I just bought the Savannah Small Patent Saffiano Leather Satchel in Pink Grapefruit and I am in love! I think I might have squealed with delight when I opened the package! I had been watching it for a while, but since it's a seasonal color, I could not justify paying full price. When I saw that it was 30% off, I couldn't resist.

It is a pretty small bag, but that's fine with me: keeps me from carrying too much in it (which always happens with bigger bags), and the essential fits easily. I love that there are three compartments; helps with the organization! And I love that it's patent leather: I feel that it makes it sturdier, and I'm less worried about stains on the "pale" color.

Yes, she is a joy to carry! I can't get over how pretty the patent saffiano leather is. So far I tried wearing her with casual outfits appropriate for the beautiful summer weather; she is the perfect spark of color and structure!

I have used my new small Savannah more extensively the last few days, mainly because of the beautiful weather. I started packing a bit more stuff into my bag (as in my quite thick MK wallet, my cell phone, keys and a bit of make-up); it has great storage after all. But I noticed that when the bag gets a bit heavier, the flaps/pockets on both side of the bag, which are held by magnetic snaps, tend to pop open (when the bag is worn with the longer strap, either crossbody or on the shoulder). It is kind of aggravating, since I feel like I can't use all the great organization this bag has, otherwise my bag opens on the sides and clicks when I walk. Does anyone else have this problem? Could it be a defect?

Having not used one myself I can't comment, maybe one of the other ladies can? Could just be that with it being the small one it doesn't like being packed more full? I think this is why I like my suttons so much. When I pack them full (baby nappies, wipes, milk) they still keep their shape and I can pop my wallet in the side zippers x

I think it has more to do with the weight than with the actual volume of things inside, but I agree that it might be because I have the small bag. My wallet fits easily inside the central pocket, but it is quite heavy with the change, the cards and all. I only had a few lipsticks, my keys and my cellphone in the side pockets. Could it be that the sides open because the magnetic snaps are weaker than normal?

Bought the small in gold and absolutely adore it for casual occasions with the crossbody strap and without for more formal occasions. Perfect size for everyday essentials.

Can anyone compare the Savannah against the Sutton? I'm late to the MK party & missed out on the Sutton unless I stumble upon one at Marshall's. Savannah looks so similar but I think I like the 2 zip areas with the large center compartment on the Sutton better.

I sold my two large suttons - I really liked them just never had use for the two zipped compartments. I tried on the large savannah today in the new color antique rose and it is gorgeous! The base of the savannah is much wider, easier to access and the magnetic clasp is stronger than the one on the sutton. The middle zip compartment is also very structured surprisingly and if you leave it open it does not distort the shape of the bag. The zipper/hardware is substantial and smooth too. The concave at the top of the bag where the handles are also makes it really comfortable for wearing it on the crook of your arm whereas I found the sutton was more suitable as a shoulder bag since your arm may rub against the metal zipper part. The savannah is bulkier than the sutton. Overall I think the savannah is a great well made bag and prefer it over the sutton - I purchased the medium in blossom from the Macy's sale today and the large in bisque from the MK site. Very excited to get it and do a reveal here!
