Hello! Can anyone please brief me on the timeline and spend ratio for a B30 or C18 (any hardware, any neutral)? I reviewed the website with my partner, and we both came to the conclusion that Men's RTW/Shoes, beauty, and scarves were the most exciting categories for us to dive into. Any info would be highly appreciated.

Fwiw I have spent over 20k in last three months, not including mini Lindy. Still no qb. Wondering if I should keep with same SA or change ? They said it’s a year long wait in sf.
I’m in NY, not SF, but both flagships are similar in terms of stock availability. Three months is not a long wait, and if she says it’s a year, I would assume she’s being honest. Especially since she’s favored you with a popular mini lindy at 2X spend (presumably in non leather categories). From reading the thread, it‘s arguable that your SA has done more for you than for others who have waited longer but without a coveted non QB.

ETA: the wait may simply be an indication that there are quite a few people ahead of you and/or that the bag you want is in short supply. Neither of which will change by switching SAs.

ETA: on the previous page 181, @Sweetpea84 received her first offer B30 gold sellier after 16 months

Thanks for sharing. I would just slow down on your spending and wait it out. Continue to buy smaller items like makeup/perfume once a month to keep the conversation warm. Like 880 mentioned, there may just be a few people on the waitlist ahead of you. Gosh your pre-spend is up there already. Are you waiting for a K25S, B25 or MK? The competition is fierce for those and I’ve read on some forums it’s 2.5-3:1 or more. I’ve also been reading how H is changing the game in 2023 to make bags more exclusive. The prespend is going up depending on store. Unfortunately this game just benefits those VIPs or folks who have always spent alot. Those folks will always get first dibs and will buy then resell for profit to resellers. Bags they reject trickle down the waitlist. This way H keeps exclusivity while keeping their bread and butter happy and making all of us go bonkers pre-spending with hope but no guarantee. Someone called it the H squid games.

I’ve only spent maybe 12k in the last 2 years, no qb bag (was not even asked for a wishlist yet.) I asked for a bolide 25 (convo only happened since I asked about the bolide centennial anniversary) and can’t even get that! My SA said the store doesn't get many bolides in general so idk. Been waiting to make one FJ purchase to position myself spend better but I’m on the fence about whether to continue with the game or just fold and go reseller. It’s hard for me to buy FJ when I see so many on FF or TRR at 50-60% lower. Also, I also heard from a YTuber that H does a 2 year lookback at the time a QB is considered. That doesn't helped me since most of my spend is in the first year and time just keeps passing by. I didn’t spend much at H in the last 6 months bc I got distracted with other designer brands too. Lol.

Good luck! I hope you get the call soon. power to you.

Hmmm....I think you got your above statement wrong. As far as I know, the SF long-time clientele are not resellers generally.
Most of them shop in SF boutique because they like the H items, and can afford the spending for the H items they like. They are not the same clientele that H attracted post-COVID whom many need to buy & re-sell their unwanted items.

It's understood that the current H game is not fun and requires for lots of pre-spend for many clients, easily 3:1+ for desirable QBs. At this high prespend ratio (3:1+) at affluent cities like SF/PA, I don't think anyone can easily profit by reselling the bag & their unwanted H items for deep discount.

I agree I don’t think VIP or long term clients resell. They are often with H for the long run because they truly love the brand. Versus some of the newer shoppers are out for QBs only.. I can see them reselling their presend items. But yes of course there are shoppers who are getting started and have come to love H and the other items they offer.

I was implying the opposite, that there are probably many people in front of her which is why the SA said the wait was 12 months. Unfortunately, Post Covid, 2X (in favorable categories excluding leather) is on the lower side relative to many clients who currently obtain QB offers at US flagships.

I will provide my experience as a newish client to H when I started in Dec 2021 at this store. Received c18 in May 2022 and then a b25 in Nov 2022. If you don't count c18 as a qb then my wait all together is close to a year. I don't really keep track of spend but it would be close to 3:1 for my b25 (this is not including purchases before c18 and if I did would be 4:1). And I only buy what I like.

As another member mentioned I think you should also slow down on your purchases and just wait it out as well since you spent so much in a small time frame. I really don't think the SA is at fault here as there is too much competition. I believe there are many clients in SF still waiting on their qb fulfillment.

You’re right. I didn’t mean to say that all VIPs or long term clients are reselling their pre-spend or QB bags but it seems some do let go of their QBs and even HSS. Just purely looking at the exotics and hard to get bags NIB that get dumped on FF, I think there are loyalty purchases made by VIPs that end up there.
