Isn’t this delightful! Triplets with @bunnycat and @xincinsin I think?
Les Bains on before I cut the tags, or changed to a fancier top—and I found a dancer doing the Limbo!
Altogether now! OH, THAT HEM! WONDERFUL!

I recall buying this at the airport. The SA showed me 3 cws: blue-with-blue, blue-with-brown, blue-with-maroon. And I was going to get the maroon, but my heart wanted something brighter. And suddenly I saw this lemon-lime cw on display  ... The rest is history (No, officer, it's really mine. No credit card paper trail. I paid cash. Uhm, you could check my SOTD history for proof of ownership...)

I know JUST what you mean! The one I have has just a leetle too much orange in it to be my best look, but if I pair it with navy and/or dark green (and a lot of makeup) it's not too bad. I don't reach for it often, but I can't ever imagine parting with it.
Don't we sometimes have a theme of "problem" scarves? Maybe you could post yours and we could give you ideas?
Commercial break! Problem scarves will make a return next year. Of course my problem is probably someone else's grail :amuse:

Ah, that bright green cw! I've been eyeing that cw for a long time, but Belles du Mexique has so many amazing cws that I remain undecided.

SOTD is Les Ailes de la Soie - I’m seeing dancing butterflies! :giggle:

You're giving me ideas, Cookie!

You need a trim. They are easy to find and to wear!
But, but, moma, that would take away scarf money.... (that's what I tell myself to stay away from the leather department  ).

I love this scarf! Y'all are finding such good ideas for dancers this week. I can only follow in y'alls wake!

Dancing Pearls - before I figured out that brown isn't my colour. I really need to find this a loving home :crybaby:

I love the Dancing Pearls design- maybe you'll luck out on another CW??? It is pretty fab.

@xincinsin : the blues w/ something are iconic for this design; however, I realized hard to see clearly the various characters—even in the animated version on youtube. On the lime/yellow, all the characters vividly play out their parts. just adore it. and I’m more surprised than anyone at my choice.

I wore this today. Although we are now cold enough for cashmere, I love it too much and refuse to put away.View attachment 4609967View attachment 4609968
The colors and depiction are so lifelike!

Dancing ladies in the four corners of Peuple du Vent plisse. They are having such fun! What kind of music is playing, I wonder? Gypsy, perhaps?
Beautiful marriage of colors on that gem

Stunning collex of whirling skirts! I’m a total sucker for bold colorways and your green & pink gav have me transfixed

Les Quatre Saisons is quite a charming workhorse for me- It should’ve been shared last week for the snowy fox (as worn today), but with a quick re-tie the pair of frisky squirrels are currently on-topic. This springtime couple might be engaging in a bit of a courting dance? :giggle:
I see the need to get creative this week...

The career of Cathy Latham at Hermès spanned four decades. Here are Brandebourgs from 1972 and Bolduc au Carré from 2007. Both designs feature trompe l’oeil illustrations of ribbons and cording. Brandebourgs features an officer’s jacket full of silk cords, buttons and soutaches, and those embellishments continue to the corners of the scarf with its beautiful passementerie detail. Bolduc au Carré takes classic Hermès ribbons and weaves them together ad infinitum.

Brandebourgs... The last two knots are similar but shows it in different lighting. The first modeling pic was my SOTD yesterday.

Twinsies on the Bolduc. LOVE the pearl ring.

Thank you, and you're right!

I did tie my SOTD slightly differently today, to show off that gorgeous medallion in the center of Ciels Byzantins (thank you again, @sdsurfchick , for authenticating!) :

I was still hesitant because I also recently picked up Julia Abadie's Brins d'Or, which has a veeery similar colorway, but I love them both, and they're a nice reminder of a trip to Istanbul and Athens a few years ago. (I bought a non-H scarf from a Topkapi Palace museum shop and promptly left it in a rooftop bar. Argh! The colors were almost identical to CB... Hm.)

And know y'all know my favorite color.
2020 will be your color year FizzyWater!!!! YAY! I love Brins d'Or too. Don't yet have the blue one.
