Bravo! Love your changeants!

Poor dear Iflola ... :giggle: Have fun! :hugs:

That monkey is definitely a reluctant partner in this dance

You could give this video a go. It's rather OTT - the sleeves are super long for dramatic effect. And most Chinese operas have water sleeves wielded usually by some heartbroken actress

Beautiful video!

Just loved watching that! This plus your previous post created a fab’ tutorial. Is it too silly to note that the animated Mulan wore water sleeves when meeting her MatchMaker? :giggle:

SOTD is Cadre Noir featuring vignettes of the elite teachers & their mounts from the French National Riding School, the École Nationale d’Équitation. The Noir comes from the black coats worn by the riders. Such advanced horsemanship truly creates a dance; especially when several mounts are involved.

Of course I love the horse illustrations in this, but am also loving this particular perfect-for-the-holidays green and contrasting hem (which I really ought to highlight better next time)

very cool! Lovely tie also!

Love the way you tied it. I must learn to do this look!
I haven't seen Cadre Noir in this cw before. If you have the chance, do show it flat. Thanks!

SOTD is - again - a bit of a stretch. :giggle:
Tourbillon means whirlwind, but think of when you see the autumn leaves dancing in the wind. So beautiful, as is this changeant moussie.

(I didn’t really catch the colors in today’s pic, so this last one is to show that better - thanks for indulging me! :hugs:

Where do you even find all these changeant moussies!

Can’t believe no one has showed Savana Dance yet this week.

This is a Savana Dance treasure trove!

Wow -- very nice

:loveeyes:69•F, Weather is great for a Maxi Twilly Cut. And rainbow Love Jungle is an extra if needed.
Just running errands today.:hbeat:

That MT Cut makes me wonder why I don't have one yet!

Ksuromax, what a great scarf and perfect for denim! I’m always interested in casual-looking scarves that pair well with denim and other blue jean colors. Plus, darker blues and other saturated colors look decent on me. That’s why Les Secrets de Minos in the navy and tan is one of my workhorses.

Love these colors --- so elegant.

So you know how I said I was back and then disappeared? Guess who got pink eye in both eyes shortly thereafter? I am still largely self-quarantined and avoiding screens, but wore this Acte III to the eye doctor today (the eye you can see is a ‘better’ eye).

 Your smile still looks beautiful as always . Hope your eyes get well soon;)

Dancing Pearls - before I figured out that brown isn't my colour. I really need to find this a loving home :crybaby:

I think the colors work, but if it doesn’t feel right, then it doesn’t feel right!

Awooooo in this CW is my most-worn scarf this year (says the Excel spreadsheet). It's just so easy to throw on and the beautiful fur softens up any outfit. It looks great on you with stripes!

I am impressed you track what you wear. I can only manage to keep track of what I buy!

Has anyone shown La Danse du Cheval Marwari yet? I like wearing the dull gold dipdye with either the red or the blue. The history of the Marwari horse is rather sad, with the particular strain known for dancing having gone extinct. Makes me wonder if this design was based on photos or actual horses.

Today's scarf is totally different from yesterday's Geisha. This is Boogie Woogie. It tells my age, right, that this design reminds me of John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in Grease

That is a beautiful green!

Oh I hate to hear that the Marwari horse is extinct. I’m off to read about them, the blue scarf is beautiful.

Thank you for letting me blabber on about all sorts of trivia.
@Cookiefiend and @Karenska, this is Geisha, also known as Japon, one of those scarves with no name. It was a grail for me but not on any particular wishlist. This is the type of design that I hope for but don't wish for, IYKWIM. The H fairy gave me quite a few unsought-for grails this year :heart::heart:
