Such an important scarf purchase for me several years ago: attrape tes reves in teal. Before this all my scarves were historical and classical designs, and nothing green. This one started me in a new direction. Whee!!!View attachment 4012474View attachment 4012475
Beautiful Attrape Tes Reves, moma! I have the mousse in teal (though it looks a little more blue here) and love the contrast hem! I gotta wear this more...Attrape Tes Reves mousse tied.jpg

Fellow scarifies - I'm writing a little apology. I've been told that my Aux Pays de Epices is a fake, a pretty one, but a fake none the less. I've reported the posts to the mods and asked them to remove them so no one makes the same mistake I did in thinking it was an authentic Hermes scarf.
I'm so sorry and terribly embarrassed.
It sure was pretty, Cookie -- I'm so sorry you got stung! :frown: Moussies are hard to check, as there just aren't many pictures of them. If you ordered online, try the authentication thread next time. Don't worry, here's a hug! :hugs:

Ebay - the seller is seyhunm. I am so bummed.
Well, a big virtual hug going your way right here! It is disappointing (especially since it’s so lively!) but I’m sure that we’ve all fallen into that trap at least once. I know that it has happened to me twice and it was so sad and frustrating! Are you able to return it for a refund? Xoxoxo!

Thank you so much Joannadyne - I need a hug!

@ABQ2ATL, I am showing my ignorance but I only follow two threads in TPF: this one and the Hermes current season one. May I please have the link to the authentification thread? I am presently arriving at the mini luxury garage sale of a friend’s neighbor because they told me she had two H scarves for sale and would love to run them by to get an opinion. Thanks in advance!

25 Mar 2018 SUPER SOFT ME: Vintage 70s and Dip Dyes

Some years H scarves have too much sizing,
You see it sometimes—so surprising
To try a scarf with pattern catchy
And find it’s rather stiff and scratchy!

The vintage scarves—alas, no more—
A size so many of us adore,
Were soft enough to start to sag
But I wear mine proudly, like a flag!

In winter when the winds are high
Wrap up and love that old dip-dye!
What makes them soft I do not know
But magic happens, and they glow!

This week we judge our scarves by feel—
You know the ones you’d gladly steal
And snuggle them against your cheek—
These bring the softness that we seek!

Sorry, but we can't use the TPF authentication thread for anything except online sales with an active link -- read through all the rules on the first post of the thread to save being turned away for garage sales. It's a great thread to learn from, though! I read it regularly whether or not I have a scarf to ask about. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...carf-rtw-read-1st-post-before-posting.792303/

Awesome intro ABQ2ATL!
I love how Kelly en Caleche is tied! And Savana Dance - omg - that border!

Dragonflies. I really wish they would bring back the 70s in earnest. I was late to the party on this format. I was able to pick up one this season and I’m trying to get my hands on one more but I guess I’ll have to live out my 70s fantasies through all of you!
This is the cutest scarf!
I wish they'd bring the 70s back too - such a great size.

Awww, I’m so sorry to hear that, cookie! How disappointing, but nothing to feel embarrassed about. It’s the fakers that should feel ashamed! A big hug to you, dear.

I couldn’t agree more with joannadyne.

So sorry this happened to you. Grr.

I’m sad. [emoji17]. I have only 4 70s and no dip dyes. This could turn into a very covetous week for me with regard to the latter!

It’s supposed to warm up this week. I’ll believe it when I see it. But if it does, I’ll break out my 70s for some new pics. Meanwhile, here’s an archive shot of my favorite 70, Savana Dance. A la cavalla knot:

I should be able to do this much better now I have a Trio ring! Will report back.
