How are the surroundings these days in San Francisco? The last time I was there was during my H appointment in the summer of 2022. Do you guys feel safe leaving the store and going to your car even with a white shopping bag?

I always shop with another person, and leave them in the store to bring my car around and load bags.
Thanks for the response! I usually go alone but I normally have a car waiting for me, curbside, when I'm done. I just got paranoid reading a story about a girl who got robbed upon exiting Chanel. While it didn't happen in SF, I gotta wonder how it's like, these days, outside of H given how crazy it has been in the downtown area.

Generally during the day time, you'll be okay. Especially during the weekends, there are more people around these days, so there's (SOME) safety in numbers. I wouldn't flaunt the bag around, but especially if you go straight to your car with a white shopping bag, you'd have to be very unlucky to run into any issues.

Hey guys! So I’ve been shopping at the SF store and working with an SA consistently (twice so far) and building rapport to hopefully work up to a bag. At the end of each visit she always asks me if there’s anything else she can help me with. I never bring up the topic of a bag and just say no and stick to buying my things. At what point should I bring up a bag? Should I wait for her to ask? We did speak today and I mentioned how there’s no bags on display and she said “well that’s what you have me for” but I didn’t ask to see any while I was there. I was thinking of texting her the next time I go in to ask to look at some or just maybe send her a wishlist of bags I hope to get in the future. Thoughts?

She has definitely opened the door to you with her comment, but I wouldn’t say shopping twice puts you quite at “consistently” shopping yet. So it may be better to mention it during your next shopping trip or when requesting other items, vs texting directly about a bag, unless you bought a lot during your two trips or feel super comfortable with her - in which case, text follow may be fine.

I always think it’s nicer to make any leather inquiries in person and ask for her feedback then

I have a question about my relationship with my SA. He’s been responsive to my questions but in person we haven’t really clicked. I’ve shopped with him for about 3x now over the span of 9 months. Last time I asked for a few items and we would set up an appt via text. When we got there he totally forgot what I asked for and in the end I was helped by store assistant (who is trying to be an SA). We didn’t even talk other than a quick greet. He ended up helping somebody else.. what should I do? I want to switch SA but everyone keeps telling me I’ll get blacklisted.

Thank you! I’ve been eyeing some porcelain pieces to add to my home so maybe I’ll inquire the next time I reach out and am ready to purchase those items. Should I ask to see a specific bag and color? Or keep in general like I just want to browse?
