The sense I got is that they are phasing out the booklets in favor of the cards, but they have seriously run short of cards. In fairness to the SAs in my local boutique, I am kind of a regular and I suspect they (correctly) think I already have the cards so don't offer them to me. Fair enough as I do have a set and it would be better to give them to someone who doesn't! I do love the SAs who toss in the perfume samples though!
