Beautiful cws, lanit!
My H never did bring in the chartreuse cw of Awooooo, so I acquired the mini version instead. Think I'm triplets with @ksuromax and @Jbizzybeetle.

Ooh, I like that - scarf-dieting!
Happy birthday, QueenieQ!
I know how you feel... Lovely choices!
gorgeous!Noel au Faubourg last night as a shrug, and today around the neck. There's a pretty small window of time to use this scarf! View attachment 4609489 View attachment 4609490
All so gorgeous, Croisette! I love all your dance scarves!
I have three cws of Acte III, Karenska. Almost bought a 4th (@papertiger's red cw) but after trying it on 4 times on 4 separate visits, I had to declare defeat and admit that it just wasn't me
I've watched the Balanchine 1966 film, scratchy and bad sound, probably 30 years ago. Have to admit that I'm more of a Vic-Wells fan. My fascination with Mythiques Phoenix has some of its roots in Margot Fonteyn's Firebird. And to bring the subject back to H scarves, Fonteyn was coached in that role by Tamara Karsavina who first performed the Fokine ballet when she was with Les Ballets Russes!
Shhh... Cookie, I have to be inventive - I have 2 left feet and not that many dance scarvesJust call me Scarf Nerd

View attachment 4609943 View attachment 4609944 Btw ladies, please educate this newbie here. My scarf is pre-owned and so yesterday I saw a few snags on it...I’m not sure if they were there before or did the dry skin on my fingers caused them. Is there something I can do about them? I tried to pull gently in diagonal directions but it’s not helping much since it’s not like they are big pulled loops...should I just leave it and enjoy it? I know nobody else but me knows that they are there...
Re: matte blanc, it might have been on the color thread... I have found countless examples in my own collection that I had never noticed before, even blanc jaune! Speaking of inovation, I am interested in the 2020 Calvacador, where I am sure they have blended art and photography (laser printed, I think, or at least the photographic part). Now if they would run it through a screen process with a matte ink, even Black or dark blue (I am currently fascinated by "chalk Paint", using the matte black on old frames for my painting really "chics" them up. I'll try to post pictures next week; I've been MIA because of deadlines
Just love it! it’s like the first ding in your new car door—you don’t have to worry anymore about the first oneView attachment 4609943 View attachment 4609944 Btw ladies, please educate this newbie here.
