Doesn’t really fit the scary theme, but it is the colour of blood :giggle:
Cheval sur mon carre CSGM... View attachment 4580090

Oooh- nice thinking! for this week!! Blood is suitably icky and perfectly on theme!

This eye follows you. Scary! AAaaargh!

 At least it follows your victims around.

Spooky weather provided a few hours cool enuf today for Flamboyant Web’s spider bots to work their magic. From other 8-legged creatures, I keep a much greater distance.

Luurve! I missed out on this one in the big size...

DS1 is a Dr Who fan. He introduced me to the sinister Weeping Angel.
My Lumieres de Paris in a suitably nocturnal cw.

That color is AMAZING!

My last tale for this scary week:
The Enchanted Garden - Enter at Your Own Risk
By day, the garden looks delightful. Beautiful flowers perfume the air, blossoming exuberantly everywhere you wander. The lushness is intoxicating and you never want to leave.
PicsArt_11-03-01.37.22.jpg
Songbirds perch on the branches and sing sweetly. You spot bunnies gambolling through the grass.
PicsArt_11-03-01.40.47.jpg
Then the sun goes down and everything changes. The meandering paths become a maze. The blossoms and bushes become shadowy and menacing. Vines reach out to snare and trip you.
PicsArt_11-03-01.44.38.jpg
The songbirds have vanished. Instead, strange-hued peacocks stare at you unblinkingly, screaming if you venture closer. Phosphorescent lizards and toads emerge from beneath the leaves. And those cute bunnies? They are now the Hares from Hell...

That is actually kind of terrifying! And cool.

So clever! Love how you told this silky tale! What design is the top one? It is stunning! And, twins on MdF

Another sinister tale: the One Thousand and One Nights. Scheherazade’s plan to tell the Sultan engrossing stories night after night was actually a plot to keep herself alive, as the Sultan married a different virgin every night to execute each one the next morning thus preventing them from being unfaithful to him. This after his Queen cheated on him. All die, until Scheherazade outwits him with her brilliant stories by making him curious enough to listen night after night, until finally after the 1,001 night, he realizes that has fallen in love with her and marries her, making her Queen. Pretty messed up, gorey and frightening. But yay for Scheherazade’s wit and intelligence and for the beautiful silk inspired by the story... La Charmante aux Animaux

Tutankhamun’s treasures were found in his grave. Gorgeous, but sinister provenance

Tohu Bohu I think means helter-skelter or topsy-turvy or something similar. All I know is that numbers and math scare me... LOL

You know what’s scary? My pearl and/or beaded necklaces unraveling with pieces strewn all over the floor where some could possibly be lost. It has happened to me a few times and my heart skips beats. The last time it happened to me was with a treasured Vrba vintage piece. I lost several beads, but thankfully I know a jeweler who knows the master designer and he promised to fix it for me. I am having the vapors at just the thought. So, here is Dancing Pearls. I need to take a pic next time I wear it!

And, who could forget the one inspired by Blake:
Tyger, Tyger burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
