Maybe it's the "Cookie" knot
hahaa!! :giggle:
Same non-knot as yesterday, with Promenade de Longchamps.

Great knot! Love the easy-peasy look of it!
Oh my... what a luscious and decadent display! I love how you decided to bring them all in!

Oh, it’s become a favorite! It ties beautifully, as you can see and it’s so versatile! I encourage you to try it! Thank you so much!

Thanks so much!

This design is amazing! I adore madras and it’s so ethereally luscious in this format! This is the prettiest CW, IMO... And you always to make the gavs look larger and more substantial

It’s such a great and practical one!

Thank you so very kindly!

This is one of those designs that changes so incredibly depending on CW! Completely different look and vibe! So hard to pick a favorite! You did well by choosing these two lovelies

i totally agree... The black hem actually stands out and dances paired with black!

You know? I felt exactly the same about this design. Although I adore hearts, I wasn’t excited about it, but finally fell for it and am so glad I did... It is amazing and looks wonderful on you!

Yup, this is such a great knot, and I love the rose!! All fabulous examples. I most love the Saumur... What a yummy CW!

Love it, too... Easy, effortless and chic!

Such a great design! Looks so amazing on you!

Thanks so much!

Thank you so much!

It’s a great one! I often try it as well... Looks amazing with the plisses

Absolutely! I will share it soon. It’s ridiculously easy

I love this on you! Love your wavy hairstyle as well

Love this knot
Yes! It is a great tie! I looked through my scarf cards to see if it had a 'name' - but it doesn't. But no worries - it doesn't need a name when it works so well!
Here are some of my favorite Magic Scarves... All extremely versatile and with amazing chameleonic powers due to their varied facets

Your ELeC is my favorite!
This simple, but overblown, giant pouf is one I really like to use for impact and when I want to show a maximum amount of the design. It’s also great to wear with an open jacket, and wonderful as a backdrop to long, drapey necklaces

Okay - I die - Fabulous!
Your white Kachinas is beautiful!
It looks gorgeous on you any way you tie it!

I’m a total believer! I need another easy out-the-door knot that looks great; trying this tout suite! :hbeat:

I always love your choice of color ways (they all suit you splendidly), but that Regina & Flamingo party are especially yummy (I didn’t think I “needed” those designs before now)
I hope you do and I sure hope it works for you! So easy and can be worn up close to the neck or looser!
Lol, I was just about to say that.
hahaa!! :giggle:

our 7 scarves with 7 ties has a plus-one, and all reflect my recent over-zealous scarf buying...oh, dear....scarf mail!

this one is not like the others: Toile d’Hermes in a coppery glow because @bunnycat and I wondered if has changeant properties. Conclusion: maybe a bit. Not my color, tho....

Victoires et Militaires de la Vie de Napoleon, with the great man himself, one of two consecutive designs, 1948-49. May feel guilty ‘bout scooping up if someone else was searching for the pair. This is a fun tie: fold triangle, then again, then tie loose ends behind neck—so much control over a cowboy look.

What a marvelous post!
I updated my spread sheet with the correct designer's name!
(and I am so with you on Lettre de Napoleon a Murat - what a hoot! I love it when he ties the horse together with a scarf! :giggle:)
The double-wrap bias tie has been my favorite since my wife-to-be first wore it in...hmmm...1975??
Yes! Thank you for the name!
It's such a great way to wear a scarf!

Well. Landed in London this morning, and turns out, I left the belt for my cashmere coat at home (dry cleaner separates them, and I never put it back on). It’s a wrap coat... so guess who went to the Bond St store and grabbed an orange Guépards to act as a temporary belt? It’s a double scarf kind of day as a result. I am likely wearing the brightest outfit in all of London right now.

(Some of you asked about the bag — K32 in Capucine, PHW).

FABULOUS!!!!

Thank you fifi!

I just love the versatility of these! (And I've always loved that CW of Ex Lib a Carreaux!)
Thanks so much! The ELaC remains one if my fav scarves of all time

It looks gorgeous on you any way you tie it!

Ha! They are both marvelous! Thank you so much!

Unfortunately (or fortunately?), this is just a sampling of the red ones
Hahaha! Gorgeousness!

Those are all so beautiful and dramatic and more so with that knot. Wow!
Thank you so very much!

Really loving this Ex Libris en Cravates! So graphic and bold! Is this new this season? I’ve banned myself from the scarf counter and the new season threads..but dying of curiosity now:yes:
The ELeC was a Spring/Summer 2017 scarf, and I feel it got pushed aside by many of the dazzlers that season, such as Parures de Samourais. By the time I was on my third Samourais, I noticed it and decided on it because of the CW which is actually our team colors, so I meant it to be a game scarf. It’s a beauty and so incredibly versatile... Thanks so much!

hahaa!! :giggle:

Another favorite is just a bias fold knotted at the ends.

OMG what a fabulous look! So ingenious (and beautiful) to use the scarf as a belt!

Absolutely stunning!

The Maxi Twilly Cut format has been discontinued, but previous season models are still available in stores and online (and of course second hand). Whenever I post pics of mine I get asked if I like them and find them easy to wear. The answers are yes and yes :) To illustrate, here are 5 different knots using my Camails MT Cut. The MT Cuts often featured different patterns either on one side, or on one tail. This adds to the versatility of the scarf as you can choose to highlight or hide that second pattern.

The 5 knots are:
1) Simply the two ends slipped through a trio ring
2) Infinity knot looped twice around the neck
3) Loop, highlighting patterned tail
4) Loop highlighting the other tail
5) MaiTai's weave knot
