidentally' acquired.Great colorways, MAGJES, esp. the soft blue. It kind of shimmers. Thank you!Lovely scarf1! I would have, but mine's a pocket square, and its definitely not pocket square weather.
Thank you!Where do you even find all these changeant moussies!
This is a Savana Dance treasure trove!
Wow -- very nice
Oh no! Hope you heal quickly! So you know how I said I was back and then disappeared? Guess who got pink eye in both eyes shortly thereafter? I am still largely self-quarantined and avoiding screens, but wore this Acte III to the eye doctor today (the eye you can see is a ‘better’ eye).
Love both of these! You do look great in green!Dancing up a storm on Swinging Saint-Germaine - you know there was some Champagne poured!

Oops! Sorry to make you sad. The Marwari horse is still around, but there is a subset known for its dancing that is now extinct. Not a horse person, so please correct my terminology.Oh I hate to hear that the Marwari horse is extinct. I’m off to read about them, the blue scarf is beautiful.

Gorgeous, scarf1. That is one design that is soooo elusive, or too expensive, for me. I’d LOVE a 70 vintage in the black and fuscia and so wish I’d known about it after Hermès released it, when? 2016? But I was not a scarfie back then, if memory serves. I think I was just beginning to become aware of Scarflandia but would have NEVER considered purchasing such an expensive item. Anyway, it is indeed an elusive design, for me.Can’t believe no one has showed Savana Dance yet this week.

Just loved watching that! This plus your previous post created a fab’ tutorial. Is it too silly to note that the animated Mulan wore water sleeves when meeting her MatchMaker?
SOTD is Cadre Noir featuring vignettes of the elite teachers & their mounts from the French National Riding School, the École Nationale d’Équitation. The Noir comes from the black coats worn by the riders. Such advanced horsemanship truly creates a dance; especially when several mounts are involved.
Of course I love the horse illustrations in this, but am also loving this particular perfect-for-the-holidays green and contrasting hem (which I really ought to highlight better next time)
