It could be true that some VIPs or long-time clients may unload *certain* QB that they no longer personally want. If VIPs/long-time clients have buyer remorse, I think it makes sense for them to just sell 1 or 2 QBs.
Please note FF get bags from everywhere around the world. Let's not assume the bags in FF are mostly coming from US or SF boutique.

Sharing my experience...

I've technically been a client since 2013 but I didn't begin my "QB journey" or purchasing non-leather goods until February/March 2022 (before that, I only purchased a Clic H in 2013 and a Lindy 26 in August 2021).

I received my QB (K28 sellier) in December 2022 after spending a little over 1:1 in addition to a couple of bags (Evelyne TPM and Picotin 22). So if you don't count my purchases from before 2022, I waited less than a year for my QB but I was fully expecting to wait much, much longer. It could be because I was open to size 28. I was also open to a few non-neutral colors, which is what I ultimately purchased.

I have a genuinely great relationship with my SA so I continue to think that's a huge factor, even though I'm not huge spender (relatively speaking).

Like others have said, 3 months is not a long time at all. Patience is a virtue!

I was offered 2 Lindy 26s. The first was clémence black PHW. I declined as I prefer GHW. In early February I was offered L26 in bleu nuit GHW evercolor leather, which I happily accepted. A few days ago I casually asked about Picotins and lo and behold, my SA had a gold gold combo. I wasn't even planning to buy a Picotin, but this was such a great combo that I couldn't refuse.

FYI I have only been with my SA since December 2022 and only purchased a pair of sneakers before being offered the Lindys. I have never brought up QBs or wishlists except for a Lindy 26 in a dark neutral color.

Congrats, what size is the Picotin? When I was in last month they had Picotin 26, which I like, but didn't like the color combo available.

Thanks! I bought a twilly and a lip shine the same time as the Lindy 26. My next purchase after that was the Picotin 18 (unplanned).

Thank you! It’s the 18 size. There was a 24/24 gold gold combo on display, but the 29 size.

That‘s true. I didn’t get the 24/24 despite the gold gold combo because it was the 29 size. It looked bulky on me. Also, it already felt rather heavy while empty. If it were the mini (21 cm), I might have bought that instead of the Picotin. :graucho:
