LOVE!!! Is that the all gold vintage alhambra? Classic and marvelous choice. Remind me is your HW gold or palladium.... (see how i kept on topic? ) I am usually mixing bag, belt and jewelry so don’t pay any nevermind.
Hi all, I just moved here and am looking for a SA. I’ve been to the SF store several times but have never been approached asking if I need any help, no matter how busy the store is. I am a bit put off as a result...Is this normal?
I'm unsure as to whether the etiquette in-store is to ask for help, schedule an appointment, wait for help, etc. The more experienced customers who are active here on tPF have had good advice in this regard. Taking control of the H store experience is not something I've yet achieved!Hi all, I just moved here and am looking for a SA. However you shop at other stores is how you should shop at H. No need to overanalyze potential interactions. If you see something you like and no one's approached you, ask for help.I get it...I find the in-store experience intimidating and prefer to do my H scarf shopping online. True - no harm in asking for help and taking the initiative. And if they’re all busy, one will eventually be available to assist you. And don’t worry if you don’t establish an instant rapport with your SA - it took me a year to find my current SA at my home store. I lucked out with SAs at two other boutiques I frequent - the ones who assisted me the first times have now become my long standing SAs at those locations. All the first times at my locations, I’ve either been approached or waited patiently after I’ve asked for assistance. Believe me, once you stop over thinking, the H in-store experience is wonderful. I get excited just thinking of walking into as many different boutiques as I possibly can! However you shop at other stores is how you should shop at H. No need to overanalyze potential interactions. Word is that the remodeled SF boutique opening is on Nov. 14! No word yet on whether or not there will be a special scarf for the reopening...
Warning - I don’t know how positive they are on the date - opening dates often slip. They obviously want to be open for holiday shopping!
