Hi everyone! I am new to the H club. Still thinking if I should build up purchase history from San Francisco store or Palo Alto store. Any suggestions would be great :) thanks!!
I will choose pa
New store needs new client base
New store needs regular and loyalty support
New store will appreciate and easier to capture customers preference
New store annual sales targets will set much lower than expected

SF seems to have a larger inventory and will be the west coast flagship store. If you are in it for the long run, I think it's worth investing your time to build a profile there.

For me PA is close to home, and I like their staff, but some of the sales associates are relatively new to the brand. I feel the inventory right now is low, but it may change - at least I'm crossing my fingers.

Thanks for your reply! The distance is definitely one of the concern. Palo Alto is closer to me as well

My thoughts, too. That’s why I continue to go back to PA when I go home. SF is closer but I’m really appreciative of the service I’ve received so far from PA. It’s certainly smaller in some aspects but I feel more at home in PA than my ‘home’ location at Madison.

I feel very similarly about PA vs. Madison actually and have been only shopping at PA.

However, I don't think that location-shopping is an exact science. For those choosing between SF and PA, I would suggest go with whichever is most convenient and try to find an SA you like.

I wish I could shop in the Madison store! The inventory seems amazing.
I didn't want to mention this in my previous post, but my SA said she's not seen one Kelly Lettre in PA and in fact she did not know about its existence till I brought it up. My lovely SA has since talked to the manager about the bag but I'm not so sure what she can do. I know a friend who visits the SF store regularly has been offered a lettre (and she declined it!) Maybe PA just didn't order many special edition bags?

I tried, weekend means more traffic at the store, and more people waiting in line at restaurants
There is just no perfect solution [emoji23]
So true! I make an effort to go on a weekday during odd early afternoon hours. Is it wrong to say I find the drive along 280 therapeutic? It’s navigating Sand Hill that makes me scream internally.
